Getting responses from Jose was like pulling teeth! We had to follow up for status updates multiple times, we asked multiple times about how to go about ordering a door for our shower and were told "not to worry" because we didn't need to order one until the job was finished, and then we waited almost a month for them to come back and finish painting the bathroom after they damaged and repaired a wall. I'm not sure if they are just taking on too much work, but it was a very frustrating experience. My biggest complaint is that we requested an estimate for additional work at least 3 times and they NEVER EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED that request, even though it was sent by email, text, and over the phone. We really wanted to like this company as Jose is very nice and I'm sure we will need a good contractor for whatever comes up in our home in the future. But we will not be using Kahuna Renovations again.

This was the third contractor I worked with and I can't say enough positive things about Angel and…read morehis crew! Angel is highly competitive, he's fairly priced, timely, reliable and above all he is professional! I hired him to help finish a renovation project in my home which involved: retiling floor tiles which a previous contractor left unsatisfactory; building/enclosing a wall where a closet exist, removing old Porcelain shower and custom tiling two showers from bottom to top, replacing a backyard wall, and replacing wooden floors in a large backyard shed. He knew off the bat that I had high standards and was picky as he was originally hired to fix work done by a precious contractor (that for most people was acceptable), and he took on that challenge with a stride! He would always follow up with his work and make sure I was happy with the result. If I even hesitated, he would make his crew return that day or the following day to correct it, never making me feel bad, never contractor shaming me :) Angel and his crew did such a great job I referred them to two other friends with similar undertakings. Again I can't say enough great things!
