It was very modern and then found out that all of their apartments are being remodeled. Mandy the office manager, walked me through the courtyard on the way to the model. I was very impressed with the landscaping and how well maintained it was. When we arrived at the model, I fell in love with it instantly. The new appliances, cabinets, counters, and flooring looked great. It even had crown molding. :) I decided then I would rent an apartment. Since living here,if I ever had an issue; I would make a work order request. Josh or Garry would come fix it with in 24hrs. They have always been so wonderful and chipper. Even when I see them out and about they always have a smile on their face. I would highly recommend this complex

I was made to feel very welcome. The property manager, Alison, was gracious and very accommodating. The apartments were deceivingly nice also. Good, professional experience all around.

Great location and amazing Maintenance crew…read more I lived here for 3 years and had a great experience. The best was when we had an A/C issue and they fixed it same day within 2 hours of submitting the request. The maintenance crew is very fast and all great people, the office staff was also very accommodating the entire time we lived here. The trash service is great and the dumpsters on site are very useful, unlike other complexes that have horrible rules with dumping and compactors that are always full. When I moved out this year Kaitlin the manager gave me extra time to finish cleaning out our apartment and garage which helped out a ton with my busy schedule. The representative would not talk to us much until we produced our driver licenses and said we could not see a unit until she was able the SCAN them. Given our home state does not require one to CARRY a license, but only requries that one be licensed to drive, we don't keep them with us. Both of us have military IDs however. We were informed that a US Government-issued military ID was insufficient -- apparently because they could not be scanned (they can.) We left without ever having seen a unit. But there is GOOD news! :) We went to look at the places at Enzo were we were met by two very professional, pleasant and helpful representatives who were glad to show us around and take our application. They wanted to hold onto our IDs while we were out with the their employee -- entirely reasonable, we thought, given the "stories" one hears. So, bottom line is we found a better place than Ocean Park where we were well received and their was no discrimination against folks carrying military ID cards.

The staff is friendly and accommodating and residents that I've met have all been so nice and helpful. Everyone in my building generally watch out for one another - very neighborly. The office just added some Adirondack chairs around the pond areas of the property, updating the landscaping and installed a hammock by the pool. In other apartment complexes where I've lived I haven't been able to see where my rent payments are going other than just to pay for the current property and staff. It's really nice to see improvements around the property. I also really like the monthly newsletter and monthly events for residents. The community here is welcoming and a place I'm happy to call home! I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a new apartment to call home!

Horrible management by team leader Luna!!!! Don't be fool…read morein the beginning when touring the Elements of Belle Rive Apartments. Oh they will be very, very, nice, helpful and oh how can I help you. THIS IS SERIOUS: My Experience as a single woman: I was stalked and harassed by their male tenant of 4yrs in building 15 who is married and lived next door to me. I sent an email to Luna.(mind you she claimed she had no clue as we were discussing all the extra charges on me moving out. Luna was covering her you know what) but I told them (I have emailed proof I sent it). I was being harassed constantly by his verbal sexual advances of telling me not to tell his wife that he came to my door asking me if I wanted to smoke and that he can help me around my apartment because he is very handy and that he doesn't mind coming over when I need him because he doesn't like his wife of over 20 something yrs. No thank you. A tree would have a better chance with me. He said, "It's cheaper to keep her." And the main reason why I try to put up with it is because he told me was moving away in 3 months. And in his sneaking over he said he was just released from a mental hospital and that he was in the psych ward for 2 weeks. I notice after the ward. He was ringing off my ring cam a lot more just to ask if I needed anything. That's when things got even more unbearable. I started being stalked and followed to work. Now the first time it happens I'm like no can't be him. That would be weird. As I walked into my job I saw his truck. And I'm like no that can't be. Well then I check my Ring cam 2 mins after I left, he left. Smh!!!! More sexual verbal harassment and yes my boyfriend wanted to do something and 23 yr old my son wanted to do something because they were scared for me if one of them couldn't meet me at my car as I parked. And I told them: One he is on mental med(s) (he told me) and two he carries a pocket gun ( he told me) three my encounter with him was under the influence of alcohol and Marijauana (because he sneaked over 2 mins after his wife left and asked me if I wanted to smoke with him and showed me it). No I don't smoke. I don't know how to smoke. I even told my co worker's and my clients who are officers what should I do and should I make a police report and break my lease. My true talking to people to see if they ever dealt with this situation before and how they would handle it. I stayed as long as I could because the apt is close to my 2 jobs and close to my son's college. But more importantly, He said he will be working in another State soon or moving in 3 months. Well that never happened. So my year renewal lease with the Elements was miserable and there was no peace when I parked, enter or leave building 15. There was times I had to either not go home or stay at my boyfriends who lives 45 mins away from the apt. Or even timed my arrival's when my son got off from work. I was stalked for the entire year extension of my lease renewal. To sum this up: At first I didn't realize he was watching me. I just thought hmm he and always run into each other. He is either in his truck when I leave or when I come back home. Hmm strange we have the same schedule. Naw he is married and that would be just weird. And I know since he is watching me he had to seen my new relationship with my boyfriend. So why would he continue to harass me? He did!!!! I truly feel sorry for his wife. I did not tell her because you never know how that would turn out. He could lose it and she be harm. I did not want that on my conscience. Or she doesn't believe me. Either/or! But a mental disorder can be unpredictable especially when one uses substances. On my departure they charged me all these bogus fees. Almost $400 dollars. All I asked Luna for was to cut those bogus charges for my peace being disturbed for a year. Luna said to me, " If I do it for you then I have to do it for everyone"! Well not EVERYONE was NOT HARASSED and STALKED by a mentally unstable Man!!!! If any attorneys want to reach out please do so. Thank you for reading my horrible experience.

