Honest and fair…read more Thought I had issues with transmission as I felt a 'thump' a couple seconds after pressing on the accelerator from a stand still but no so much going down the road and accelerating. My vehicle make/model/year is known to have transmission issues around 150k miles. A/C was working intermittently. Worked fine for the first few minutes of driving and then would turn off automatically. When it turned off, I would press the button, and the light would blink three times, and the a/c would not turn on. Online search resulted in several possibilities that created this problem. On Tuesday, the engine overheated as I was driving on 281. Tried all the normal stuff but overheated again within two miles. At this point, being stuck on the side of 281, I decided to get it to a repair shop. I first called Hendrix; however, they could not get to my vehicle for about 7 days as they were backed up. I then called Gear Guys and they said it would be about 5 days before they could take a look as they were backed up with work. My friends recommended Ritchie Automotive (they have used them for 15+ years). Called Ritchie Automotive, explained the situation and that it was my only vehicle. I had it towed to their shop and they looked at it on Wednesday. Called me with the repair quote and started work that day. It was ready on Thursday. Turned out to be a problem with the motor mounts and not the transmission. There was a very small crack in the radiator that allowed the coolant to leak out slowly so it was not noticeable (like a broken radiator hose would be). This caused the engine to overheat which in turn, cause the AC to turn off. Very pleased with the level of customer service, the work, the fairness in pricing and the honesty! Ritchie Automotive will be my 'go to' for any future repairs that I can't (or simply do not want to) fix myself. For what it is worth, they are a Christian based company.     Zero stars. Called because we need a starter replaced on our vehicle. We have the parts just need…read morethe labor. Was quoted $150. Had a verbal agreement to come out Wednesday evening. Said would be at our house at 8pm. Didnt show. Husband text. Changed the date for Thursday at 4pm. Confirmed via text during the day we were still set for 4pm. At 4pm states he is stuck in traffic but on the way. About 4:30 says he is here. He is not. Call him states is at a different address across town and it wasn't worth it to come do our service. I can't speak to the quality of his work since no work was performed. But his communication skills are lacking.

Well, luckily we just found that gem, Intune Mobil Mechanic. Wifey's car battery was DOA , and stuck inside our garage. Unfortunately, it's on the type of car that has the battery buried behind the air vent and other parts. Not the kind of replacement I want to take on and if you also have gorilla hands & a poor sense of touch, then you will understand why. Put a call for Yelp in and Julian was the first to respond. Explained the situation and he provided a fair quote for the work. We set it up for the following morning and he was there, as promised. Julian's work was on time , did great work, friendly , easy to communicate with thru text and above all, honest. Glad I got to be his first review on Yelp. Hopefully, others will try him out, and also have the same experience. Thanks again , you are in my contact list for future work and I'll be sure to contact you the next time I even consider having my oversize mittens tackle a sensitive mechanical task.

    I purchased an extended warranty for my GV80 that prominently advertised windshield replacement…read morecoverage. When my windshield cracked -- beginning at the top edge where the glass meets the frame -- I attempted to file a claim, only to discover after multiple phone calls and weeks of delay that the policy apparently only covers road-hazard damage, a limitation that is not clearly communicated when the warranty is sold. The claim was denied, despite the fact that the crack originated at the frame and did not appear to be caused by a rock strike. I spent months attempting to resolve the issue with the service manager, who repeatedly indicated he would "try to help" by contacting the warranty company, but ultimately stopped responding altogether. After six months of worsening damage, I requested to speak with the general manager. He never returned my call. Instead, a service advisor contacted me and explicitly suggested that I file a new claim and say that I "caught a rock yesterday" so that the warranty company would approve the repair. To be clear, this was a suggestion to misrepresent the facts in order to obtain coverage -- something I refused to do. Between: --Misleading warranty sales practices --Weeks-long delays in basic information --Ignored calls and emails --Failure of management to respond And finally being advised to falsify a claim, this has been one of the most disappointing dealership experiences I have had in decades of vehicle ownership. I purchased a luxury vehicle expecting professional and ethical service. Instead, I received evasiveness, poor communication, and advice that crossed a serious ethical line. Buyers should carefully read the fine print on any extended warranty sold here and document all communications. I would strongly caution others before relying on this dealership for warranty service.

They gave us a great deal on a GV80 Coupe and we flew from Oklahoma City to San Antonio where Sina picked us up from the airport. Ken was our finance guy and was wonderful. If you think you've seen a classy dealership before, I promise you Genesis of NW San Antonio will top it. Nothing but consumate professionals throughout their gorgeous facility and everybody was so friendly and nice.
