Presto pasta is the place you go to when you want quick, easy, reasonably priced pasta. My husband and I tried the drive-through experience because how could we not for pasta?! There was a line but it was very efficient, service was friendly, and although obviously a bit longer wait than normal fast food drive-throughs we were surprised by how little we had to wait to receive our food. The food itself? Just OK to me, nothing authentic but not bad either. We ordered the cajun chicken penne and the shrimp scampi. The cajun chicken penne was actually well flavored and the penne was cooked well. It didn't make me say wow but I definitely finished my plate. The shrimp scampi, on the other hand, was bland with overcooked shrimp. Most satisfying food on the go experience in a long time. Just had a presto mukbang with meat lasagna and the Cajun chicken pasta sub zoodles. I ordered online, picked it up in the drive through. The young lady at the window verified my order, double checked the bag for accuracy and provided everything (nobody does that anymore). The meat lasagna was ok, a hearty portion that was palatable BUT the Cajun chicken pasta substituted with zoodles was PHENOMENAL. The sauce, the onions the crunchy stuff; all of it. We found a courteous staff and a fresh quick lunch. We chose the Greek salad from the choices, it came first and was very fresh and yummy! The pizza came out later and was pretty good, not great, but decent. I prefer a crispier crust, but it was fine. Salad was outstanding. Dining room was clean. A great value. As much as I love Presto Pasta, the Camarillo location is the worst out of all the Ventura County restaurants. I avoid specific location if possible and when I don't I instantly regret it. On my last visit last week, I was forced to go to Camarillo as the Ventura location closed early for some reason. I ordered 2 chicken picatta's, one of them having 2 extra pieces of chicken and heavy sauce on both dishes. The person I talked to on the phone to place my order was not very friendly and was rushing me to place my order. When I arrived, they did not confirm my order like they do in Ventura where they take everything out to make sure everything was correct. I took a quick look when I got in my car and everything seemed to be in order. When I got home and took everything out, I was missing 1 chicken breast, and both dishes were almost bone dry with no sauce. All the chicken was tough and overcooked. Unfortunately by the time I realized this, the restaurant was almost closing and I was not about to drive 25 miles round trip for them to correct the issues. Luckily I reached out to their office team and they are handling the situation for me. My advice is to avoid this specific location if possible, go the the Ventura location, I've never had an issue with them before. read more

First time ever coming, stopped to pick up dinner. Everything looked good so we ordered a variety of food. They have a sampler, which has different options so I opted for that. I asked the cashier what I could substitute for the chicken piccata and he told me different options. I chose the tortellini. We ordered everything, waited a while for our food and then left with 2 bags full of food. I know I should've checked that everything was correct but I had starving children and I wanted to get home to feed them. When I pulled everything out I realized my sampler platter was just an order of tortellini; no lasagna, no fettuccine alfredo. To say I was bummed was an understatement. I called and spoke to the manager. He said I would need to bring the order back to get a refund or any type of discount, or the correct food. Mind you, that would have been another 40 minutes there and back. I asked if he could send something for a future visit and he said that would be fine. He took my information and a year later I still haven't received my coupons. The food overall was fine but I'm big on customer service and to be difficult when your employee messes up and then make fake promises, that's not cool at all. I think I'll stick with Olive Garden. A long while ago, this used to be my local Presto Pasta. We stopped in last Sunday for an early dinner. Discovered a redecorated interior. Where once bold red, purple, and gold prevailed, now the ambiance is more subdued. The service is still top notch - extremely friendly and attentive. The meal option of a plate of pasta, plus salad or soup, a slice of garlic bread and a beverage is an excellent value. Dear Hubby and I split one order, adding a bowl of minestrone and a side of garlic bread, plus 3 cookies. It all came to about $22. Hard to beat! Am a fan of their chicken picatta with fettuccine Alfredo. With two chicken breasts included, it was perfect to split. One of their team members came around with fresh parmesan to grate over our plates. Two others stopped by during the meal to see if we needed anything. The last two times I went I came home with dry pasta, no sauce. I was pissed! I called and they mailed me $10 gift certificates all though this had happened twice. I've never been to an Italian restaurant with a drive thru. That's an interesting one. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with a slice of plain cheesecake. Their cheesecakes are from The Cheesecake Factory. The meal was absolutely delicious. Mind you, this is not authentic Italian, but I didn't expect it to be. The breading on the chicken was VERY flavorful and delicious. They give you a pretty big portion of pasta. The two pieces of chicken I got were of a nice size as well. The cheesecake was good too. The meatball sub was all one texture. The bread needed to be baked or atleast some toasting on it. Secondly the meatballs were like mush. It was not a vibe. My buddies food was warm(ER) but still not acceptable. We had to put chilli and pepper all over the food for flavor. I appreciated the fresh grated cheese they served though. I would come back but not get the same stuff again at all. If I can recommend toasting the bread, that would be great to implement that. I enjoyed my spaghetti and meatball combo and the price was very reasonable for a good sized helping of pasta with a Caesar salad and a fountain drink. It even included a small piece of garlic bread. My wife and I received a coupon in the mail. We were expecting typical "fast food" quality and environment. This expectation couldn't have been further from the truth. The food was absolutely fantastic! First of all, it was served quickly. The portions were huge. The salad was extremely fresh, the pasta was served piping hot, and it all was unbelievably delicious. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. They had jazz music playing, and it was not loud, so we were able to talk. Also, the prices are very reasonable. Our plates were removed from the table promptly after we were finished with our meal. The icing on the cake was the fact that every employee was kind, friendly, courteous, and helpful.
