Hugo and his wife were a pleasure to work with. I had an Indian tapestry that I bought for my mom in Abu Dhabi, and I didn't want just anyone to handle mounting and framing it. It took several weeks, as the frame, and materials I chose all had to be ordered from different places, but it was totally worth the wait! Their attention to detail is amazing. They did not want to use glue on my piece, because they didn't want to damage it, so they used pins to mount the tapestry. They painted each pin gold so it would look like part of the beading!! It looks wonderful, and I will definitely be using their services again. If you're looking for great quality work, and attention to detail, I recommend Prestige Framers. I was hoping to find a framer on the beach, but I only found one on Yelp with suspicious review record. I found Prestige Framers and gave them a call. I spoke to Hugo who I believe is the sole proprietor. It was Friday end of day and I was in a rush. He offered me to come in Saturday (Saturday is appt only). I was unable to so he said he would call me when he got in first thing Monday morning. Sure enough Monday morning, he gave me a ring. Not only was Hugo very professional, but very friendly and skilled at his work. I went in Monday, and he was there with a tribal African necklace. My family photograph felt somewhat insignificant next to this, but he treated it with the same respect and care. First, we discussed how the photo would be laid out. The photo was in a paper frame from 1947. We decided to split the paper frame and display three vertical rectangles. Then came choosing a frame. I was intimidated by the vast selection of frames, but then Hugo pulled down 6 from the wall that all matched wonderfully. My only choice then was style and matching the room decor. Hugo was very consultative while stilling imparting his expertise. As I mentioned, it was a rush. I needed it for that Friday. Hugo called the frame company on the spot to ensure the frame was in stock. He called me Thursday late afternoon as soon as it was complete. When I went to pick up the frame, Hugo had a serendipitous surprise for me. My husband and I had been debating the date of the photo. While Hugo was separating the paper frame and photo, he found the date printed on the border of the photo; May 3 1947. The date he was handing this to me was May 3, 2013. Since this was really quite special and I was presenting this as a gift later that day, Hugo made a sticker copy of the photo and attached it to the back of the frame as the date did not show when framed. Hugo went way above and beyond to make this a special experience for us. I could go on for a while longer, but bottom-line is I highly recommend Prestige Framers for their excellent framing, professionalism, and warm personalities. read more

They were not only extremely friendly, but were passionate about their craft. They would have stopped at nothing to make sure I was 100% satisfied. When I returned to pick up the framed art, I couldn't have been more pleased. Both frames were even better than I could have imagined. I didn't think it would be possible for both frames to be the same size since the 2 pieces of artwork were different sizes, but Hugo pulled it off.
