My grandmother and I both had a Hazelnut Chocolate sorta treat which was good. The only problem we had was the service! The person who brought us to our table was very nonchalant, unfriendly and overall a drag to have. Did not ask if we were okay, or if we needed anything else. I'd grab his attention to ask for our check and he walked away, TWICE! Luckily another person had been paying attention and brought the check. But service is crucial for guest experience. Your venue and food will not save the business if your employees are not giving their 100%. Cheers!

I asked if things could be cleaned and he said yes hot water that's fine. Just was very condescending and did not make me feel confident about the attempt to help with my allergy. He also had a very salesman attitude but in an aggressive way. It was a beautiful place with I'm sure delicious food but was discouraged with the refusal to attempt to prevent cross contamination with a simple drink. With all that said, it was a lovely cortado and rose matcha, just hoping for no symptoms later.

Food- including the savoury items- remains thoroughly excellent. A note on the waiting system - it's a single queue for everything ( take outs and getting seated). If you want something from here, join the queue. There is no special queue for you. Get in the queue. That does mean you. No, I don't care why you think you're special. Get in the queue. I feel this is worth a mention, as during one fifteen minute wait, I saw not one, but three instances of people who seemingly couldn't grasp this, including one couple who wanted to argue with me that the big sign that says "there's one queue" couldn't possibly mean them, seeing as they'd arrived after all the other people, yunno, in the queue.

They are also one of the first restaurants to open in the area and we were up due to jet lag. It worked out perfectly. We were the first customers of the day and they let us enter prior to the posted opening time. You can dine in, dine outside or get things to go. They offer beverages, baked goods and breakfast. We dined in as it was rather cold for our standards outside. All the locals who arrived after us sat outside lol. Mink ordered a ham and cheese pastry with a hot chocolate. I ordered their Traditional Full English Breakfast with an Earl Grey tea. It didn't take the kitchen long to get our order out. The cashier who was also the barista was working as quickly as she could. Customer service wasn't the friendliest nor most helpful but maybe it's a cultural thing. I had a bite of Mink's pastry and it was delicious, rich but very tasty. My order was quite good and hit the spot. Portions were perfect for breakfast and the tea washed it all down while warming me up before heading back out. Cozy spot to check out in the Earl's Court area.
