It's very clear she listens to you, wants you to have a great service, and is very attentive to your comfortability. Her intake form asks whether or not you've dealt with claustrophobia, which is something I do deal with but have never had a service provider ask about or consider. Due to this, she was very mindful of whether or not certain things would be overstimulating and I honestly appreciated this most of all. It speaks to her accessibility for all populations who are trying to engage in self care, even though those services aren't always 100% comfortable for us. Additionally, she utilized breath work, meditation, and energy work during the service which made it feel unique and dual purpose. I loved the spiritual based practice. I also appreciated the extra touches, such as a care package upon leaving and emphasis on continuing care post facial. She also uses incredibly reputable skincare brands. In short, I think that anyone who needs extra love, care, and sensitivity would love a facial from her.

She was so intentional with every single step of the process and I could feel how much care she put into everything. She had affirmation cards and goodie bags for me too! I highly recommend seeing her for your next facial if you'd love a more unique and personal experience.

It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long…read more Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done!

Dr. Staidle was also very personable and friendly, however, I would be careful with the results of any sort of surgery he does on you and the follow up. I had a lipoma and also a ruptured cyst removed last year, lipoma on my sternum and the cyst on the side of my neck. Prior to both surgeries, I asked for healing time, what the scar will look like, how long, treatment time, etc. I was assured that the scars would eventually decrease over time. After the surgery, it was unfortunately the same experience as many others, had another tech come in to take a picture both times and show it to the doctor who signed off on both and said they looked great. I fortunately got another meeting with Dr. Staidle after my sternum surgery because a piece of the stitching was stuck in my wound that was not taken out initially and was causing an irritation and healing issue. Obviously there is no guarantee that a scar will look exactly like is promised, but when your scar is looking like Frankenstein after almost a year with no sign of additional improvement, that's not what was promised. I am disappointed by the results and am kicking myself that I didn't go to an actual surgeon who could have done it and made it look much cleaner. Just be aware of the process from the initial surgery, the follow up, and then the end result. Prepare yourself for what your results will actually look like.

Prior to Christmas I booked a "Pedi Party for Two" for my mom and I. It was described on their…read morewebsite as a: Side-by-side treatment with softening soak and scrub, followed by nail care, trimming, buffing, and gel polish. Includes a bar beverage and a chocolate lava cake. Most of that was true, but I have to admit it was the chocolate lava cake that secured the appointment, because my mom is a chocoholic... and it was the chocolate lava cake that was neither offered, nor received. The staff was lovely and the nail technicians were competent, but the overall vibe was lacking. If there was music on, it was too low to hear. The central view was of a wall hanging fountain that was dirty and had a power cord hanging over the top of it. We opted out of gel polish, for personal reasons, and were fairly astounded at the slim pickings for regular polish... not even a basic, classic red was available (and that's what we were there for, at Christmastime). Lastly, because there were appointments stacked right behind us, understandably at the time of year, we were dismissed in flip flops. I was surprised there weren't drying lights available to us to wait under until our polish dried, in another area so the pedicure chairs could be evacuated and made ready for the next customers. It felt very slipshod to be walking my 75+yo mom out of the resort, in December, in barefoot and sandals. Because she was cold, she put her shoes on before exiting and messed up her polish. I know this isn't exactly the fault of the nail salon, but had we been given drying options, it wouldn't have happened. I was asked by the spa, afterward, in an automatic text form, to review my experience. I filled out a review, but I exceeded the allotted characters and was only able to address the lack of chocolate, promised in the price of the service, and the shortage of standard color options in the regular polish selections. It's been eleven days since our appointments, I understand Christmas happened between then and now and took that into account, but I have been surprised that no one reached out to address my dissatisfaction in the pricey package. Had I been contacted by the spa to simply acknowledge my concerns, I would have kept my review private.
