I was very impressed with the landscaping and how well maintained it was. When we arrived at the model, I fell in love with it instantly. The new appliances, cabinets, counters, and flooring looked great. It even had crown molding. :) I decided then I would rent an apartment. Since living here,if I ever had an issue; I would make a work order request. Josh or Garry would come fix it with in 24hrs. They have always been so wonderful and chipper. Even when I see them out and about they always have a smile on their face. I would highly recommend this complex

Not accommodating to residents they don't personally like and will make it difficult to live there . Read your leasing agreement carefully , they will try to trick you into staying and paying longer than you want . Walls are very thin and anyone on the floor below you can hear everything, every step you take . If you have kids or babies recommend staying on the 4th floor where you can't hear anyone above you , apartments aren't quiet when you have neighbors :)

The representative would not talk to us much until we produced our driver licenses and said we could not see a unit until she was able the SCAN them. Given our home state does not require one to CARRY a license, but only requries that one be licensed to drive, we don't keep them with us. Both of us have military IDs however. We were informed that a US Government-issued military ID was insufficient -- apparently because they could not be scanned (they can.) We left without ever having seen a unit. But there is GOOD news! :) We went to look at the places at Enzo were we were met by two very professional, pleasant and helpful representatives who were glad to show us around and take our application. They wanted to hold onto our IDs while we were out with the their employee -- entirely reasonable, we thought, given the "stories" one hears. So, bottom line is we found a better place than Ocean Park where we were well received and their was no discrimination against folks carrying military ID cards.

The best was when we had an A/C issue and they fixed it same day within 2 hours of submitting the request. The maintenance crew is very fast and all great people, the office staff was also very accommodating the entire time we lived here. The trash service is great and the dumpsters on site are very useful, unlike other complexes that have horrible rules with dumping and compactors that are always full. When I moved out this year Kaitlin the manager gave me extra time to finish cleaning out our apartment and garage which helped out a ton with my busy schedule. Don't listen to the people giving a 1 star for "drivers license" issues, they are just making sure you're not a criminal and keeping the neighborhood safe!

It's a vibrant community with an eclectic group dwelling within a sound structure. (In fact my mom and step father stayed on the 16th floor at the San Marco place during our last hurricane (Oct '16), and never lost power. (* If they had lost power, San Marco place has a back up generator for all vital needs) Concierge is on hand at the front desk to assist. Bookclubs and meeting groups assemble and gather in common areas. Pool area was just redone. It is spacious, clean, and now provides shading with the new umbrellas. Gym is small but accommodates all basic needs. Club room is located by the pool and gym area and provides a comfortable TV room and kitchen area. I have only visited condos facing the water and these views are great, especially the ones facing the corner water views which show the stadium, river, and areas where the school board bldg. resides. Condos are spacious and can be opened up to accommodate an open floor plan. Natural lighting is good, bathrooms spacious and the kitchens I've seen have 2 refrigerators, new cabinets, and large pantries. Private parking is located underneath the units in a gated parking area. Most residents receive two parking spaces but additional storage units aren't easy to come by. San Marco Place is located across the street from the River walk, down the street from fabulous restaurants and bars, across the river from the Florida Times Union and downtown area as well as being close in proximity to the tram.

