BUYER BEWARE: In my recent experience, this company was extremely sketchy and threatening. The workers were nice and decent but the owner Danny was a huge problem. We had them come out for a small job at my house, to replace some windows near my door with an old patterned film to a more basic film. I was in the middle of a working day (work from home) and I got called over from one of the workers to see the first half of the job and it was horrible - looked like someone had put a bad sticker on a window and I could see the light coming in from all four sides of sticker. I emphatically told him I was unhappy and then his boss got on the phone and started going on about nonsense how they've been in business for so many years etc etc...just nothing I cared to hear about because I care about my house looking nice and the last thing I wanted was some have baked job done that made it look worse, not better...I told them I wasn't going to pay and that they needed to leave...I guess they didn't want to listen to the "customer" and continued. So when he was finished he brought me back and I said that it was better but just OK and that I would have to replace it completely but that for now it was fine...then I left. I guess my wife signed the job off and gave them a $180 check - turns out the job was $350 (which by the way, for what they did was very overprice). I did not know she had also paid them a $180 deposit so I put a stop payment on the check because I was very clear with them I was unhappy and I was shocked they hadn't offered a discount, which is what any normal, healthy business would do. Anyway, that began the hell - this Danny guy called my wife, emailed her, and called my MOTHER (how he got her number I have no idea) and threatened to sue us, put a mechanics lien on our home, and take us to collections. Keep in mind this is all over $180 DOLLARS of a job that I was emphatically clear I was UNHAPPY with and would need to replace it with a better solution. He also said he had a great legal team and can put liens our house very easily...really makes you wonder how often he has done this. So Danny decided to offer to come back to my house to re-do the job to make us happy and I agreed. Morning of that I get a text from him saying he wants to instead inspect the job, not replace it, in other words come over and argue with me, waste more of my time ... when I said no, come back later to do the job over like we agreed, he again SITED THE LAW and said he has the right to inspect a job under California law, continued to threaten to sue my wife etc...I have never been so unhappy with a person or a company in my life...this Danny guy has no idea what the right thing to do is - a DISCOUNT. Anyways, he has been paid, when I told him I was going to write a bad review he again brought up the law and said he was keeping our texts and that I would be subject to a LIABLE AND SLANDER lawsuit against me if anything said was false...that is a threat....I mean think about it, he threatened me because I told him I was going to write a bad review which he absolutely deserves...BE VERY AWARE OF THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY ! Also, know that you are getting a sticker on your glass that is anything but perfect, if you want it to look good just get frosted glass, this solution is not good at least for what we wanted (something good...) UPDATE: Just saw Danny response and it is exactly what I am angry about...so many false statements in there. First off, I told them to stop when they were half way done with the job, not all the way done...they had done one window and I asked them to leave and yes I was very unhappy. Secondly, he said it was $100 to just show up and I said I would give him $50...that is when he had a convo with his staff I was unaware of and then had them continue to do the work, and my assumption was they would give us a discount. I did not sign off on the work, I told the guy I was fine with it as a temp job - it is true they went to my wife, without me being there, and had her sign something and write a check...keep in mind she had been in her office all morning working so had no idea what was going on. Also, he emailed my wife, called her and called my mom or father all within the same day or two and when I called him back I had no idea at that time he had called my mother. We have an 8 month old and work. He did agree to come back and fix the work and we scheduled a time, then he is the one who changed it the morning of and said he was not going to fix the work until he came and saw the Job that was done - ALL OF THIS FOR $180 . Lastly, he uses the word slander which is insane because everything I am saying is true and happened...he is the one who has slandered me by saying I never intended to pay him, complete the job and have done this to people in the past - all of which is a lie and has no basis - he is making assumptions about me. Remember, I was the customer. GL with him read more

I am a local interior designer and worked for the first time with Prestige Window Solutions in July 2018 for an install for Pure Smiles South Bay, a Pediatric Biological Dental Practice. As this was my first time using a company to install decorative film I went to my trusted source, Yelp for referrals and reviews and did my homework. I was not disappointed! The installation was beautiful! Please feel free to check it out and visit Pure Smiles South Bay, I think its a credit to Prestige Window Solutions work! I was so impressed with Danny's responsiveness to my initial request for a bid and for his knowledge of the product. Danny was competitive in his pricing, exuded passion for his business and his obvious customer care won him the bid. Its easy to judge a business when everything goes smoothly but sometimes things don't quiet fall into place, these are the moments that define, a company. Danny went above and beyond to resolve an issue not of his doing but a flaw in the product (film) specified for a high traffic area that was not going to hold up as intended. Danny worked with vendor to rectify, we received new product and he uninstalled and re-installed the film. Thank you for going above and beyond and for my beautiful portfolio of work! read more

I don't give 5 stars lightly. I have one large window and two normal size windows that get sun all day long. My house would get VERY hot. I sent Danny a text through yelp - with pictures. He responded pretty quick- made an appointment to come see them and give me a quote. We set a time - he was even early. Danny has great energy. I have a no shoes in my house rule- he had no problem with that as many others do. He gave me a price - broke it down in case I wanted to do two windows separately. I wasn't sure if one of them should have it. He explained everything in detail and without being in a rush. He offered to put a strip on that window - for me to "test" it. To see how it looked at night from the street - because I wanted to see how tinted it looked. He told me - "when I come back to do the big window - you can let me know what you decide". I loved how he was no pressure.I set up an appointment time for the next week. I tested the strip out and decided to go for it. Sent him a personal text - he responded and we will connect the following week. He came again - on time and prepared - when coming in he noticed my screen door had an issue - he went and got a tool out of his car and came and fixed it !!! Yea !!! To me that's going a step further and showed he's about the client and not the hustle. He came in did all three windows - he was very good about cleaning up his mess - and wiping up after himself. He explained I might have some bubbles that work themselves out- he showed me where there were imperfections in the glass so,I would know it's not the tint. After I paid him - he gave a receipt and also said no cleaning for 30-60 days. At about 2 weeks he sent a text (that is how I like to communicate) asking how everything was - he said he would come back if there was anything that I was unsatisfied with. I told him so far it looks great! Well, that was over two months ago that he came. I will say it was a A+ experience with him - I would HIGHLY recommend him for the job and I will be having him come back out to my house to tint more windows because it has dropped the temp in my house about 10* when it gets hot. Also- I do not know him and he is NOT related to me in any way. He's just a great guy with impeccable business skills that deserves as much business as possible. You will not be dissatisfied! My windows look great and I did NOT have any issues at all. Great Job!! read more

