    Premiere Cinema Ten:
    Randy D.

Just finish watching The Dilemma Vince Vaighn & Kevin James. Playing at the Mall of Abilene, Premiere Cinema Ten. Not exactly what I was expecting, kind of a buddy film crossed with a romance chick flick. Over all pretty good story line and the film works. I'd give it a Thumbs Up. Sat in the last room to the left seats felt good not over crowded,,, but that was due to the movie... pop corn not so good but priced like most around town TOO HIGH. Was a good night out. Randy Dodd

Comfortable seating. Movie picture was clear. Popcorn was fresh. Not bad for a movie theater in a mall. Right down from buffalo wild wings.

Older looking, but good picture and sound and the seats are the most comfortable out of the Abilene cinemas.

There was so much popcorn all over the place. The restroom had 5 stalls OOO. Friday: when the movie was over the carpet was swept. The cup was gone. And the towels were restocked. Saturday: when the movie was over: it was just messier. My takeaway? People are gross, filthy, inconsiderate animals.

Instead, I walked into what felt like a mall on tax‑free weekend meaning it was lively, loud, and full of folks with the same idea. Thankfully, I'd already bought my tickets through Fandango, so I was able to breeze past the ticket line like a dream only to be snatched back into reality when it came to the concession line! Now, the concession line... that's where the plot twist happened. One single‑file line moving slower than traffic on a Monday morning. I took one look, decided my peace was worth more than popcorn, and headed straight to my seat. Like a bad Monday morning, I decided I'll just go in later for the popcorn. The auditorium itself was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. But then I met the D‑BOX seats...the $20‑per‑person motion seats I'd splurged on for both me and my husband. Let's just say they looked a little "experienced". Worn enough to make me pause and have a quick internal conversation with the Lord praying that I didn't leave with anything that I didn't come with. Luckily though, I did go prepared in long sleeves and pants. But here's the surprise: while those seats looked like they had been around the block more than a few good ole times, they WORKED like they understood the assignment. Once the movie started, they shook, tilted, and rumbled. It felt like a mini amusement‑park ride, and honestly, it made the movie even better. Despite their "well‑loved" appearance, they delivered a fantastic experience to the point I considered having a cigarette afterward...except I don't smoke, so I left with a satisfied grin!

I can say that of all the events we have attended over the years, they have been excellent. However, that being said, last night's Fleetwood X concert was a total MISS. It was, at best, badly staged karaoke. We sat up front in row A, and I was taking pictures. The singer shot me a "I don't think so" look and waved her finger at me until I put my camera down and took no more pictures. The secondary singer sounded like Donald Duck on steroids. We were disappointed in the concert, as were others around us, complaining about extra notes being played in songs, and the microphones kept modulating up and down on both the singers. We are aware that sometimes things happen. I just wanted to voice what my wife and I were thinking, as well as what other folks around were thinking. Please keep bringing live music to the Paramount; it is the best place in Abilene to attend a concert by far.

We also love the fact that they have a mini bar set up to buy drinks. The ONLY downfall is that there was A LOT of construction, which isn't their fault. I recommend going early, but it is well worth it.

Easily one of the most underrated places in San Angelo…read more 1. Pay attention to other reviews, most are from 2-5 years ago. Kind of hard to judge a place from outdated reviews. 2. The area it's located in is a little less desirable, but the inside is clean and inviting. Don't judge this book by its cover. 3. The bowling alley is MUCH better than the other one in town. We went on a Sunday afternoon, didn't have to wait for a lane, good selection of balls, and quick resolution of the one issue we had with pins resetting. 4. We didn't do laser tag or play arcade games, but both were available. The arcades appeared to be operated by a refillable card, not coins/bills. 5. They have general concessions, plus ice cream and alcohol. The popcorn is self serve, so you can use as much butter and salt your unhealthy heart desires! If you get nachos, you get to add your cheese and jalapeños, so again, as much as you want. 6. Drinks were self-serve. Overall, this is a pretty cool spot to spend an afternoon at, with or without kids. Customer service was great on the movie theater/concession side. If you typically visit the other movie theater and bowling alley in town, I encourage you to give Icon a try! I'm glad I did!

I said that I had it for medical reasons, but I was told that I could buy water and leave mine in the car. They tried to make me exchange my small icee for a bottle of cheap water. The waters here cost $5 and there's absolutely no way I was going to do that. I had to put my water back in the car, and come all the way back in while the employees huddled in a little group and stared at me. I can understand a no outside food or drink rule, but if I'm buying something and I need my own water for medical reasons, it's absolutely ridiculous to try to make me buy a smaller crappier one. I absolutely will not be coming back, and would recommend that anyone looking for a theatre go to cinemark instead. They have better quality facilities and MUCH better customer service. -10/10 wouldn't recommend going here.

So, I informed her that it's playing - she wants to go. Arrived for the 2pm showing (only $5.75ea, great deal) - picked out our seats and went in. We are the only ones in this Theater - it's like a Private Showing and that's really cool. Our Seats (love those lounges) are in the middle of the theater and we both set them back as far as they would go - nice and comfy - but the do have a strong sweaty odor (that's bad). Raised up the Arm Rest and saw at least 60+ Popcorn under the Arm Rest. Placed it back down and relocated out seats. These seats also have that bad odor but no Popcorn under the Arm Rest. Enjoyed the movie but hated the odor in the Theater. When the movie was over I was going to raise up all the other Arm Rest but decided not too because the Lounges had that bad odor. I did raise up the one where I found the Old Popcorn. Hopefully they will clean this - and the other Theaters - better. We are not going back for several months because they don't clean very well.
