I arrived with eyelashes but not so much so she told me she needed to take them off so I though ok but I didn't have so many and she charged me the same if I had the complete eyes full which start no so cool for me but ok I just wanted my eyelashes. I told her: "please something natural but still curly " she took her time, I felt a little burn in some moment and sometimes I felt she could be a little nicer telling me the instructions... No big deal, still wasn't completely comfortable for me. Knowing I have to pay 175 I was ready to wait whatever I had to for the eyelashes and I said to her : " how long will be" she said 2 hours and in one point she told me because you arrived at 2:30 which wasn't was exactly like that I couldn't find her spot so I called her and I was for a while trying to find her, she went out with her car to see where I was but took me a while because the spot is difficult to see. Anyways we found each other after all, but she trying to say that in the first time ..make me no her client after because I rather to feel more comfortable when someone attend me. She wasn't rude but I think she could handle the situation better. The most important (my eyelashes) at the end I saw them and was like I didn't have anything.The eyelashes looked almost like mine .. was so disappointed. I know I said natural but no until that point that you can't see any difference. She tried to changed it putting me at the end of the eye some eyelashes longer and looked a little better but still I didn't feel happy with the result. Was expensive and no so worth it for me. I put stars because she tried to be nice and because she took a while doing it but I didn't like the result at all and every day when I see them I like less. I've had eyelashes 4 times and this one has been the less I've liked. Has been one week and I have lost a lot of eyelashes. This never happen to me before. While she was applying the color, I mentioned that it looked orange/red and asked if my hair was going to turn that color. She reassured me it wouldn't, but my hair ended up bright red. I was there from 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM, then had to return at 8:00 AM the next morning for her to correct it. Unfortunately, the correction left my hair dark burgundy and still red. I ultimately had to go to Serenity Salon and pay again to have my hair completely corrected. I understand color results can vary, but I repeatedly communicated NO red/orange through text and in person and unfortunately received exactly what I asked to avoid. I lost hours over two days, spent additional money, and had to put my hair through more processing because of this. Very disappointing experience. I went in thinking I was going to have my dream hair for wedding and birthday next month but this was something else. Thank goodness for serenity's professionals. After everything that happened with my hair, I reached out to the salon owner because I felt she should be aware of my experience at her salon. Shortly afterward, the stylist contacted me directly and told me that because she rents there, I needed to deal with her and told me not to "sit there and complain" to the owner. I found this extremely unprofessional and honestly disturbing. As a paying customer, I should be able to contact the owner of the salon where I received my service without receiving a confrontational message afterward. I was simply trying to address my concerns after an already upsetting experience with my hair. The way my complaint was handled made the entire situation even more uncomfortable and disappointing. I was also advised that other stylists were laughing at my situation by another friend that went there mentioning to do voodoo doll on me. Regardless of whether she intended it as a joke, after everything that happened with my hair and the way this situation was handled, I did not find that funny at all. Truly disgusting behavior my hair was completely ruined and I have to wait years to ever touch it again.

I go for a trim + treatment with a blowout for under $100. (My hair is much thicker than pictures convey) Val makes you feel so welcome as I was nervous just reaching out via her ig: hairmagicbyval but I'm glad I did. Val washing my hair is something I look forward to as I can't get that relaxed anywhere else I love it! You can almost fall asleep in the private wash area. Love Val my sister does too!
