It has been sitting outside on Sean's property collecting dust and debris for over four months. Sean originally took on this project and told us that if he got backed up, Jay would step in to help get the car up and running. We were completely fine with that. However, without any clear communication, we suddenly found ourselves dealing only with Jay. Communication since then has been terrible. We receive no updates unless my husband repeatedly calls, texts, and pushes for answers. Each time we are told additional money is needed for parts or labor, my husband immediately withdraws the funds and pays them. In December, we were told an additional $2,000 was needed for labor just to get started. My husband withdrew the $2,000 and paid it, and we were told that would cover the remaining labor. Since then, nothing has been done. No labor. No progress. No updates. All the parts needed to rebuild the entire front end are there. The car has not been touched. Now we are getting the runaround. Jay does not respond to calls or texts, and Sean claims he has nothing to do with it -- yet the vehicle is still sitting on Sean's property, and Sean is the one who originally took on the project before passing it off. At this point, this feels like a complete scam. We have documentation, text messages, proof of payments, and photos posted on their Facebook page. This situation is beyond unacceptable. We do not recommend Sean or Jay for any projects in the Gwinnett, Winder, or Barrow County areas. We are prepared to pursue legal action to resolve this matter. This has been 100% ridiculous and completely unprofessional.

To say I wasn't in the mood to be haggled on on labor was an understatement, and I had already braced myself for another unpleasant experience. Chris and Nick were kind, patient, and spent a great deal of time looking at my vehicle with me. They didn't have a "salesy" tactic that we all dread when going to a body shop. I drive a 2016 Ford Fusion that I bought brand new. Unfortunately, a leak in my trunk caused my trunk and back seats to flood with water as it rained heavy the night before. Before agreeing to any work, they refereed me back to the Ford dealership to see if i could get the issue fixed under warranty. Chris and Nick were looking out for my interest and I appreciate that. I went to the Ford dealership hoping they could help, considering the issue isn't a result of an accident. My mileage was 36,020 on my odometer. Ford told me there is nothing they could do under warranty because I was over 36,000 miles. ONLY 20 miles over! They wanted to charge an egregious labor price so I left. I returned to Specialty Paint & Body after leaving Ford upset. While visiting Specialty Paint & Body and working with Chris and Nick, I was treated like a friend. We were able to quickly diagnose the leak and they were able to fix it. The attention to detail and customer service that I experienced was non-comparable to any body shop I have ever been to in the past. I will absolutely be coming back for all my body shop needs.
