They can also be booked in advance to drive people further distances such as Newcastle. I use the firm frequently locally and have also booked them to get to the city airport. The company can be reached via telephone by the very easy to remember telephone number: Tel: 01670 828888 The office is manned by a helpful staff member who has a polite tone and a clear voice. When you order a taxi the staff member asks for your name and telephone number. They also establish when and where you want to be picked up and where dropped off. The staff member repeats this information to you to avoid mistakes. I have found that the taxis are always on time and they will often beep their horns to alert you of their presence. The actual cars are clean and well looked after. It is a comfortable ride. There are a couple of familiar taxi drivers who will talk to you if you wish to do so. Their manner is polite and cheery. Their driving skills are excellent and you can rest assured in their hands that it is a safe journey. My first choice of taxi cab company in Bedlington.

joke of a taxi firm booked on their app over 2 hours before I need the taxi only to get a message…read more15 mins before pick up to say the booking had been canceled. calmed them abs was told they were fully booked no apology and told the app should have sent me a message. Says they'd been fully booked for hours so why did the app accept my booking. phoned border line and got a taxi sorted. will not be using this firm in future only ever used them because they had an app which made it easy but clearly it does not.

Ordered a taxi at 7pm for 11:05pm a 6 seater for myself and my party including my 70 year old…read moremother and father was informed yeah no problem. The problem with this firm started at 11:01pm when I was informed that they were running late by text. 11:05 I telephoned to progress chase taxi this firm said they would send a taxi when available. 11:15 I telephoned again to progress chase this firm said still no taxis I asked for 2 normal cars instead of 1 6 seater the person on the phone informed that a normal car was dropping off on Plessey Road and would be there shortly (around 5 mins from there to where I was) well at least some of us could get away. Phoned up 10 minutes later to be informed that they would send a taxi when they had 1 (been lied to when they said a car would be there to pick us up from Plessey Road) another 10mins passed and 2 people of my party had to phone their daughter to come and pick them up. Myself my elderly mother and father however walked home in the rain at 11:50. My best advice would be either avoid or get your walking shoes on
