They are wonderful and very understanding. During my last visit, one of the nurses gave me some great, practical tips for managing my allergies, even sharing what works for her own kids, which I really appreciated. The Cons: My initial experience was a total nightmare due to insurance hurdles. While that isn't the fault of the practice itself (third-party insurance is the absolute worst), it definitely made the start of my journey here rocky. More recently, they've implemented a new sign-in sheet process. Since this was a change from previous visits, I mistakenly thought it was only for new patients. When the front desk clerk asked me to sign in, she responded with a confused look and a bit of a rude tone. It was a minor friction point, but a little more patience for returning patients adjusting to the new workflow would go a long way!

Straw that broke our trust in her abilities is when we took my mom for symptoms and instead of evaluating her condition, doc kept blaming other specialist (that she had referred us to go see). And next day our family doctor figured out that my mom's symptoms were from interaction between two medicines - one of them Doc Bakhtari had just prescribed few days ago. However, the doc never bothered to review the medicines for possible causes and on top of it referred us to go back to the same specialist for more invasive procedures.

After looking at their website. the providers seemed approachable, so I called to schedule an appointment.. that is as far as my visit went with this clinic. Nobody answered the phone, but they did give an option to leave a voicemail. I did so asking them to call me back. About 2 hours later, I received a call back (Not bad turn around time at all), but the girl on the other end of the phone seemed almost annoyed that she was having to schedule my appointment. She had zero energy. I let her know I wanted to schedule a wellness update/physical and was hoping to do so on July 7, because I had already taken the day off for a different appointment. She stated that I could have bloodwork done on the 7th, but would need to come back for the physical. I approve of the idea of the providers going over the bloodwork at the physical, but I would rather not take off another day for doctor appointments, so I asked if I could get all of the labs and testing done on the same day on the 7th and schedule a follow up appointment to go over the results instead of just coming in for a 5 minute visit to give blood on the day that I have already taken off of work, since I would then have to take a second day off work to have the rest of the physical completed. She was not willing to work with me. She stated that I could give the blood on the 7th and would have 30 days to get the physical done. This does not solve my dilemma. She essentially told me she couldn't help me and we hung up. I called back about 5-6 minutes later to ask if I could come in today or on Monday for the bloodwork to see if that would give them enough turn around time to do the physical on the day that I am already taking off work, but I got the voicemail again. Calling a doctors office and never being able to get a hold of a person is incredibly frustrating. Finally getting a hold of a person and having them exude an air of hatred for their job is even more frustrating. These doctors are probably great, but I will never know, because the front office girl that I spoke to makes the entire office seem unpleasant.
