Preston Medical Pharmacy is an independently owned home health care pharmacy specializing in clinical pharmaceutical services including palliative care, long term care, specialty compounding, compliance packaging and infusion therapy. Established in 1986, Preston Medical Pharmacy initially opened as an independent, medical dispensary. Brian Hummel, the owner and Corporate Executive Officer expanded the pharmaceutical services to include home health care supplies in 1987. Preston Medical Pharmacy was Cambridge's first full service, home health care supplier. The staff has a combined experience of over three hundred years assisting health care clients of Waterloo Region. Preston Medical Pharmacy is an authorized vendor for the Assistive Devices Program and Veteran's Affairs. On staff, there is personnel certified to fit back braces, breast prosthesis and medical stockings. Preston Medical Pharmacy offers blood pressure testing and glucose monitor training.

Meet the Business Owner: brian H.

President and Owner of Preston Medical Pharmacy, 1986 to present Since his graduation, Mr. Hummel has served the community of Cambridge as a pharmacist for 30years. He started his own business, Preston Medical Pharmacy, in 1986. Mr. Hummel takes pride in being the owner of one of the few independent pharmacies in Cambridge. He began specializing in Home Health Care in 1987 and retired in 2016. The pharmacy is now run by his 2 daughters Angela and Gina who are both pharmacists.
