I called to confirm they were open and able to receive the package. This was a legitimate question. I didn't have to call in advance last time they received a ffl item for me. When I explained that, they told me they will refuse the delivery now and to have the item shipped somewhere else. Refusing to accept a customer's already-shipped transfer item out of spite because they didn't like how the conversation ended is not professionalism, it's retaliation. Exercising this option reflects poorly on how they handle conflict and customer relationships.
