We had just recently visited this location. It had been a year since last visiting and we had a horrible experience. We have visited this location before and had great experience with the staff and food. We ordered our food and the staff had taken our order however he didn't read it back to me or provide a copy of the receipt. He was very courteous and quick. However when we got our food he had forgotten to have chicken added to my order so he had to check if i had ordered it which I did, but we didn't get a receipt. So we waited and when it came he had accidentally spilled it on the floor and some of it when on our clothes. We didn't get upset since it appeared to be an accident and he apologized. But he didn't offer to help us any napkins. We moved to another table so that they clean up the mess, but they didn't apologize or check on us. I received my full order and was asked if there was anything else. We were waiting for my son's pizza, but was told it wasn't included in the order. Again I don't have a receipt, so they gave me a copy and showed it wasn't included so I had to pay for one and again wait for my sons pizza to come I order to eat. My pasta was slightly over cooked, but didn't want to send it back. Just wanted to get out of there since we were already there for an hour. I would have thought that the staff would come and apologize for all the mishaps that happened. But we just left. I may have to switch locations. read more

Service is quick, people are friendly and patient (I didn't know what I wanted to order). The $10.00 lunch special is every day. The meal is hearty and filling. The portion for lunch is generous. The restaurant is clean and quiet. Good 80s music playing In the background too. The quality is comparable to Olive Garden, Johnny Carino/Carrabba's. It is a franchise type Italian restaurant. I think it is better than Olive Garden but about the same compared to Johnny Carino and Carrabba's. read more

Tonight I ordered 2 pasta's, a small garden salad and a sub which was $41. About a month ago my Cajun Chicken Penne was missing the bell peppers. Tonight's order was missing the Chicken in the Cajun Chicken Penne. I don't understand how you can miss a $4 protein in the pasta. I'm no longer happy with this location, and sad by the lack of quality control for pricey pasta. read more

Presto Pasta - Cajun Chicken Penne missing the chicken. - Italian Near Me - Camarillo, California

This is the fast food of Italian food. The food isn't exceptional by any means. It's feels more like a real meal than other fast food, and it is good for what it is. You can go through the drive thru or order at the counter inside. The food comes out quick and service is friendly. If you want mediocre but quick Italian food, then this is a good place to eat. read more

Presto Pasta is the absolute best! I ordered online and when I walked in, I discovered that I ordered for the Simi Valley location instead of Camarillo. The Camarillo staff didn't think twice and made my order for me. They were amazing, understanding, and so so nice. Thank you Presto Pasta. Oh ya, and the food is always awesome! read more

Presto pasta is the place you go to when you want quick, easy, reasonably priced pasta. My husband and I tried the drive-through experience because how could we not for pasta?! There was a line but it was very efficient, service was friendly, and although obviously a bit longer wait than normal fast food drive-throughs we were surprised by how little we had to wait to receive our food. The food itself? Just OK to me, nothing authentic but not bad either. We ordered the cajun chicken penne and the shrimp scampi. The cajun chicken penne was actually well flavored and the penne was cooked well. It didn't make me say wow but I definitely finished my plate. The shrimp scampi, on the other hand, was bland with overcooked shrimp. We might consider coming back ourselves to try more items and sit inside the restaurant, but we wouldn't bring out-of-town guests here for an Italian pasta dinner. - Jess read more

We came here for the outlets and wanted to try something other than the typical food courts. Found this place on Yelp and we highly recommend. The Chicken Piccata has just a hint of sourness to it, which was a very nice balance to the rest of the dish. The Meat Lasagna was very hearty. The most amazing part not mentioned is the bread. Perfectly toasted. read more

Most satisfying food on the go experience in a long time. Just had a presto mukbang with meat lasagna and the Cajun chicken pasta sub zoodles. I ordered online, picked it up in the drive through. The young lady at the window verified my order, double checked the bag for accuracy and provided everything (nobody does that anymore). The meat lasagna was ok, a hearty portion that was palatable BUT the Cajun chicken pasta substituted with zoodles was PHENOMENAL. The sauce, the onions the crunchy stuff; all of it. You know how sometimes you're glad to eat by yourself so you can drink the sauce and juice and lick the bowl without judgment? This was that time this was that messy, proud instance. Oh the bread was quickly consumed too. read more

Never had a bad meal. Very tasty dishes and the prices are reasonable! The staff are GREAT, so friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough. Me and my husband LOVE it and have been going to the Camarillo Presto Pasta for many years! Thought it was time to give them a BIG SHOUT and THANK YOU FOR THEIR EXCELLENCE! My only very tiny complaint would be that the air conditioning could be higher. It can get a little stuffy in there. read more

