do not go here. i get a car wash almost every week and was looking for a place by work to sign up for the monthly package. the car wash ripped off the lining of my roof as you see in the photos. no one even said anything and i didn't notice until i got back to work. i paid for a platinum(top level wash) that was supposed to include minor interior vacuum and center console wipe, they did not wipe anything inside. they didnt vacuum anything besides the front seat mats. they had a homeless person sitting in the waiting area yelling and cursing at all the people waiting for their cars as well. i will be seeking compensation for the damages to my vehicle. i will update this review as well with whatever they do or don't do to fix this. absolute 0/10 i would avoid this place at all costs. read more

Only washes outside of the car defeats the whole point of a carwash. They don't mention they don't clean the inside until you already paid. This was a waste of time and money and will never go back here unless I'm washing a bike. Clean car on the outside But that's it. Now I have to find a place where they only clean inside the car, complete waste. read more

Excellent car wash, my car comes out mint with the diamond deal $50 a month for endless washes, I average 2 washes a week,I like my Cadillac looking good the way it should be. Just wish they did interior detailing but the Vacs are free so it's a good deal all around... hope they don't raise the prices like everything else that's going up with inflation. read more

TERRIBLE!! AVOID AT ALL COST!! I went in for a wash with my ZL1 camaro. When I entered I ask is my car ok to go in because I have thicker tires and a high wing. The manager said I will be fine and instructed me to enter. Even when I got stuck 3 times he continued to instruct me to go forward. Half way in my car got stuck and I had to drive out. My wing was torn off and destroyed my rims were scratched up and my car still had soap and wax all over it. The manager tried to tell me I was on the break or not in neutral, like I've never been in a car wash before. He claimed the owner would call me to resolve the issue, and it been a week and I haven't heard from them. Terrible business ppl with terrible attitudes. Go to the hand wash by whit castle much better ppl n service. read more

DO NOT GO TO PRESTIGE AUTO WASH. None of their locations. The most laziest, fraud "detailing" centers I've ever seen. Yesterday I went to go get my complimentary quick detail. I got a complimentary detail because when I went months ago, they did such a terrible job that the manager comped me. So yesterday I went back because my car needed to be spruced, and usually I do it myself but I didn't feel like getting sweaty. I am VERY thorough and I like my car very clean. So I go there and I get the "Xpress wax" which is a $55 CAR WASH. They don't wipe our interior They didn't vacuum my trunk (I have a Jeep) They didn't TOUCH. TOUCH the top of the car He didn't think I would check the top of my car. I asked him "did you do the top?" He said no, and had this dumb look on his face because he didn't think I would step in my door to check the top. My car is white. There was tree sap ALL OVER my top. He started wiping it with the towel and said it wouldn't come out. I got my armor all wipes out of my trunk storage and was able to wipe it off. So you know if he didn't wipe the top of my car, he didn't wax it ‍. So there I am, wiping my interior and him working on the top, both of us, CLEANING MY CAR after a $55 "car wash and wax service" They don't do for 55 what you can get somewhere else for $10. read more

DO NOT ENTER THE CARWASH. The employees know of some sort of malfunction going on within the carwash pass way, that is breaking off side mirrors to peoples cars. Yet this is known and has not been fixed. They continue to let customers through without their knowledge that their car can be damaged. DO NOT ENTER THE CARWASH. read more

Don't even waste your time or money. What kind of car wash place doesn't do interior cleaning????? I paid for the best car wash package and once I got home I realized that the car was still filthy. Dirt patches everywhere. I had to spot clean myself. What a waste. read more

I've been to this location before. I don't go often so I never wanted to get their monthly subscriptions. Because I don't go often, when I do go, I get the whole works. A full detail. They always do a pretty good job and I tip very nicely Well today I decided to go ( Columbus Day) and I asked for a platinum wash which is about $25.00 incl tax. It doesn't have all the trimmings, but enough to make my ride look like new and make me feel good. The wash was great, but the clean up and finishing touches crew sucked!!! Before, they usually had some real energetic, hard working young men who got the job done. Now they have a couple of young girls/ladies barely putting any effort into wiping down or cleaning the mirrors and windows. I watched while seated outside to see how well of a job they were doing and I wish that I hadn't left a tip. The vacuum job sucked. They didn't go under the seats. The seats can be moved forward and back but from what I saw, it wasn't moved. I asked them if they had cleaned the insides of both the back and front windshield and they replied YES! Well they actually didn't. They lied, because as I said I was watching them from afar. The couple pieces of garbage that was in the car to be disposed of, were not. They just vacuumed around the trash instead of taking it out. The service sucked and the workers sucked even more. It seemed that they may have either changed hands or just fired and hired new people. I don't think the women are doing such a great job and I think I'll take my car someplace else. Just not to another Prestige Auto. They are overpriced & overrated and for the service I got today I'm glad I didn't choose anything else. Find someplace to take your expensive cars. Not worth it. It's quite convenient but you can take your car to the self wash and pay way less. Disgruntled patron read more

