I was referred to Premium Auto Glass by one of the valet's in my apartment. Called in on a Monday morning and they had the glass for my windshield by 2 PM that afternoon. I was quoted $200 to bring the car in and have the glass replaced, and later the price went up to $230. The owner claims the company who sells him the glass originally quoted the wrong glass. I wasn't too upset seeing as a different Auto Glass Repair shop had quoted me $400 for the repair, so I was still pretty satisfied with the price. I took my car in, and waited in the waiting room for about an hour and was ready to go. There are still a few pieces of glass bouncing around the inside of my car from the old windshield, but I can't complain considering the price. The shop also had a repair van, so I guess they do on-site repairs to. The owner is pretty persistent, professional and quick, and he speaks fluent English which is more than you can say for most places in that area. We came in on a Saturday at 11:35pm. Evelio, the owner, told me that it would be about a 1 hour wait from when the repair began. Evelio was courteous from the beginning. I called the day before and arranged for him to buy the regulator for my rear driver window. His estimate ended up being $150. Duque Auto was $190, El Cheapo does not get the parts BUT they can install them if you bring them in. There were two cars ahead of us. We ended up leaving at 1:00pm. Overall, it was great. We were in Miami on vacation and our rental car window was broken out and our belongings were stolen. On top of that, we had hotel reservations for the next day in Key Largo. When I called, the man who answered the phone said they couldn't get us in until the next day, but when I told him about having to be on the keys by evening, he worked us in. A friend of mine recommended Premium Auto Glass as a small business with prices lower than and service better than a dealership. He was right on the money. The driver's side window on my wife's van stopped working. Turns out this is because of all those postcard size fliers that scumbag people shove in windows in public lots. This happens all the time in downtown Miami and the Miami Parking Authority does nothing to patrol its lots to stop this vandalism. At any rate, we phoned mid-week and explained the problem. The quote was for less than $150 -- materials, labor and tax included. We explained that my wife drives a modified wheelchair lift van and that dozens of mechanics have had problems with its unique and costly features. The owner said he would have no problem. We showed up first thing on a Saturday and we were back on the road in 90 minutes. The work was guaranteed and the owner was super kind. It was a huge bonus that both the owner and installer were totally bilingual, something that is not a guarantee in the heart of Little Havana. I can't imagine leaving my car for a full day at a dealer -- who would want twice as much money and try to upsell me on $500 worth of "owner's manuel required repairs" when Premium Auto Glass does only the work I need for a price that fits my budget. Post script. The reason for my aside on the Miami Parking Authority and the crap lot security it performs in return for taking your hundreds of dollars in parking fees: the installer found more than 4 dozen postcard-like flyers jamming the window motor mechanism inside the driver's side door on my wife's van. If the Parking Authority did so much as hiring a minimum wage person to walk around its lot, running off those who vandalize cars by stuffing unwanted advertising fliers into windows, wipers, etc. -- I wouldn't have had to spend a penny on a van window repair. read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION. Don't give in to their low prices, you in turn get low/unsatisfactory service. Poor service. I had a shattered window so went there to get it replaced. Not only did they damage parts of my window trim around the window they also let markings on the inside too. Went they finished I told the man what is that! He said oh that was there! So I know my car and I know these damages were not there. I told him to test out the window and he said he couldn't because parts were drying from glue... glue !!! What the hell you glueing ! This isn't no damn art project! So I wanted to see a test before I pay so he did the test and you hear my window just break and destroyed my regulator which of course he said wasn't his fault. Thank god I got a full refund but the damages and broke regulator I still have to fix and live with. Don't go here! There's better places in the area that are way more professional and handle your car with CARE and SKILLS. Not to garbage like here!! read more

When I saw the address I was a little worried because I don't speak Spanish.....I took my chances and called but on the other end of the phone was an extremely nice man named Evelio. He was great! Explained to me how to get to his shop....as soon as I arrived he came out and assessed the damage to my car, gave me a price and I was out of there in less than 90 minutes. About 9 months later my boss had his car window smashed in the late afternoon - I called Evelio and he ordered the glass and had a co-worker come to our office and fix his window the very next morning.
