They're also great at accommodating large groups, which was a big plus for us. Service was good throughout the night staff was attentive and everything came out pretty smoothly. For the food, it was a bit hit or miss for me. I didn't really care for the curries, but some dishes definitely stood out. The dynamite shrimp was really good, the fish was flavorful, and the masala dosa was a favorite. The biryani was also solid. Overall, it was a good time and a nice spot for celebrations, just depends on what you order!

The food was excellent just like the first time. I wrote a review before but somehow Mughal had 2 Yelp pages and one got deleted w/my previous post. Mughal is located on the NE corner of Northwest highway & Touhy in Park Ridge. The food is remarkable & the best Indian Food I ever had. Now I don't claim to be an expert on Indian Cuisine, but I know what I like & to my palette their food is outstanding. Mughal is a nice restaurant, but the service is a little odd. You come in & no one greets you. They give you a menu & disappear to the back. Not being very knowledgeable about the different dishes is a bit confusing & overwhelming. The menu has a fairly large selection of food items but no description of what the dish is or what's in it. Two things that would help is to elaborate on the food items and give a written description of what's in the dish. Not everyone is familiar with Indian cuisine & what goes into the dish When it comes time to order there is a white square pad w/around button that serves as a call button summoning the server. Please print new menus that elaborate & tell the diner what the dish is and what the ingredients are in the dish & maybe have a little more interaction w/the diners & server. Other than that I love their food & would recommend it. I will definitely be back again

I do not personally order Meez Meals. It is my daughter who orders them for her family. Sometimes I…read morejoin them for a Meez dinner at their house, and sometimes I receive a package of their leftovers for my house which I welcome with enthusiasm. The meals have all been very delicious, even as leftovers! Recent examples: Ginger Scallion Chicken, and Chicken Noodle Soup with Matzo Balls. All the ingredients are fresh and the cooking directions are clear and easy, according to my daughter. I merely microwave the leftovers without sacrificing any taste or texture, so far so good. For what it's worth, Meez Meals is Grandma approved. Did I just write their next ad?

The food is always delicious and I feel great feeding my family these easy to prepare meals! They have fewer prep steps and way less waste than other meal delivery companies we had tried in the past. I love that the drivers pick up the delivery bags to reuse. They will adapt most meals to your food preferences and make it clear if one has an ingredient that cant be removed (I hate mushrooms and its always quick and easy to see if they can send an option without them- never once has a meal come with them included!) Ordering online is super easy too.

I've ordered from Meal Village a couple times and had great experiences including ordering online…read morewhich was very easy. Both times the food arrived EXACTLY at 4pm and was top quality with good portions for most. My dad recently needs to be on a lower sodium diet so it's nice to provide 1-2 meals per week for him with no commitment- he usually eats only half of the portion per meal and can easily know the sodium content. My wife and I have tried a few of the meals and been happy with everything - sometimes calories and fat/sodium can be a bit higher than my wife prefers for a single meal but you have all the info before ordering. There's always a salmon option, and a recent "Retro Fried Chicken Bowl" was great if slightly unhealthier than ideal but had a nice portion of well cooked chicken and included a fantastic smothered sauce plus the side of applesauce was chunky, flavorful, and just as good as we would make at home. If you don't make your own applesauce this will show you why you should do it. Nothing but positive so far, and prices generally seem consistent with the "ready to cook" options in the market but you have much less packaging waste and don't need to spend a bunch of time cooking and cleaning up which can be nice during the week. Most dishes are 2-3 minutes heating up in the microwave and end up great. Don't get me wrong, we love to cook but I prefer to use my own recipes and for my dad with limited mobility a quick, healthier microwave meal or a "soft food" option is important. And for my wife and me, this is a nice supplement to our weeknight meals. Bravo to a great local business worth supporting!
