I figure it would have taken me about 5 hours to do this work when I was their age (I'm 72). That equates to $875 an hour for labor. My attorney only charged me $250 an hour last year. My house already had a water softener and they didn't try to upsell me at all, the rep said it was doing a great job. I had them install a reverse osmosis system at my kitchen sink for drinking water. The installation was quick, clean, friendly, perfect. Since having the system installed they have been great about contacting me to remind me to replace ("rotate") the filters and have never tried to upsell me. I love that! Just now they called to let me know that the manufacturer of the system has found a fault in a connector or something and they are proactively contacting their customers to get that fixed before the manufacturer even issues a recall or the like. They're coming at no charge to me to fix it and even rotate my filters at no cost (except the new filter cost of course). I honestly don't remember what I paid for the system, it was not exorbitant, and the filter cost is about $50/year. The water is perfect and delicious and I never buy bottled water. GREAT!

My wife did tell me she thought the water was hard numerous times just days after it was installed. Clearsoft Water Conditioning tested the water and said it was good. Several years passed with it not working quite right. I called for service numerous times and got no call back. I called the factory in Wisconsin where they make the unit and spoke with their main service advisor. I was told someone would contact me and get it resolved. It has been over a year and nobody has contacted me. My warranty has expired since. I will not be using Clearsoft Water Conditioning for any of my needs going forward. I do not recommend their products or services based on my experience. Find someone else that will support what they sell. Very disappointed. The unit will be getting removed for scrap.

I used them for years for a softener until their service just became so bad. New employees every time and untrained. Not even able to change a filter and then they broke my pipes leaving them leaking and just left my house. After I fixed their mistake I canceled my service by phone and email. I cleaned their equipment and they picked it up days later. Now they're billing me, even charging me late fees, when I don't even have any equipment of theirs anymore. There accounting is just as bad as their service and I have recently talked with an attorney about my next steps for their fraudulent invioces. This is a very badly run company! Beware.......
