Brought my old Toyota Camry into their shop today, and I asked about helping me fix the wiring harness to connect to an old alpine head unit. (I had taking my car to a local business that had stated that they were open in the morning, come to find out their shop is closed!) Walked in looking for help making my wifes Jeep Wrangler stereo louder so we could hear good sound while driving with the top off. I was quoted $2815.43. Thinking this was too much I went somewhere else explained the same scenario and they quoted $1100.00. 5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH! After being SCREWED over by a dishonest, disgusting human being from another shop, this place went above and beyond what was needed to make sure I left happy and satisfied. There was an issue with a box that they had built for me based on the measurements they were given from that rat bastard from the previous shop that I fired. I talked to Mike and Eric and they were absolutely amazing. They were quick to solve the issue and agreed to finish what the other hack had started. They were 2 of the most pleasant people I've ever worked with. They checked out my whole system to see if anything was out of order. Fortunately, everything was. This place is terrific. The remote start in my car stopped working after a friend of mine changed my car battery a couple of years ago. I didn't drive my car that often, so it wasn't that big of a deal that it stopped working, except now my circumstances have changed and I drive my car daily. I don't have a garage, so having a remote start THAT WORKS in the winter is now something I would really like to have!!! I called a local mechanic, & they gave me the number for Premium Sound & Security in Antioch. I called PS&S to see if they had any appointments available for the upcoming Saturday & explained the situation. They were booked for appointments, but he told me if I brought my car in they could take a look - it might be a quick fix they could squeeze in,or if it was more complicated they could set me up with a future appointment. The shop opened at 9am, I got there at 9:15 Saturday morning. I explained my remote start stopped working, and he asked what kind of system I was using. When I told him I had no idea, he just asked for my remote/keys and took a look. He said unfortunately, the system I had in my car was not one that they worked with, but he said he would take a look anyway. After just a couple of minutes, he found the issue - the wire had been broken/cut when my battery was replaced. He went back into the store and came back out less than a minute later with a couple of tools and parts, and in a matter of moments had the wire spliced to a new connector and my remote start was back in wonderful working condition. When I asked him what I owed him, he said not to worry about it. I was so happy to have my car fixed and thrilled that he was able to get me back on the road SO FAST, I gave him some cash I had on me and went on my merry way. My husband is looking to have his car stereo replaced soon - you better believe this will be the first place I go to! read more