This is my second meal here. My first time coming here I was not expecting a server to come to my table. I was more so expecting it to be like in-n-out or some place where u paid food first and just eat. I really like the food here. They'll fix it up as your liking. Choose the salad. If you're a picky eater like me. I remember my first meal here was the chicken piccata and the salad with olives. The fact that they fixed right up for me to my liking...I wanted to tip so bad. Not every food place is like this. The service is incredible. read more

We tried this place because we wanted a quick lunch, but not fast food and the name "Presto" Pasta sounded quick. We tried their lunch combo of a small pizza and a salad for $10. We found a courteous staff and a fresh quick lunch. We chose the Greek salad from the choices, it came first and was very fresh and yummy! The pizza came out later and was pretty good, not great, but decent. I prefer a crispier crust, but it was fine. Salad was outstanding. Dining room was clean. A great value. I will return and choose the salad and pasta next time. read more

A long while ago, this used to be my local Presto Pasta. We stopped in last Sunday for an early dinner. Discovered a redecorated interior. Where once bold red, purple, and gold prevailed, now the ambiance is more subdued. The service is still top notch - extremely friendly and attentive. The meal option of a plate of pasta, plus salad or soup, a slice of garlic bread and a beverage is an excellent value. Dear Hubby and I split one order, adding a bowl of minestrone and a side of garlic bread, plus 3 cookies. It all came to about $22. Hard to beat! Am a fan of their chicken picatta with fettuccine Alfredo. With two chicken breasts included, it was perfect to split. One of their team members came around with fresh parmesan to grate over our plates. Two others stopped by during the meal to see if we needed anything. Many "full-service" restaurants don't do that much! I've been a solid fan of P.P. for many years, and our latest experience kept the love going. read more

Always good foo, quick service, nice people. A go to after a long day. Keep them on speed dial!

PRESTO PASTA is a restaurant with an amazing selection of FRESH dishes made to order! You will be pleasantly surprised how efficiently and effectively the staff offers drive-thru service on your requested items, hot or chill. The portions are generous, the prices are terrific and the Staff is outstanding. Drop in or drive through and experience the food and staff for yourself! Try the combo sampler (chicken piccata, lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and tasty garlic bread) which is more than enough for many couples. THE Greek salad is heaven. It's so tasty with or without the dressing and they're great to take to work or an event. Since I found them about three years ago... I definitely appreciate how CLEAN the restaurant is ALWAYS kept. Say hey to Ben, Destiny, Corey or Tommy -- The entire team is there for your dining satisfaction! Salute! read more

I'm from out of town and was craving some Italian for dinner. I stumbled upon Presto Pasta here on Yelp and it swayed me into giving them a try. I've never been to an Italian restaurant with a drive thru. That's an interesting one. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with a slice of plain cheesecake. Their cheesecakes are from The Cheesecake Factory. The meal was absolutely delicious. Mind you, this is not authentic Italian, but I didn't expect it to be. The breading on the chicken was VERY flavorful and delicious. They give you a pretty big portion of pasta. The two pieces of chicken I got were of a nice size as well. The cheesecake was good too. You can never go wrong with cheesecake. My whole meal cost about $17. I'd definately come back. Employees I encountered were very friendly. read more

As much as I love Presto Pasta, the Camarillo location is the worst out of all the Ventura County restaurants. I avoid specific location if possible and when I don't I instantly regret it. On my last visit last week, I was forced to go to Camarillo as the Ventura location closed early for some reason. I ordered 2 chicken picatta's, one of them having 2 extra pieces of chicken and heavy sauce on both dishes. The person I talked to on the phone to place my order was not very friendly and was rushing me to place my order. When I arrived, they did not confirm my order like they do in Ventura where they take everything out to make sure everything was correct. I took a quick look when I got in my car and everything seemed to be in order. When I got home and took everything out, I was missing 1 chicken breast, and both dishes were almost bone dry with no sauce. All the chicken was tough and overcooked. Unfortunately by the time I realized this, the restaurant was almost closing and I was not about to drive 25 miles round trip for them to correct the issues. Luckily I reached out to their office team and they are handling the situation for me. My advice is to avoid this specific location if possible, go the the Ventura location, I've never had an issue with them before. read more

I was really disappointed with my order. The last couple of times I have come haven't been that great. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and they just threw on a few mushrooms and very little sauce. My son ordered Chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it came with no chicken. Not cool. Pull it together Presto Pasta! read more

Food was pretty good and at a better price point than Olive Garden. Very family friendly and more on the side of fast food than restaurant. We got the shrimp scampi, pesto pasta, and chicken alfredo with broccoli. We think the shrimp scampi was the best dish :) Service was quick and staff was very friendly. Gillian was exceptionally kind and accommodating to us! Would definitely come back. read more

