One of our…read more(many) dogs is a 20lb poodle mix who fell into our laps as a horrifically abused 6 month old puppy. His outlook on humans other than us has always been one of distrust and fear, but being part poodle has meant that grooming is something that will be a part of his life forever. After getting kicked out of the grooming salon where he'd been going for the past 2 years for nipping at tools/thrashing wildly on the table and being told he could only be groomed under sedation, we decided to try a private mobile groomer hoping that a quiet, more personal environment would make him feel safer. Jorge showed up and took some nice chill time to just hangout with the pack inside our house to ply Goji with his favorite ice-breaker treats so he could learn that "hey, this dude's okay; he's not gonna hit me, he's FEEDING me, and my family seems to think he's okay too." I was on pins and needles waiting for a text/knock on my door that it had to be called off early because he was just too scared and they wouldn't be able to finish the groom. Lo and behold, the knock came, but I was greeted by a happy, fully groomed, non-traumatized pupper and non-injured groomer! I loved that I got a full report that yes, he was wiggly and anxious, gave some side eye, but no nipping or growling and just needed to be plied with some more tasty nibbles for "good human" reminders. Goji has NEVER gotten his face successfully worked on and this boy now has trimmed ears and a neat beard. I booked this appointment being very blunt that this wasn't about aesthetics for me; I wanted someone that was more focused on helping me to help our very anxious/traumatized pup settle into a scary thing BEFORE that fear flipped into full aggression and man, he definitely did that today. We did give our dog a VERY low dose Gabapentin (with our vet's directive) just to help a little bit with that heightened edge and will for sure be booking again for all of Goji's future groomings - same with our other dogs that I can't just toss in our bathtub at home.

They're taken out regularly so they can play on the structures. Her cats never mind going there and show no signs of any distress (overgrooming, etc). I see dogs in the yard to the right of where we walk in, and they always seem excited and happy. Once, one of her cats was asleep on top of a tree, and the staff member was trying to get him down. Staff member gently tipped over the tree to try to get ahold of Caboose, but Caboose jumped to the top of the next tree. This went on a few times and my husband and daughter were howling with laughter. Finally hubby took pity and picked up Caboose. The price increases over holidays, but that's normal. We always feel we get our money's worth knowing her cats are safe and loved.

She texted me to ask me to change my review as it would hurt her business. She insinuated that our experience and perception of what happen were wrong and when I refused to change my review she rudely insulted us and said that we somehow knew that our beloved cat was going to die and that we are bad pet owners for not hiring their services more frequently. When in reality this was the farthest thing from the truth. Facts: 1. The owner and pet sitter are trying to mitigate the situation and claim their innocence by denying any negligence. The owner is trying to shame us and twist this already terrible situation in her favor by lying and saying we knew our cat was going to die. 2. The pet sitter we hired verbally admitted she did not make an effort to physically see our cat goober during any of her home visits and verify that Goober was alive. Due to this seemingly innocent oversight I came home and found her dead and what's worse is the sitter didn't even know she had died. 3. We left home for two weeks to get married and our cats were healthy with no diseases or imminent death. 4. No amount of increasing the number of visits to our home would have changed the fact that the pet sitter told us "I thought your cat was hiding so I didn't go looking for her". 5. We believe that the pet sitter did not perform due diligence to verify the safety and health of each of our pets and we are now have had to endure the insulting attitude of the owner. The pet sitter neglected to verify if our cat was alive and well.

Our dog had become so aggressive towards her female housemate that we thought the last attack would have ended in our other dogs death. We tried all types of behavioral training and she seemed to get more aggressive. I contacted a trainer who told us that she did not think she could help but referred me to Lynne so I gave her a call. We scheduled an appt and after our first meeting I felt hope again. We saw changes with our dog within a week and with continued training and support from Lynne we have been able to reintroduce our dogs and have them be in the same room without issues.