An absolute bargain at $32.06/month for unlimited washes. very cordial staff. I was a guinea pig for my company, going there myself at first. As a result, my boss now brings his whole fleet there. There was an unfortunate incident where the conveyor belt caused some cars to collide. they handled it so professionally, cut the check on the spot and gave my co the choice of where to repair it. They are also supporting breast cancer research thru their Babalu organization. A class operation, rock bottom prices for mostly hand wash. they also offer oil changes and detailing. Please support this exceptional business to the Hillside community. -Andrew C, First Class Limousine, Union, NJ read more

Prestige Auto Wash - Car Wash Near Me - Hillside, New Jersey

DONT GO TO THIS CAR WASH OR THEIR OTHER THREE WASHES. YOUR CAR WILL GET BAD SCRATCHES. I have been going to this car wash for about 10 years and use their month plan since it first started. I have a 2018 Escalade and 2016 GL 450 Benz. Last Thursday I went there and when I got home I saw a mark on the drivers side of the hood. I went back on Monday and showed the manager he said impossible. I didn't argue just buffed it out best I could. I went there today when I came out I now have scratches on the drivers side door right below the door handle. These scratches Are short persice and parallel as if a spinning machine dug deep into the paint. The supervisor said wait till she looks at the camera when she returned 20 minutes later she had a smirk on her face and said it didn't happen here. As if I'm looking for a pay off. I insisted the owner call me and no one has even attempted to call with at least a courtesy call. I cancelled my monthly plan for both my expensive cars. Nothing else I can do but that and this review to maybe prevent someone else's car from getting damaged I want everyone to see the scratches on the door of my Cadilac Escalade read more

I took my car there to get the inside clean before my son left the sunroof open and it rain the next day. The wash was 69.00 with another 20.00 for the third row. I got home to find my middle console full of water and dirt between the seat and when I call them about it they told me there was nothing they could do about. A waste of money and bad customer service i wouldn't recommend read more

This place, although I've been getting my car washed here for years, is still struggling on how to wash my car properly. ‍ I don't know what to tell them. Should I help them wash my car, pay for the wash and then tip them too?!? I cannot wait until the new car wash on Chancellor Ave opens up. I'm gonna ghost this place like I never knew it was there. Every now and then, I catch a food truck there and the food is good. That's the only reason this place gets an extra star. read more

**for their 323 Rahway Ave location** Cost: about $112. The good: location is easy to get to. The bad: employees don't listen, are lazy and customer service is deplorable. The Ugly: according to mgmt, it's common for drivers to leave with wet interiors after a full detail. They will promise to do things like: no touch your stuff or put on seat covers. Instead of doing these things, they will stuff all of your stuff into a cheap plastic garbage bags, then throw everything into your trunk. The story: I paid for a full interior/exterior detail at 1pm Friday (and it wasn't busy). At 6pm Friday, the interior was still soaked (think little kids playing in the hose on a hot summer day- soaked). It was so we, that the driver seat was still damp on Sunday Morning. The mildew smell is nasty! All of my stuff had been removed and put into a cheap trash bag, even though I clearly stated multiple times to leave it alone. All stuffed into my trunk. There were white stains all over the exterior, no air freshener, dashboard near the steering wheel was still dirty, and the windows were smeared and streaked. Sn: the whole reason I chose this place is that the manager said they could put on my seat covers- which they never did (and they lost the metal clasps for the backseat cover). There was also damage to my trunk, but they swear they didn't cause it. *side eye* When I tried to resolve it same day with the manager, he was rude, left the premise for 2 hours (until closing), then refused to do anything. He literally turned the lights off around my soror and i. Since then, I have spoken to Pablo to resolve. All he offers is to redo the interior- where I will drive off again with wet seats. And everything else is "up to the owners" who never return calls and says nothing is ever their fault. Never again! Driver beware! read more

Terrible car wash. Paid $14.95 and received a car which still had bird poop on it, and when I pointed it out to the person hand drying the car, she looked at me as if I was inconveniencing her. I also received a significant 8 inch scratch on my rear bumper from their car wash. Never going back. read more

The women are horrible at washing drying or paying attention. one was scratching my car with her freaking nails. If you have light scratches, I promise it came from them. Windows are dirty.. I always have to clean my own car read more

Worst place to go if you need a wash and their time isn't accurate! 6:00 pm means 5:45 or ever 5:30pm to close. To open mean 9:00-9:20am even though it's 8:30am. I got all video . The manger don't even have management skill he works on emotional operation. This is like a third world company. read more

I've always had my oil changes done here and they're super competitive with pricing and the service is always great. I just recently had the inside detailed for $50 (to be complete in 30 mins), not expecting much but I wasn't prepared to spend $200 at other boutique detailers. I was extremely impressed with the quality of service. They definitely spent more that 30 minutes on it and it looks and smells clean. Worth every penny and then some. I will probably never consider a $200 detail job again. read more