Not what it use to be! So disappointing, I don't know if it's just the Camarillo location but I will never spend my money there ever again. The last two times I went I came home with dry pasta, no sauce. I was pissed! I called and they mailed me $10 gift certificates all though this had happened twice. They should have at least sent me $20! The manager told me "oh this is a common complaint". Who tells a customer that. If it's an on-going thing FIX IT. Foods bland and just doesn't taste the same. I use to go to the Santa Barbara location with my family as a young teenager and it was awesome. Now, I have no glue what's going on. I ordered the artichoke hearts. I spit most of them out because it was grizzle from the artichoke. So long presto pasta l, ya lost a faithful customer. I'll see ta at olive garden lol read more

Stopped in for dinner this evening and for this first, I ordered the house lasagne. Overall, I enjoyed it, except the amount of cheese was wimpy and the sauce was a bit too acidic. Cooking the sauce a bit longer or simply adding a bit of sugar may have helped. read more

Well first of all, they have a gluten free menu for my daughter so she can enjoy presto pasta but in our last visit we notified them that she has wheat allergy and unfortunately whoever bagged our food put all meals AND bread in same bag. I will start off with service getting 2 of the stars! They were really nice, fast, and efficient. All younger people so that was nice and refreshing to see younger kids actually care about their jobs! One star was for the soda machine they had, many options to choose from, and the mozzarella sticks. The food lacked flavor. All of it. The food came out warm, not hot at all. The meatball sub was all one texture. The bread needed to be baked or atleast some toasting on it. Secondly the meatballs were like mush. It was not a vibe. My buddies food was warm(ER) but still not acceptable. We had to put chilli and pepper all over the food for flavor. I appreciated the fresh grated cheese they served though. I would come back but not get the same stuff again at all. If I can recommend toasting the bread, that would be great to implement that. Mozzarella sticks had ALOT of potential but it was also just warm, barely any cheese pull. Will definitely give it another shot especially with the service, very nice group of workers you got there! It's very comparable to fazolis. If you've ever had. Drive thru Italian food. read more

The fastest pasta restaurant on earth. An attractive dining room with comfortable booths and plenty of seating. It also has a drive through. I enjoyed my spaghetti and meatball combo and the price was very reasonable for a good sized helping of pasta with a Caesar salad and a fountain drink. It even included a small piece of garlic bread. The meat sauce is a bit thin, but delicious. The service was very fast and quite friendly. I'll be back for sure. read more

Presto has good (cheap) selections. We love and enjoy coming here EXCEPT tonight (3/16/23)... I asked my husband to get me Spaghetti with meatballs since I was craving it (pregnant).. My friends and I tried this place for a casual birthday dinner and I loved it! The employees were so friendly and nice and we got our food super quickly. The atmosphere inside is really nice and cute and they even had little cola bottles of real flowers at each table. Definitely will visit again! read more

I ordered take out for my first try. The employees were very nice & friendly but the food was of poor quality! The fried artichoke appetizer was dry, greasy & tasteless, the shrimp scampi dish was overpowering with garlic all over, the basil was dried out & not fresh and the pasta tasted like paste. The cheese pizza with artichoke and basil was dry, lacked flavor, little cheese & the crust tasted like cardboard. So disappointing! I will not return. read more

First time ever coming, stopped to pick up dinner. Everything looked good so we ordered a variety of food. They have a sampler, which has different options so I opted for that. I asked the cashier what I could substitute for the chicken piccata and he told me different options. I chose the tortellini. We ordered everything, waited a while for our food and then left with 2 bags full of food. I know I should've checked that everything was correct but I had starving children and I wanted to get home to feed them. When I pulled everything out I realized my sampler platter was just an order of tortellini; no lasagna, no fettuccine alfredo. To say I was bummed was an understatement. I called and spoke to the manager. He said I would need to bring the order back to get a refund or any type of discount, or the correct food. Mind you, that would have been another 40 minutes there and back. I asked if he could send something for a future visit and he said that would be fine. He took my information and a year later I still haven't received my coupons. The food overall was fine but I'm big on customer service and to be difficult when your employee messes up and then make fake promises, that's not cool at all. I think I'll stick with Olive Garden. It might not be as fast but I know it's good and they have unlimited soup, salad and bread. Come to think of it they're probably just as fast since presto was not at all fast. read more

You can't go wrong with a fast-food type pasta place when you are looking for a quick bite to eat. I actually didn't end up getting pasta because my stomach couldn't handle it after a horrific day of seasickness.... The pear and Gorgonzola salad was very average. It was my first time eating at Presto Pasta, I have to agree with the previous reviews of other customers , the service was great especially by the gentleman who helped me, didn't thought to ask his name, he's the young tall slender fellow, anyways super friendly, helpful, very professional also seems like a hard worker and takes pride in serving customers at Presto Pasta. We truly need more professionals like him in this world. I did mentioned to him as he brought my food to my table and offered to grate Parmigiano cheese, that it felt like a fancy restaurant.
