After wasting time and $ on a BULLSHIT install from the stupid Swap Shop that sounded like complete trash ... I decided to search for a well established & reviewed installer ..and despite a couple. Of bad notes from some people who actually never even met with Terrance I decided to try to have my evaluation and quote and I did. ... and I will tell you Terrance is 80% of the times a one man operation. SO it is WHY HE can be busy at times! Just gotta be patient ...& although it took a little longer than I expected Specially when I decided to squeeze in a radio install last minute as well.. I really don't get all the 5 star reviews here, which is what I based my decision to use this business on. First of all, It is close to impossible to reach this business by phone, but after several attempts, I was finally able to reach Terrence. I had a fairly straight forward job that I wanted to have done, which was to replace the front and rear speakers in my vehicle. I went by the shop for an estimate, received a quote, and an appointment to have the installation done the next day. This was not a convenient time for me, however I agreed after planning to cancel a planned event. I wanted to be sure that this appointment was going to be kept, so I attempted 6 times to reach the business to be positive that this was definitely set. In the end I left a voicemail requesting a call back to confirm. Crickets. The next day, I went to the shop at the appointed time, only to be greeted with a confused look, and was told that my voicemail was not received (Quote: I am not good at checking messages. My phone has been ringing all day, and I haven't been answering). At this point, after having canceled my event, needless to say, I was not pleased. I was told that he would try to "fit me in" the next day, which I had rescheduled my event for. I was told that I would receive a phone call the next day by noon to confirm. Well, if he hadn't checked my message, suffice to say that he didn't have my phone number. I asked if this might be helpful. (!!). At this point, no lie, he wrote my name and number on a **box of parts** sitting on a desk. Can anyone guess what happened next? I did not cancel my event, and went on as planned, unwilling to destroy another day waiting around for nothing, and sure enough, I never received a phone call. What a shocker! Based on the reviews, I suppose he is a great installer if he ever gets around to you, which in my case, did not happen. Highly unprofessional, disorganized, and seemingly indifferent. Terrace helped me install a line out converter to two amps and a battery, he also helped me trouble shoot a few problems I was having with my system. Well, how could you not like a guy named Terrence - even if he spells it with an extra "r" ? His polite and welcoming phone demeanor helped me decide he was the one to install the powered subwoofer I had bought for my daughters Mini Countryman "Tolula" for Xmas, but never got around to installing. We schedule a weekend visit and, although it took longer than expected, Terence stuck with the job that was more challenging than he anticipated. I found Prestige Sounds through the web and read some favorable reviews. I called and made an appointment to have my Fiat 124 Spiders' speakers replaced with a set I purchased at BestBuy. The owner Terrance asked me to bring the car in the next day and was very pleasant to talk to. He installed the 2 speakers that same day and did a great job: they sound great and the install looks factory done: that's exactly what I wanted: an invisible install! I was so pleased, I asked Terrance if he could install GPS Trackers in my Turo cars and he installed 3 of them in 3 vehicles: perfect invisible installs and at a fair price.
