I often book 7 or 8 seat taxis, and cars that can take a wheelchair, and they never let me down, they always have the vehicle I require available. My wages are paid directly into my bank, but these guys even take debit and credit card payment in the taxis, which means I no longer have to go via a cashpoint. I have just opened an E-book account with them via their website, which is free and means I can now book a taxi online, which is cool, I dont know of any other company that offers this service.

At the end of the castle tour, my sister became extremely unwell and we called Martin back to pick us up. At the time, we thought he would just take us back to the bus station. However, he agreed he would take us all the way back to Edinburgh (and he hauled a$$)!! He went out of his way to help us and we greatly appreciate him! He literally was a God send for us that day. But it's not easy to get to Alnwick by train since the closest station is Alnmouth. Yellow Taxi to the rescue! We left it rather late but we called Yellow Taxi from the station we were traveling from and he was there waiting for us at the station. In addition to taking us to the castle we arranged a pick up from a different site later in the same day. He also gave us great advice on places to eat and visit while we were in the town, there is more than just the castle! We had a lovely day in Alnwick and Yellow Taxi really made the experience.
