I often book 7 or 8 seat taxis, and cars that can take a wheelchair, and they never let me down, they always have the vehicle I require available. My wages are paid directly into my bank, but these guys even take debit and credit card payment in the taxis, which means I no longer have to go via a cashpoint. I have just opened an E-book account with them via their website, which is free and means I can now book a taxi online, which is cool, I dont know of any other company that offers this service.

First time using this company and most definitely the last. I Booked a taxi last night and they…read moresent a big bus for me (10 seater I think), which I didn't mind if that's all they had available. The taxi fare was more than double the cost of other firms I have used and when I asked the driver why, he said it was because I was in a minibus and not a car. I tried to explain to him that I only booked a car as there was only me traveling and did not request a minibus. He said that it didn't matter, I should of refused to get in when he arrived to pick me up. I was fuming, but I reluctantly paid him the fare. I then rang another Taxi firm in the area and asked them the rules around this kind of thing and they told me that I had been ripped off and should report it to the council. So I did just that this morning, and was told off them that he had broke the law by overcharging me as I did not request anything other than a taxi. They said they would deal with the matter and would contact me when they had. So a word of warning, this company ripped me off and in my opinion would not think twice about doing it again to someone else. I would strongly recommend staying clear of this company! The only reason I rang these in the first place is because the company I normally use (Aura Taxis) where busy and had nothing available for the time I needed it. But in future I will stick with Aura even if I have to wait a while until they have a taxi available.

At the end of the castle tour, my sister became extremely unwell and we called Martin back to pick us up. At the time, we thought he would just take us back to the bus station. However, he agreed he would take us all the way back to Edinburgh (and he hauled a$$)!! He went out of his way to help us and we greatly appreciate him! He literally was a God send for us that day. But it's not easy to get to Alnwick by train since the closest station is Alnmouth. Yellow Taxi to the rescue! We left it rather late but we called Yellow Taxi from the station we were traveling from and he was there waiting for us at the station. In addition to taking us to the castle we arranged a pick up from a different site later in the same day. He also gave us great advice on places to eat and visit while we were in the town, there is more than just the castle! We had a lovely day in Alnwick and Yellow Taxi really made the experience.
