I shopped around for prices and found that The Euro Shop wasn't the cheapest by far, but I had a really good feeling about them. They took the time to discuss a lot of possibilities with me over the phone before I was a customer. I had the work done and a day later another check engine light came on. I called The Euro Shop and explained what was happening. Turns out it was just some wires to a sensor that I had replaced. I returned the car and it was fixed in no time with no additional charge, and they even offered me a ride home when I dropped the car off. It's been more than two months now and the car's never ran better! The Euro Shop isn't the cheapest, but they are the best. You get what you pay for. Thanks Glenn!

I respectfully presented that my glove box was reassembled incorrectly, not allowing it to close completely. The guy acknowledged that it doesn't fit correctly, but doesn't know why. He was willing to take a look at it, but stated that my car was not welcome back in the future because I did not want to buy tires from him... This is because I gave him only the "hard jobs"...(oil change and cabin filter) which cost me over $450... I have no problem paying for quality work... But this guy knowingly returned a botched job and told me nothing about it until I said something... Then said my business is not welcome because I didn't buy tires from him... This is supposed to be a European car mechanic, not a tire joint... I can see that my business is not welcome here.. Friday morning I called the dealer and they said they couldn't even look at it for three weeks. So here's the deal - our daughter was supposed to drive Sunday to stay with us in Tennessee for her two week Christmas break and we were watching her dog while she flew to meet friends in another state. Even if her vehicle could be fixed (bent lower control A-arm) somewhat quickly, the timing for her to still drive to be with us for Christmas was very tight. She is a teacher and she had to work Friday, so I was calling places from Tennessee. Another shop said they couldn't get to her vehicle for at least a week. I was thinking she would have to rent a car for two weeks to still make Christmas and her vacation she saved up for all d was looking forward to all year. The second shop recommended Gages Lake Auto & Light Truck. I called and spoke with Todd. He listened to our trouble. Then he said he'd go tow her vehicle from the dealer to Gages Lake and look at it and call me back. That same Friday at 2pm, he called and said they got the parts and would have our daughter's vehicle fixed by closing at 5:30!! She went with coworkers to an after school get together at a local restaurant and then got a ride to the shop where she paid and picked up her vehicle - all fixed! It was a Christmas miracle!!! She drove here (534 miles!) on Sunday as previously planned and everything worked out fine. With all the thanks to Gages Lake Auto!! Her friends and coworkers couldn't believe it and they all asked for the shop's name to put in their phones if they ever need service. We are very thankful for Gages Lake Auto! We will be back whenever we need something!

And believe they believe that they are above the law by parking illegally for over an hour in a 15 minute tow zone. You better believe a tow was called, and despite telling the driver of the vehicle in question that he was in line to be towed, parked illegally, and also delaying another company's business from getting their merchandise delivery, of course when you are told that the right respond is to blow the person and say he doesnt care. Wrong sir wrong. Also ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS MOVE FORWARD! This company clearly doesnt respect other businesses or the law. Something to think about.

Our vehicle remained at the shop for an extended period while parts were being ordered, some of which were reportedly backordered. After the parts were installed, the warning light remained on and the original issue was not resolved. At that point, we were advised to take the vehicle to the dealership. We spent a couple thousand dollars on emissions-related repairs based on the garage's recommendations, yet the problem remains unresolved. As retirees on a limited income, we cannot afford additional costly repairs. We were not offered any refund, partial reimbursement, or clear explanation of what the actual problem might be or how it could be fixed. While we understand that some repairs can be difficult to diagnose, our experience left us feeling that we paid a significant amount of money without receiving a solution to the issue that brought us in. We encourage others to use caution and ask detailed questions before authorizing major repairs.

I needed to get an oil change and the prices are decent here while the service is pretty good so I knew I wouldn't go anywhere else. While changing my oil, Dan and the tech, Nikolai, were able to find some other issues including my brakes, egr valve gasket and camshaft plug. They were honest with me regarding what they found and gave me a decent price without tryin to run me up which I appreciated. Overall, they did a great job with my car and they didn't try to push unnecessary work to be done on my car. I will continue to use them and I would highly recommend everyone else to as well.