Im very disappointed with the way they care for the cars. even though my car was cleaned, I received my car back with the right rear window no Longer operating and scratches on driver rear door. I'm really upset. I asked for seats cleaned and carpet with a wash I was told 120.00$ but once I left the car 40 min later I was told price is 180.00 I would have stuck with the 120 budget that's it. Now i have to spend more money for window and to buff out scratches S.M.H. read more

Good service, feel like it's rushed at times if there's a line but Pablo or the other manager always make sure they get it right. Bern going for about 3 years now. My car still has its shine. If you are very anal about your car, go before or after rush hour read more

Warning don't use. This place is a rip off, in the car wash, any basic mechanical fix and a slimy owner who never mentioned the cost, before the actual work was performed. Bob charged $231.00 for a simple rear brake hose worth $12.00. A copy of the replacement charge, printed by guy behind counter equalled 48 dollars. Owner (Bob) ripped up original and rebilled me for $231.00 read more

First the woman at the meet and greet area was insisting on me getting what she wanted. Second the did a horrible vacuum job. Third they did not wipe down the dash properly.. read more

Full service car wash is $12.95+tax. Came here expecting a hand car wash place but it's not. This is your typical automatic car wash spot. It didn't really clean all the bird poop off the car, car was still wet and visible water marks along the front windshield afterwards. The guy wiping the car down was also on his cell phone while working. This'll do the work for those quick washes but not recommended if you're particular about how your car is cleaned. It's probably only good if they still have the $30+ monthly unlimited wash deals otherwise, go elsewhere. read more

Great car wash! Reasonable monthly rate. Staff is pleasant and took very good care of my car. They even helped with small scratch on my New car at no charge. Will continue to recommend and use. Thank you Presige read more

I just had an oil change and free wash done. My car was pulled from the car wash and my side view mirror was hanging off. The manager claims it was broken before without even doing any research (cameras, asking employees, etc). I am taking legal action. This is my second bad experience. The first being a poorly washed car with visible dirt afterward. I went against my better judgment and gave them a second chance. What a disappointment. I understand no one wants to take blame but to automatically say it didn't happen at their establishment when my car clearly has light blue paint on the door and mirror is despicable. read more

I really really wish I could give them 0 stars ! I've been going to this place for years and they've always washed my car and DETAILED it very nicely , usually w. no complaints . But they've changed management and now they're a load of crap ! I went to get my car detailed because the inside of the car had a bunch of dog hair . I've always gotten my car done by them and they've done a beautiful job at getting the dog hair out , spotless ! This time they took 20 mins and then called and told me my car was ready . Huh ? It usually takes like a hour and 15 mins for my car to be finished . So naturally I was prepared to wait . So I go to pick up my car. . . And there is still dog hair EVERYWHERE ! I asked one of the cleaners "who did my car?" he responds with "I don't know" , I asked another one and he points to the manager. The manager walks over and I ask him who did my car because it's not clean and he says "both of them" . Well somebody needs to get over here and clean the car correctly . There's still dog hair everywhere , there's stains on my dashboard and there's this oil that they slapped all over my car so everywhere you touch your hands get greasy . What the fuck ! Mind you guys , I paid $60 for this shitty job . The managers attitude is very blasé and he says "well I'm going to have to charge you more" I don't think so ! I showed him the grease stains and he shrugs his shoulders and says he needed more time on the car . I told him before I left "next time there is a problem you need to communicate that to your customers" and he shrugs his shoulders and walks away . Btw, the "manager" was a young Hispanic guy who looked like he didn't know what to do with all the cars that come through this place by the min so he rushes every car that comes through. Also , while I was walking out another customer was complaining to him too , so no it wasn't just me. Moral of the story: this place has turned into shit , go somewhere else ! read more

This pace has been great to me. Rain X and other good product. Not using cheap soap like other car washes.

This car wash place was good when it first came to hillside ! The workers were friendly and cleaned the car good ! I know it takes a lot to run a good business and good workers are sometimes hard to find ! But if we are paying monthly we should not have to get talked to any kind of way by management! The customer is always right !!!! When is it appropriate to tell a customer to go somewhere else just because you called the person over to see that the car wasn't wiped out and the back seat was still wet ! Had to ask for my tires to get sprayed ! I left out the fact I had to make my own way out of the parking lot because of the disrespectful lady who works outside I assume as a manager !!! Because we had words she felt it was ok to speak to a customer any kind of way ! I asked about the back seat because I had my grand daughter with me !!! That pissed this lady off when I asked about the back seat getting wiped dry !!!! This is not how you treat people !!!!! Hope the guy who owns this place talks to his staff about courtesy and respect !!!!!! Hillside New Jersey we deserve much more respect I will be writing the mayor of hillside to let her know about this business ! Why my door panels still have footprints on them read more

The ladies that works at the register are not friendly. Would give customers attitudes. The guys that vacuum the carpets are thieves, notice my belongings were missing when I got home.
