Dial-A-Car is a small local taxi firm that usually serves the Bedlington area but can also be called out to surrounding local towns such as Morpeth, Blyth, Cramlington or Ashington. They can also be booked in advance to drive people further distances such as Newcastle. I use the firm frequently locally and have also booked them to get to the city airport.

The office is manned by a helpful staff member who has a polite tone and a clear voice. When you order a taxi the staff member asks for your name and telephone number. They also establish when and where you want to be picked up and where dropped off. The staff member repeats this information to you to avoid mistakes.
I have found that the taxis are always on time and they will often beep their horns to alert you of their presence. The actual cars are clean and well looked after. It is a comfortable ride.
There are a couple of familiar taxi drivers who will talk to you if you wish to do so. Their manner is polite and cheery. Their driving skills are excellent and you can rest assured in their hands that it is a safe journey.