We have lived in the community North Beach on Kernan since December. We really enjoy our apartment…read more The layout is ideal for our needs, we are renting the Tidewater layout. It is 2br/2ba with a washer and dryer in unit. We have a 3rd floor unit with a lake view. Storage is minimal considering we had to store our personal washer and dryer, since they were unwilling to allow us to use our own instead, but you can rent a garage for an extra monthly charge. Upon move in we did a walk through the apartment with Laura. We let her know of our minor concerns (missing bolts on screen, and a missing bathroom tissue spool) and they were taken care of the same day. They wave the deposit and application fee for military. The community is nice. It offers a well maintained pool with grill available on site as well as placed throughout the community. There is a tennis court for those who like to play. A doggie park for furry friends and a small park for young children. My 2 young children enjoy it. There is also a car port in which you can use the personal car wash, vacuum and air. There is no assigned parking unfortunately. The property is well maintained with crew out daily tending to the landscape and other needs. The office staff has been outstanding. They are quick to respond to emails and calls during office hours. Every person I have met in the office has been courteous and understanding of issues when presented. W/S anis not included in rent unfortunately. We did have an issue with our neighbors but it was taken care of quickly and I believe all parties are happy with the outcome. Considering we moved to Jacksonville last minute, I am happy with our apartment for the time being. Once our lease is up we may look into moving into the 3br layout here on North Beach if possible. Update Sept. 11, 2019 We have been living at North Beach on Kernan since December and we have enjoyed it so far! The amenities are amazing. An Internet cafe, gym, tanning bed (we just learned of this), pool & hot tub, trail, outdoor grilling areas, nice dock on the lake, and park for the kids and one for your furry companions. There is also cornhole, horseshoes, putt course and tennis course for outdoor activities! They really know how to take care of their military families, they bypass the initial deposit and application fees! Maintenance is awesome, they are always tending to apartments as soon as a work request is submitted if not the next day! The resident staff is so friendly and accommodating. They make it a point to know your name! They offer community events often, just recently they brought in a food truck and dessert truck for free! I would definitely recommend living here to friends.

Regarding the apartments, I know they're only a couple years old but they look brand new. I sent pictures to my mom and she said this apartment is even nicer than her house, haha. All new appliances, wood flooring, crown molding, everything was amazing. The only down side I would say is that the regular rooms (not the master) were pretty small as well as the closet and the bathroom compared to other places I've lived. Another great part about this complex was the "extras". There was a good truck that came to the complex once a week and they always had things going on like events for kids and free breakfast, etc. The amount of times I got free breakfast was amazing, especially on the way to class. I would have loved to stay and live here longer but I changed roommates and therefore a different living area. Definitely an amazing apartment to live in and I recommend to everyone. Also, parking is great! No reserved spots and lots for everyone to fit! Oh and there's valet trash!!! That was one of my favorite things cause what college girl likes taking out the trash, haha.

My experience during my first three months living here has been defined by repeated maintenance…read moreissues and unsettling behavior from the maintenance staff. Safety and Boundary Concerns: During my first few weeks, a maintenance technician (Saud) came to fix a broken garbage disposal and made inappropriate comments, asking if I had a boyfriend because "some women don't like him visiting when their boyfriend is around." He then walked around my apartment pointing out things completely unrelated to the service order. Later, when I scheduled a repair for my day off regarding peeling shower caulk, Saud showed up unannounced on a completely different day. He repeatedly pounded on my door until he was let in; I strongly suspect he would have used his master key to enter had someone not been inside. The most severe incident occurred in my third month when my hot water went out. Management called while I was at work, but before I could respond, Saud was dispatched to my unit. He attempted to force his way inside--even after management (Raymoni) confirmed he did not have permission to enter. The only thing that stopped him was a door jammer I had purchased specifically because I realized Saud didn't respect boundaries. When he was caught in the act, he outright lied and claimed he never tried to enter! Maintenance Quality: Within my first 90 days, I have experienced a jammed garbage disposal/clogged sink, peeling bathroom caulk around the shower pan, and a loss of hot water. Management needs to address employee conduct and tenant privacy immediately.