THIS IS SERIOUS: My Experience as a single woman: I was stalked and harassed by their male tenant of 4yrs in building 15 who is married and lived next door to me. I sent an email to Luna.(mind you she claimed she had no clue as we were discussing all the extra charges on me moving out. Luna was covering her you know what) but I told them (I have emailed proof I sent it). I was being harassed constantly by his verbal sexual advances of telling me not to tell his wife that he came to my door asking me if I wanted to smoke and that he can help me around my apartment because he is very handy and that he doesn't mind coming over when I need him because he doesn't like his wife of over 20 something yrs. No thank you. A tree would have a better chance with me. He said, "It's cheaper to keep her." And the main reason why I try to put up with it is because he told me was moving away in 3 months. And in his sneaking over he said he was just released from a mental hospital and that he was in the psych ward for 2 weeks. I notice after the ward. He was ringing off my ring cam a lot more just to ask if I needed anything. That's when things got even more unbearable. I started being stalked and followed to work. Now the first time it happens I'm like no can't be him. That would be weird. As I walked into my job I saw his truck. And I'm like no that can't be. Well then I check my Ring cam 2 mins after I left, he left. Smh!!!! More sexual verbal harassment and yes my boyfriend wanted to do something and 23 yr old my son wanted to do something because they were scared for me if one of them couldn't meet me at my car as I parked. And I told them: One he is on mental med(s) (he told me) and two he carries a pocket gun ( he told me) three my encounter with him was under the influence of alcohol and Marijauana (because he sneaked over 2 mins after his wife left and asked me if I wanted to smoke with him and showed me it). No I don't smoke. I don't know how to smoke. I even told my co worker's and my clients who are officers what should I do and should I make a police report and break my lease. My true talking to people to see if they ever dealt with this situation before and how they would handle it. I stayed as long as I could because the apt is close to my 2 jobs and close to my son's college. But more importantly, He said he will be working in another State soon or moving in 3 months. Well that never happened. So my year renewal lease with the Elements was miserable and there was no peace when I parked, enter or leave building 15. There was times I had to either not go home or stay at my boyfriends who lives 45 mins away from the apt. Or even timed my arrival's when my son got off from work. I was stalked for the entire year extension of my lease renewal. To sum this up: At first I didn't realize he was watching me. I just thought hmm he and always run into each other. He is either in his truck when I leave or when I come back home. Hmm strange we have the same schedule. Naw he is married and that would be just weird. And I know since he is watching me he had to seen my new relationship with my boyfriend. So why would he continue to harass me? He did!!!! I truly feel sorry for his wife. I did not tell her because you never know how that would turn out. He could lose it and she be harm. I did not want that on my conscience. Or she doesn't believe me. Either/or! But a mental disorder can be unpredictable especially when one uses substances. On my departure they charged me all these bogus fees. Almost $400 dollars. All I asked Luna for was to cut those bogus charges for my peace being disturbed for a year. Luna said to me, " If I do it for you then I have to do it for everyone"! We moved in and quickly realized EVERYTHING is outdated or not functioning. When we moved in it was dirty and the floors were peeling up. There is no ceiling fan in the guest room, which is so hot. Also, half the outlets don't work. The air conditioner does not work properly and we've reported the problem several times and they have not fixed it. For example, I got home and put the air on 72, I had to a couple things and realized a few hours later that it was still hot. The air was at 82 degrees after FIVE HOURS. And the complex and manager just kept saying "well it's hot outside". This place is horrible and we are stuck in a lease for another 11 months. This place is old and so overpriced. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Called office, she came and vacuumed. I needed to wash clothes, washing machine was old and filthy, dryer old and covered in gray paint, and had some taped to back wall inside. I called office and notified them. 2 weeks later after several more calls and sending photos to Laura Siemsen, she sent a maintenance lady to try and clean. lady took one look and said no way to clean this mess up. Laura Siemsen then told me she was going to try and get washing machine from another unit or try to get a new set. This week on Wednesday, new washing machine and dryer installed. The day after I moved in, discovered 3 electrical outlets on kitchen counter, did not work. I was told by Samantha Malone that maintenance was short workers, due to illness. The truth was , complex maintenance was preparing for an inspection by U S HUD. all maintenance was busy sprucing up complex. Last week walking into my apartment, found a maintenance man trying to repair electrical outlets. he finally said he would have to call contractor. Next day electrical contractor showed up, had to cut 4 different holes in wall in dining area, hallway by washing machine, bathroom and linen closet. I asked electrician, if I needed to make maintenance request, she said no,they had reported it to office . I called office on Tuesday, and was told next day holes would be taken care of as well as washing machine and dryer installed. Holes and patchwork, 2 areas were partially done.Bathroom and linen closet not touched. Yesterday I called office at 2:47pm and was told this problem would be taken care of by 5pm yesterday or today. it's 6:48 pm now, no notification, no maintenance, nothing done. This place is a nightmare, poorly maintained and very poorly managed. I urge whoever reads this, do not consider moving here and going through the problems I have endured. My favorite apartment complex I ever lived in! Everything about this place is amazing! They have a…read moregreat pool, gym, apartments, etc. I think I laid out by the pool almost everyday after class. It was so big and roomy and just beautiful to look at. Regarding the apartments, I know they're only a couple years old but they look brand new. I sent pictures to my mom and she said this apartment is even nicer than her house, haha. All new appliances, wood flooring, crown molding, everything was amazing. The only down side I would say is that the regular rooms (not the master) were pretty small as well as the closet and the bathroom compared to other places I've lived. Another great part about this complex was the "extras". There was a good truck that came to the complex once a week and they always had things going on like events for kids and free breakfast, etc. The amount of times I got free breakfast was amazing, especially on the way to class. I would have loved to stay and live here longer but I changed roommates and therefore a different living area. Definitely an amazing apartment to live in and I recommend to everyone. Also, parking is great! No reserved spots and lots for everyone to fit! Oh and there's valet trash!!! That was one of my favorite things cause what college girl likes taking out the trash, haha.

How did the complex help? By purchasing bug traps outside her front door and placed in her bathroom. NEVER once tried to find the source of the issue. My daughter ended up buying bug traps and spray to use inside. By the end of March she experiences human waste backing up in her tub and toilet. Feces with toilet paper pieces floating in her tub. Maintenance did respond and stated it was fixed. This same incident occurred 3 more times: in mid April, June and July. Each time my daughter requested to be moved to a new apartment, for plumbing to be replaced, wanted the issue fixed. Never had the plumbing fixed, never had the offer of a cleaning company to clean up afterwards. Never a prorated rent offer for the inconvenience not to mention health issues this could present. Never a letter of apology! What was she offered? To terminate the lease with no termination fee!! Said she could move to new apartment at her own expense! This is the worse place ever! Had we only read the reviews! Funny her neighbor's commented on how many people move in and out of that same apartment! We know why! Faulty plumbing causing potential health concerns and the root cause of the mosquito and gnat infestation. Run far, far away from this place. My next stop will be the department of health and city code department
