I am beyond devastated by the loss of my saguaro after paying this company $450 to replant and cover it. I encourage everyone to think twice before using this company. Despite the text message below not stating that bracing was included in the cost of re-planting, Miguel stated that the saguaro was healthy, had good roots and would be fine without bracing. He deducted $50 off the quoted price because he was not going to brace it. When I asked Miguel about covering the cactus to prevent further sun damage he told me it was not included. I trusted Miguel and paid the $450. As you can see in the attached photos, the cactus broke near where the saguaro was strapped to the wench / lift. It appears to me that the stress from being strapped combined with the saguaro not being braced caused the break. I contacted the company as soon as I saw that the cactus had broken and fallen. I was advised by the woman who answered the phone that she was referencing the text message agreement and they followed the agreement. I told her that they did not follow the agreement because the cactus wasn't covered and that Miguel had deducted $50 for not bracing it. She told me that she did not know about the deduction and stated that Miguel would call me back. After not hearing from Miguel for a week, I called again. The woman and I had the same conversation and she again stated that Miguel would call me. Weeks have passed without response from Miguel. I'm disappointed in the follow through of this company. My observation is that they will respond quickly to new work, but they lack integrity when things go wrong. I apologize to anyone who used them at my recommendation. read more

We had a very tall saguaro that was leaning toward the house and at risk for damaging the roof and adjacent saguaro. Miguel promptly answered my call and he came to the house to give an estimate. I will quote my husband, parenthesis is mine: "It took'em all morning, from 8 - noon to remove that big "ol cactus (saguaro with four arms). They were intent, careful and meticulous at there work. I was in awe of the whole process. The necessary equipment, time and skill, the know how. I took several pictures so you could see the process." A little background of how they came to do the job: I am retired local truck driver in the construction industry and have seen this process done many times, transporting and planting big saguaro's, even the pineapple palms. My husband being from England said, you'll never find someone to take those! Ha! Do your research I said! Huge market for them. Amazingly, his post on FB got some to do research and called. Asked why we wanted them gone? Small property, they overpowered the yard and getting bigger! And the thorns also get in the dogs pads and such. Not to mention we are planting vegetable garden out front. The surprisingly supply a lot of shade. not to mention thorny...So when I posted my add in craigslist "free saguaro's and palm trees" I was very specific in my request. You must have the equipment and so on. So when I was bombarded with calls I was so glad I already had the education of doing this job right! I couldn't believe the response I got! They were even willing to come all the way from Tucson to take them. In my correspondence with Yvonne (great person to work with by the way), I had to put everything on hold, so I could think, am I really doing the right thing here? Which was the one I had a hard time parting with. I named it Trump tower in 2016... two birds nests... desert condo for wild life... They were very respectful of the property. Asked how and what can get moved to get to the job at hand. Very meticulous. There is just a small circle of dirt, maybe 3' diameter at most. No hole, no mound, clean flat surface. Did I say great Job? Well, this is the team of people you want doing this important work. Giving new life to the protected Saguaro's. Called Miguel late Friday and told him we were worried about our 26' Saguaro's condition....he asked for pictures so we took a few and sure enough, he told it was infected and would eventually die and fall. As upsetting as it was, we wanted it removed as soon as possible so as not to seriously hurt someone. They were promptly at our home the next morning as promised and 2 hours later, removed this monster cactus (it was a difficult removal). They were very professional, courteous, and clean (you would never know they or the cactus had ever been there). A sad day for us to lose such a beautiful saguaro, but they made the process easy and their price was very reasonable for the amount of work they had to do. He is courteous and his price beat everyone else I contacted. He assured me the cactus is going to a good place. It was a healthy plant but it was too close to the sidewalk.
