Being a new customer and the first time renting our my home I researched different rental property…read morecompanies. After doing my research we decided to go with Good Life and I am so glad we did they made the process very easy. Malissa Martinez was my onboarding point of contact and I have to say she was very attentive, responsive and professional. She answered all my questions and kept me informed the next steps in the process. Emails came in daily with the updates that had been completed at my home in order to be put on the market. After that my property managment team consisted of Andrei Lechert- Kelly, Gerald Medalla and CJ Flores. Again, more professionalism with this team. Once the property was ready and we agreed on the rental price my home was listed on a Wednesday and by that weekend, Saturday, we have the home rented. It's been 5 months and I have no complaints. They have really taken care of everything and I haven't had to worry about a thing since. Highly recommend Good Life. 10 outta 10.

UPDATE 9/22: Unfortunately, the pattern described in my original review has continued…read more The washer identified as needing repair before my lease began was never successfully repaired despite four service appointments. After nearly two months without a usable washer, I ultimately replaced it myself rather than continue waiting. Good Life provided a $500 credit for the prolonged loss of use and my time dealing with the issue. The refrigerator remained unable to properly cool for two weeks, despite two unsuccessful repair appointments. After continued delays, I escalated the issue to Good Life's CEO and ultimately found a technician myself who was willing to come out over the weekend. A part was replaced and the refrigerator eventually began cooling. I was told compensation for the two weeks without functioning refrigeration would be discussed after the repair, but I have not received that compensation. On September 11, I reported that the A/C was not cooling. Later that day, water began coming through a ceiling vent onto the upstairs bathroom floor. I contacted the emergency maintenance line regarding the active leak and received no response. I cleaned up the water and placed a pan beneath the vent to contain the continuing leak. An HVAC technician came the following morning and found a frozen coil and failed safety switch. I was told further work required management approval. As of September 22, the A/C/water-leak repair has still not been completed. What has been most frustrating is not that things have broken. It is the repeated delays, unsuccessful service appointments, lack of follow-through, and the amount of responsibility I have had to assume myself to get significant maintenance problems addressed. My concerns also extend to a property owner's perspective. An active water leak has the potential to cause additional property damage, yet my emergency maintenance report received no response and the repair remains incomplete. I would expect a property management company to respond promptly to significant maintenance issues, coordinate the appropriate professionals, and follow through until repairs are actually completed. Unfortunately, my experience over the first three months of this tenancy has shown a recurring pattern of significant maintenance issues requiring repeated follow-up and escalation before reaching resolution--if they reach resolution at all.

HOSTILE AND A NEGLIGENT COMPANY…read more STAY AWAY!!! The Clark street property has a generational old cockroach infestation issue that they have been dealing with long before I moved in. when I moved in (August 2020) within the first six hours I had noticed and have picture of roach droppings along the windowsills in (September 2022) the tenants next-door to me in unit six I've been living there for over five years and had gotten a pest treatment done prior to getting their treatment done. Their pest control. Technician had informed them that if a treatment was to be done on six, it should be done on all the surrounding units, including mine, and prior to doing business with Payne pest control during the bid for Clark street property they were informed of what would need to be done to get rid of this pest infestation which meant getting the property tented mind you this was before I had moved in I was old told that Bryan and Samantha had just gone with the cheapest option which they also knew would not take care of this issue. A couple months into moving in I had informed them of the pest issue and needing treatment in which they responded by sending an inspection out rather than a treatment which only allowed the infestation to move and grow worse in my unit. By the time any treatment had been done all of my property, my kitchen appliances. Everything was infested, no matter how much we cleaned how much we threw out they constantly kept coming through the same places that the water would come through for the flooding pictures emails of it all during confronting them on their negligence they choose to divert from laws and ordinance codes that I present to them that they're violating in which I've had to move units because of this issue and the infestation has spread to my appliances I was no longer able to move anything from my old unit (5) into my new unit (4) I had to buy completely new furniture and knew everything but the same old infested appliances from number (5) had to come with me I am not the only tenant who I have witnesses and current tenants that are willing to testify against this as well as it being an issue long-standing before I had even moved in, not only have I had to personally take losses from their negligence, but Bryan has also been calling other tenants making them uncomfortable with personal questions about me and he is also insinuated nefarious things about me to other tenants he has also told new tenants moving in he has told them that I am the cause to their generational old roach infestation problem. if there was an option for zero stars, I would select that Bryan and Sam and the entire company are a bunch of slumlords looking to steal your money. These people should be disgusted by their negligent practices from pest infestation to defective appliances to a hostile landlord. these people should be ashamed of themselves and the business they represent, I've been staying in one of their units for a couple years now I and have lost thousands of dollars in property damages due to their negligence of the maintenance and upkeep of the property man their maintenance man "Jeff" is literally the worst contractor I've ever seen do work the work this man does in their units and properties has a lifespan of 3 to 6 months and when that happens, Bryan and Sam like to point the finger at the tenants a complete scam

From start to finish, Jenna's coordination, resourcefulness, dedication, and patience made all the difference. Our closing process was anything but simple -- we were dealing with a laborious back-and-forth with the seller as we ironed out the final details -- and this team walked us through every step with steady hands and clear communication. They never let the obstacles become our problem to solve alone. Beyond that, they connected us with a fantastic list of reputable inspectors and loan agents, put together showings tailored specifically to what we were looking for, and were remarkably responsive -- answering emails and calls quickly and making themselves available whenever we needed them. The team really went to bat for us and we couldn't be happier.

Throughout the process, I felt that avoidable mistakes were made on multiple occasions, and I rarely felt like a priority as a client. During critical negotiation points, I did not feel confident in the direction or representation provided. Navigating this transaction felt unnecessarily stressful and frustrating, and based on my personal experience, I would not choose to work with her again.

Not only is Jenica extremely knowledgeable about everything real estate related but she is professional, friendly, and always made us feel like we were a priority. Jenica's negotiation skills are first-rate and she was able to get us the best deal possible. She also went out of her way to ensure every detail was taken care of - from referring and helping us schedule inspections to being in constant communication with the seller's agent about any questions we had along the way. Throughout our journey, Jenica was extremely patient with us and was able to make an otherwise stressful event, a smooth and successful process. We seriously can't thank you enough Jenica and are so excited about our new home! Thanks, Carly & Christian

They were the perfect tag team to help us get through escrow and close escrow with out any delays and made sure we did not miss out on anything that would benefit us in maximizing our home purchase. All in all Jenica made this home purchase a smooth one. I highly recommend her if you are thinking of purchasing a home.
