My pool has honestly never looked better--every time I arrive, it's sparkling blue instead of cloudy or green, and there are very little leaves stuck to the bottom. I was especially impressed that the technician took the extra step of filling the pool with water during service, something no other company has done before. If you're considering making a switch, I highly recommend contacting Nick with Signature Pool Care.

You have my credit card information and approval to process payment on a monthly basis, as you have since summer of last year. So I really hope I don't hear back about "non-payment". If you like having communication with a contractor during a project forget it you will have to initiate/hound and may or may not get a response. If you ask... with what they think are too many questions... they will get annoyed and things get worse. Once you pay them the second big deposit work starts slowing down. We have had very nice days when they show up for an hour and leave and don't return for days or a week or more. If you opt for a concrete pool deck watch out for getting the Cool Crete they offer as the finish is very very rough on bare feet and inconsistent texture. Understand work defined in the contract and monitor what has been accomplished. We had $3,600 worth of work that required credit on the next payment we had to bring to their attention. With our project they didn't keep accurate records of color selections and asked us at least two times what we had chosen. During the final hookups the autofill line was leaking because a 90 degree PVC connector was not connected properly or glued. Avoid VIP Pool and Spa LLC and Jacob Shankland for pool service…read more I do not recommend doing business with Jacob Shankland or VIP Pool and Spa LLC. My experience was incredibly unprofessional. Weekly service was sporadic. He or his designated employee failed to show up for weekly service for 12 weeks over 10 months of service. Despite what is clearly stated in the service agreement, I never received a refund for the services that were never performed but paid for! Worse, he became non-responsive, to my inquiries. This is not just poor customer service--this is completely unethical business practice. Save yourself the frustration and choose a company that values professionalism, integrity, and honoring written agreements. Update: Jacob Shankland did reimburse me for missed service after I posted this review.
