Come to find out it was the wrong Wheaton terrier! They had sent my dog home with some one else who they had to call and come back with my dog! If I had not caught that right away, I would have had to wrong dog over night and my dog with strangers overnight bc they were closing. I called to talk with the owner (BETH) the next day, she apologized and said he could get a free spa treatment next time. I was under the impression that meant a free grooming. Dropped him off today expecting them to make right the huge mistake last time. WRONG......I was stilled charged $86 today and come to find out "spa package" is $10. When I got home I called to discuss my dissatisfaction. Beth cut me off mid sentence and I was told my dog was not harmed, they had no AC in their shop today and it was 90 degrees there and I should feel free to take my business else. My response, "oh you bet your ass I will" and then she hung up on me! I don't know who uses this poorly run Business but not only did they make a huge mistake and basically did nothing to compensate but they are extremely rude! Bye bye Miss Anderson

We tried one other that seemed ok but you know when sometimes something just feels off? So I asked & our vet recommended Silver Maple instead...best thing ever. My first glimpse of how genuinely they care for our dogs was how nicely he goes in (tail is still down but he readily goes in after being greeted like Norm from Cheers). One time he got sick just before our Xmas vacation. He had only been on his meds for 2days before I had to drop him off but they have their system down to a science. It's simple but it's one they are clear on so there are no mistakes. Pam even called me to tell me she found throw up in his crate but wondered if giving him his meds with food would be less caustic & help him feel better...thoughtful & considerate problem solver & diplomatically explained! During that same boarding we were snowed in on the mountains in CO & couldn't get back on time. Not only did Pam accommodate but she also made sure he had enough of his meds. She genuinely loves animals & will go to bat for them. Communication & planning is key. If you'll be traveling over the holidays, book early. Always pack extra food & Rx in case it gets dropped or don't pack enough food. They took a Chewy delivery of food bc I stupidly didn't count out the correct numbers of cans. Cost-wise, we have found it to be very much worthwhile bc we absolutely know he's in good hands. To Pam, Mallory, Amanda, Lindsey & all the others I've not had the pleasure of meeting, you make Silver Maple a success & I thank you for taking such loving care of our Dexter.

I loved Ann for many years. My dogs (and I've brought multiple) have been going to Ann since 2010…read more I have lived in multiple areas around St. Louis throughout the years and no matter where I lived or how inconvenient it was for me, I chose Ann. My dogs loved her and trusted her and thoroughly got excited to see her every few months when we went. I called Ann yesterday to schedule another appointment and when she returned my call today she told me she decided to drop my dogs as clients. Her "reason" was because I'm too far (currently in St.Charles) and that I could have an accident bringing them to her....um what? First of all I'm pretty sure that's my prerogative and if I'm supporting your business why would you care? Second of all I have lived in St.Charles for almost 5 years and she has never once had an issue about my drive there (although when I brought this up, she claimed she's always had an issue but just chose not to say anything). Now, because of location and work schedules and her hours there, there were times where I'd have to bring two of them at a time (with her approval) and she would knock them both out in one day. Because of the distance I wouldn't go back home but I would to sit or keep busy in south county until they were finished. Long day for her?? Yes, but, for me too. I get up at 3am for work and would even leave work a half hour/hour early to rush home, grab my dogs, and book it to keep our appointment, and then sit in my car or something for HOURS and tired as hell from my long day all just so she could be the one to take care of my pups. If that's not loyalty from a client/customer I don't know what is. Did she stay late for me to do this? Yes, and when she did I would tip her even to show my appreciation for all that she did. Was it always like this? Not until recently in the past year or so. Did she ever tell me there was an issue with this? No. Not once. Every few months that we would talk to schedule the next appointment not once did she tell me she had an issue. If she did I would've sucked it up and only brought one at a time because I respected and appreciated her and her business. I don't think she is truly being honest with me for the reason she is dropping me and my dogs and that's hurtful. For all the referrals, all the dollars and years spent believing in someone and their business. I would get shit all the time from my loved ones about how ridiculous it is to go to a groomer so far out, but I wanted to remain loyal to her. I would love to give her a five star review because her work is awesome, but she has shitty hours that are constantly changing and has no respect or appreciation for the clients that have helped keep her small ass grooming room afloat. I even asked if it was because she didn't like my dogs or me and she rudely just said , " nope you're just too far and I don't want to deal with it anymore." Like she was the one using the gas and being majorly inconvenienced?? I'm very disappointed and hurt by her actions.

I was told on my last visit 9/8 my groomer was fully booked, when I asked for another groomer I was told they were booked as well . The reception advised me she would check with each groomer and see if they could squeeze me in. I was never given a reason why both groomers were booked solid seven weeks from 9/8. After waiting more than 24 hours without a call back I sent a text message. I received a call 9/10 stating they had no record of a text or email from me requesting an appt. Needless to say that call was confusing, so I called the reception who was rude, sarcastic, and continuously talked over me. she finally advisedthe reason the two groomers were booked was due to one of the groomers being out on maternity leave. If I was told that up front I would have understood. Instead the receptionist continue to speak to me as rudely as possible. I ended the call and said I do not know what to say. Due to the receptionist's behavior I will not ever go back to Heritage grooming. This all could have been avoided if the receptionist had just said we are fully booked because we have a groomer out on leave. Instead she was nasty, rude, and tried making excuses for her behavior.