I was very impressed with Danny's work ethic and responsiveness. It was a pleasure speaking with someone who answered all my questions clearly and communicated every step. I would hire him again without hesitation and will definitely recommend him. I originally called in July-August because I have all west facing windows with a beautiful ocean view. I wanted to protect my carpets, wood floors and art without obscuring the view and something that would help cool the room. He helped me choose the perfect film. I don't even notice the film, but really notice the lack of glare and that the room is cooler. Thank you so much Danny. read more

Great experience, from the office staff to the salesperson to the professional and courteous installers. And they were sensitive to my germ exposure issues (I'm immune suppressed), which I really appreciated. Windows look great, glare reduced significantly. read more

My 10' wide living room sliding glass patio door faces west in the hot west San Fernando Valley and generates a lot of heat requiring my AC to kick into overdrive. My kitchen also faces east and gets intense morning sun from late spring though early fall. Daniel and his team were prompt and professional when they showed up on time to install the 3M film which made an immediate impact. I can keep the draperies drawn back to enjoy the view without worrying about the heat and sun damage to my wood floors, furniture and art. The savings on my electric bill cannot be overestimated. I highly recommend Daniel and Prestige Window Solutions. read more

I waited a few days from my install before writing this review. Danny arrived promptly both during our initial consultation and install date. He was very friendly and easy to talk to answering all my questions and pointing me in the right direction for the best choice of film for my application. On install day he got straight to work install the window tint film, work was very well done and left work area clean. Windows look excellent and no issues so far. read more

Danny did a fantastic job on our window tinting. Our apartment was like an oven with all the sun and glare entering through the windows. We were running the air conditioning almost 24 hours a day with little improvement. And leaving the curtains open had so much glare. Having tinting applied to the sliding doors and one regular window was a game changer. The difference was instant. If you are considering tinting your home or apartment windows, it's a great idea, and look no further than Prestige Window Solutions. read more

This was an absolutely wonderful experience! Danny matched us with the perfect product to protect our art from UV rays and excessive heat coming from a window at the top of a 15 foot wall. He overnighted a sample and had an installation scheduled within days. Josh the installer was prompt, personable, and a perfectionist. The window looks amazing. I can't recommend Danny and his proactive team enough. read more

Can't say enough good things about Danny, his prices, and quality of work. We have high ceilings and double decker windows. It was too difficult to cover the upper windows with coverings so we opted for a tint. Danny recommended the perfect tint to keep out glare and excessive light while brining a softer natural light in. His team was courteous and professional upon installation, and his prices were very competitive and fair. He had a quick turn around time as well and was able to order our tint and set up an installation fairly quickly. Prestige Window Solutions is hands down the best window tinting service in Los Angeles. I look forward to working with Danny on future homes when the time comes. read more

Last August, the afternoon sun was coming in our windows so bright and hot that we couldn't sit in the living room until sundown. This year, after Danny installed his recommended window film, we can live in that room again. I waited this long to post my review, because I wanted to compare August to August. I can say for sure, Danny's promise that the film would make a huge difference is absolutely true. As far as my husband and I are concerned, he is a trustworthy professional who knows what he's talking about. We give him the highest rating. read more

Danny did an amazing job of installing our window film!! If you are having any issues with direct sun, glare and heat coming through your windows, Danny is your guy. He did a very professional job and was easy to work with. He showed us samples of the tints so we could choose the best film for the glare we were having. He was very prompt, precise and worked quickly. Now we have a great view and can enjoy it comfortably from our cool apartment thanks to Danny! read more

Danny did an outstanding job installing a protection film on our large view window. I explained to him over the phone that I wanted something that was clear but would cut down on the UV that was damaging our wall art. Danny brought several samples of tint shading and explained the UV, heat and light protection provided by each. He also had my selection and size with him and he consulted, installed and was out in less than 90 minutes! Neat, professional and extremely pleasant. It has been a week now and the film is beautiful and smooth. read more

Danny was terrific. Very knowledgeable and very, very pleasant. I highly recommend Prestige Window Solutions.

Danny returned my call for an estimate the same day. We set the appointment for the estimate. Danny arrived ahead of time. Before, any measurements were taken, Danny explained in greater detail his products and what they would accomplish. He placed the samples (against the windows), then asked if I wanted to proceed. No hard sell, whatsoever. On the day of install (June 19), Danny arrived ahead of time and went straight to work. No interruptions. No side trips to hardware stores. Just straight installation. Danny reviewed, with me, the 1st window completed -- to make sure I was satisfied. He then proceeded to complete the job. Total time for the install (7 windows - 2-story home): 3 1/2 hours. One final inspection/review -- room-by-room -- and the clean-up. My windows look great. The rooms are indeed cooler (especially west-facing). I'm extremely satisfied with the work/product. I highly recommend Danny and Prestige Windows Solutions! read more
