I called my insurance company and they arranged to have her towed from the house to Stallings on a Thursday afternoon. John called from Stallings later that day to give me an estimate and tell me what the problem was I gave him the green light and got the call she was ready for pick up on Friday. New starter for exactly what the estimate was and no more. The guys at Stallings got right on my truck went right to work diagnosed "Correctly" my problem & gave me a fair local market estimate on money and time then went to work on repairs. My eyes were immediately attracted to Sun Auto so I called to see if there was any way to get my son's car repaired before the holiday weekend. By mid-day Friday, I had an estimate for the repairs and a commitment that the car would be repaired on Saturday. Thomas had already sourced the parts before he spoke to me. Took my girlfriend's Camry in here a few months ago for suspected timing chain replacement and they…read moresimply told us it needed a new motor for 6k. Timing chain was perfectly fine actually, I popped the motor open, checked everything out and replaced the intake side VVT sprocket which is known to commonly go out on these. Runs absolutely perfect now for the past 15k miles. Fixed it for $300 when these guys would've charged me $6,000 simply due to lazy diagnostics. I'm sure they're fine for suspension work and regular maintenance and it seems my experience was a one off with an otherwise reputable shop, but laziness like this cannot be accepted. Avoid at all costs for motor work.

Said would be at our house at 8pm. Didnt show. Husband text. Changed the date for Thursday at 4pm. Confirmed via text during the day we were still set for 4pm. At 4pm states he is stuck in traffic but on the way. About 4:30 says he is here. He is not. Call him states is at a different address across town and it wasn't worth it to come do our service. I can't speak to the quality of his work since no work was performed. But his communication skills are lacking.
