The Premiere Cinema is now a Premiere Lux Cinema. New reclining chairs with a swinging table. Nice! We had been going to Cinemark theaters. Then I found out that Premiere has AYCE popcorn! I love movie theater popcorn! All the theaters in town are the same price, same movies, same high price concession stand. So AYCE popcorn gets my vote! And yes, I can eat a lot of popcorn! One of the worst theaters I have been to lately. Seats are ripped, water fountains do not work. Will not accept cash , a machine must be used to convert cash to their credit and I was told that it will not give you change back . Sounds like a scam to me. Comfortable seating. Movie picture was clear. Popcorn was fresh. Not bad for a movie theater in a mall. Right down from buffalo wild wings.

Just finish watching The Dilemma Vince Vaighn & Kevin James. Playing at the Mall of Abilene, Premiere Cinema Ten. Not exactly what I was expecting, kind of a buddy film crossed with a romance chick flick. Over all pretty good story line and the film works. I'd give it a Thumbs Up. Went to see Oz The Great and Powerful today. We didn't have a bad experience. It was a little dirty when you first walk in, but I think that's due to the concession stand being right in the front. People would drop popcorn and stuff. The seats were fine, didn't smell any odor. The only thing I didn't care for was, how the screen was positioned. Kinda high up to the ceiling. If we sat up high the screen would look tiny. If we sat low, we'd be staring straight up. Other than that it wasn't bad. read more

Went here after not going for a while but they had a movie other places didn't. Looks like they renovated and the new seats were great. I am 350lbs and it was plenty big and comfy for me. Recline was nice and these even had an adjustable headrest that goes up and down as well. The screen was nice looking easy to see from any seat. Very good experience and I would recommend it a good place to watch a movie and relax. read more

You are going to either get a poor theatrical experience or a really super duper piss poor theatrical experience here. This is why people buy large screen TVs and projectors. We were sent into the nearest of two screens playing We Bought A Zoo by the ticket taker. I was aghast at the small screen size and the fact that it was way up in the air touching the theater ceiling! When the film didn't start on time I walked out and asked the employee what was going on with the start time. Turned out the earlier showing started in a newer theater down a long hallway. That theater did have a better larger screen. Wonder how many other people this donkey sent to the small screen? read more

Decent theater, decent staff. My problem is the quality of the product. I guess Abilene just really is THAT boring and wants to keep it that way. 5 movie theaters in this town and every one of them show the EXACT SAME MOVIES. Every week. Coming from San Antonio, I loved having variety in the type of movies being offered there! There were foreign films, Indie films, box office bonanzas were not all that was ever offered, like here in Abilene. Apparently the new XD theater will be exactly the same as the others, now with just a better seat to nap in. read more

Currently, this is my favorite movie theater in Abilene. The seats are comfortable and they seem to get some of the best movies. I will say that the theater I was in last night had not been given the trash once over from the showing before. It was quite a mess and we were attending the 7:00 showing in the largest theater so it seems they would have gotten it cleared out. This has not been my usual experience though. Must have been a staffing snafu. One other thing...you don't want to get stuck in one of the tiny theaters unless not many folks are there. This movie theater is very run down. Every other seat cushion was slashed with exsposed wire. Every row was like this. There was even duct tape holding some of the stair lights down. Don't waste your money. Go to a different theater. read more

I went to see Concussion here because it was not showing at the Century Theatre. I have been here before and also had bad experiences; however, my son actually had to go to the manager and ask them to start the movie. We could hear the movie starting, with sounds of a football game, but there was no picture. The theatre was also not cleaned between screenings and my son and I walked on popcorn hulls to get to our seats and the seat next to me had trash still tucked into it. Very unprofessional. I would rather wait for a movie to come out on DVD than to sit through that theatre again. read more

Older looking, but good picture and sound and the seats are the most comfortable out of the Abilene cinemas.

Why every time I come here I have to go tell the staff to start the movie? I know last 3-4 times I have come during day I have had to go tell start movie hasn't started. The sound doesn't work a lot of times. It clearly seems like it is just here and unfortunately it is playing movies in town you can't see elsewhere. Seems to be poorly managed. read more

Have not had the best experiences here.. Theaters smell musty and moldy.. Twice now they couldn't get movies to play and tried to just give us a gift certificate for the amount but I argued that I payed for a service they didn't deliver they need to give the money back.. There was a group of kids running up and down the stairs and shouting during the movie. Although security and an usher came in they where never removed from the movie. And they continued to be loud during the movie and run up and down the stairs. It took me out of the movie and I couldn't enjoy the movie. read more

Yea me and my girl friend decided to use the free passes i got from your theater. I got them when i watch the dark knight rises due to the ac not working.. So we used the tickets last night at the showing of ted at 9:45 on aug 4. We get in the movie and look forward to the show. agin the ac is terrible. It was rather hot in there and we were sweating threw the show. We had to fan our selves to kind of keep cool but who wants to do that a movie. we weren't the only people fan our selves either. I don't under stand it if you know the ac is not working then why don't they tell you when you are getting the tickets... it was cooler in the lobby than the movie theater. i don't under stand that. i figure it would be the other way around.. maybe the movie should be shown out there. i don't know if i can every go to this theater agin. i would much rather stay at home than watch a movie in the heat because i work out side. I don't want to be in the heat all day. i thought going out was suppose to be pleasant and it was not..... The air went out on the 7 o'clock show and as a result everyone that came to the 9:45 was told that it was hot, not only at the boxoffice but at the usher stand as well. The heat wave that Texas has been experiencing is very hard on any air unit. A technician was onsite trying to take care of the issue but was unable to do so until the following morning. We try very hard to maintain a pleasant atmosphere but equipment failure is sometimes unavoidable. We would have gladly given you new passes had you decided to leave instead of sit thru the feature. We apologize for your unpleasant experience and hope that if you decide to give it another chance you'll have a more positive time. Out of the three movie theaters it is my second favorite but it does not mean much being carmike is trash and century is pretty much amazing. Every time I go in the lighting in the lobby is very dark making me question how clean it is. The theaters also smell horrible, reminds me of kid pee. If given the chance I go to century but with the limited movie theaters in town sometimes I don't have a choice sadly read more
