The store had been open for about 20 minutes and empty. The salesman helping us was an extreme deterrent. His answers were short and abrasive and he seemed annoyed to be answering anything we asked. He walked away from us, for no apparent reason, several times and we literally had to search the store to find him. What a major disappointment. In addition, as I was looking for my salesman, I passed another salesman and I nodded and said hello. This guy walked by me and turned his head. We were going to place an order but decided that we needed to go to a different Bob's because this isn't the way you treat customers. I hope the management reads this and retrains the staff here.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT HOME DEPOT…read more My wife and I were driving there for our first time purely on a hunch looking for a rose fertilizer that we couldn't find any where else. I don't normally give 5 stars to an establishment solely on a whim but Starkie caught me by surprise. Their plants for one looked healthy and weren't beat up by a lack of water or crated in like a surplus haul that we have seen at Home Depot. This Garden center was huge and made us feel that we were out on a farm in Amish Country. The whole Garden Center sits on a 1.2 to 1.5 or 57,000 square foot plot selling hard to find items that one would never see at Home Depot nor Lowes. *Large Parking Lot *The grounds clean, shelf items organized, cashiers eager to help you. Main building open and airy with a huge skylight allowing for plenty of natural lighting. *Property consists of 4 main buildings each dedicated to their own service of sales. Even though our purchase was small and our stay was brief, this Garden Center actually made for a lasting impression of quality on us. It is hard to predict if we will be ever purchasing again from them because of cost and distance from our home but at least for now it will be something to consider. *The Review Guru Long Island NY

He is a kind seasoned salesman that was never pushy, just very informative and knowledgeable of current deals and discounts, and helped navigate us to what we were looking for. He did run into some tablet connection issues when processing our order, but stayed calm and cool while troubleshooting, even bringing a floor manager in to aid forward when it was still failing him. They made us aware of recent software updates the chain recently had, and quickly pivoted to complete the transaction successfully. I highly recommend and will continue to come to this location for future upcoming needs.

I drove there, picked up a Nightstand I payed for, did a quick inspection and everything looked good. Got home and the drawers do not open. And the nightstand smells horrible, it's giving me a migraine. I didn't know I was ordering a fresh batch of formaldehyde and VOC's. Called em up and they had the nicest customer service in the world. Just kidding, they went ahead and blamed me for not inspecting it good enough. What great customer service, blame it all on the customer. They also told me they can't give me a refund, so now I am out on my money and Raymour and Scam Again got paid for a garbage, chemical smelling nightstand that's gonna go right to the curb.

About five years ago after hauling my hose and sprinklers around my yard, I convinced my wife that…read morewe should invest in an irrigation system. We did some research and found that a few of my friends loved the guys from Automatic Sprinkler Corp and while they are based in Long Island they work all over the New York Metropolitan area. We did get some estimates from different companies and found that some companies do not get permits and can do the job for less dollars but when you go to sell your house, you'll have problems! We went with Automatic and each year I am happier! Our lawn looks green and plush and my tomatoes and flowers look awesome but the best part is these guys are very reasonable. The initial cost was much less than we thought we'd have to spend and having the guys come and check our system in the spring ( to turn on the system) mid summer ( to make sure the sprinklers aren't buried under our bushes ) and in the fall ( to turn off and make sure all the lines are working efficiently ). I feel like we have enhanced our value of our home and don't have to work so hard to keep my landscape looking great. Also the sprinklers go on in the middle of the night when no one will get wet walking to the train and the water pressure is strong! Even if you have another company who installed your sprinkler, you should consider switching to these guys to do the servicing!
