Since my last review four years ago, my opinion has changed...new people, better organization..The place is best for pedicures and gel manicure. I think all of the technician's work hard and are very attentive. In the summer, they are EXTREMELY busy, so have patience and call ahead, don't go at obvious busy times if you don't want to wait a while (i. e. bad weather out). My gel nails last way longer than any other salon I've gone to and I have been to a bunch in Boston and southern NH. read more

Hands down the worst salon experience I've ever had. Went in here today with two friends for pedicures that lasted about 20 minutes. One guy was so rough with my friend that her toe was bleeding heavily for 5-10 minutes. We both had to ask them to tend to it and to ease up because she was in so much pain. My nails were so poorly painted that I had to ask another person to remove the red nail polish that was everywhere on my toes but the nails. They looked like they were painted by a child. At the end when we asked not to pay full price for our friend who was in pain, the owner wouldn't even talk to us herself, but asked her employee to give us a measly $5 off and told us they assisted her all they could. This is the first time we have left a salon without wanting to leave a tip. Highly recommend going anywhere else in Meredith but here. read more

Terrible! My 7year old son could of painted my nails better. I'll never go back. Worse place ever and I waited for a long time

Been going to salon for 3 years. Nina and her technicians do a great job. I have gel done on my nails. The most important thing to me is that she always preserves the health of my nails. She never rushes. My nails have remained in great condition; as opposed to some ' rush them in and out' where they drill and drill. Great place! read more

Stopped in for a pedicure with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. Only a few customers in the place but the woman who greeted us seemed put out by our arrival. Told us it would be a 20 minute wait and we said no problem we can wait. About 10 minutes later were in the pedicure chairs. I had a tech who was very rough with my feet, complained that he didn't like the color I chose and didn't remove all of my old polish. I can see the old color coming through under the new color! Pedicure was very quick and not relaxing. My feet and toes hurt afterwards due to the roughness. My friend advised that she wasn't thrilled with her pedicure either. For $30 each we both felt that the service could have been better and the cost should have been $20 or $25. I was visiting the adorable town of Meredith and wanted to treat myself to a manicure/pedicure. When I entered the salon, I was greeted with the feeling that I was "disturbing" them! Two of the staffers were sitting down playing on their phones. I was told to find a color....Once I sat in the chair for my pedicure, it was rough and rushed. A regular customer had since sat down and was helped. She was familiar with the staff and was treated 100% differently than I was. After only a few minutes, my pedicure was over! The staffer began to empty the water and paint my nails. There had been absolutely NO work done on my cuticles or heels. When I asked if he would please attend to those, he began to yell at me! He told me I needed to ask for that service in the beginning! It was $10 extra. When I agreed to pay the extra $10, since my heels really need tending to, he wouldn't stop saying...You should tell me this ahead of time, you should tell me this ahead of time....I tried to explain that I have never had to pay EXTRA or tell anyone to work on my cuticles or heels. The person next to me proceeded to receive a nice leg massage. Did I? NOPE! Why I didn't get up and walk out, I am not sure. I think I was in shock as to the rudeness of the people at this salon. If I had to pick a place for the fastest pedicure I have ever had this is the place! 20 min from start to finish. They definitely won the race. The lower leg massage was more like a I touched your leg and that counts. I thought for sure it was a joke until he took out the polish after barely scrubbing my feet. I so wanted my nails painted so I had that done and asked the manager if a leg massage was supposed to be included since it wasn't and she took money off. She was so unfriendly before I even said anything and looked angry in general. One lady said she normally goes there but everyone seemed so mad today. First time ever I didn't leave a tip. WORST ACRYLIC FILL EVER! I decided to give this place two chances seeing as this is the only close nail salon to me. First time was okay...this past time, my nails are different widths than the other hand, the top of the nails are bumpy and not even! It took her 20 minutes to do a fill when the other places I've been to take an hour. They are not friendly people either, every time someone walks in they are being bothered to help you. read more

I spent $75 + $10 tip for uv gel. Didnt even last a day the corners snapped off. Went back to the salon they fixed them for free today HOWEVER, they are chipping and it hasnt even been a day! Dont waste your money or time there. As far as the owners comments about steralizing the implements after each client, NOT true. Witnessed this myself, they rinse them in the sink put a little soap on them scrub a little with a brush and put them back into their plastic case and brought right over to the next clent. read more

I have been to this place once before just for removal of a gel manicure polish. I wasn't impressed with the gel polish removal the first time. They didn't get all the gel off of my nails. So, this time I made an appt. for a regular mani/pedi. They placed me at the pedi chair about 10 minutes after my scheduled appt. I sat in the chair with my feet soaking for close to a 1/2 hour. There was no acknowledgement of my presence once my feet were soaking, not even an "I'll be with you soon.....sorry for the delay", etc. I almost walked out. I finally got my mani/pedi after much ado. I'm not pleased with either the mani or the pedi, very sub-par work. The manicurist(?) I had could barely speak English and was just shoving my foot into the water, pulling a foot or hand to indicate what his intentions were. There were approximately five workers on staff and they repeatedly spoke in their native language and laughed. Whether they were just communicating easily in their native language or talking about the clients, who knows. It was just very rude. I am not biased or prejudiced, as I go to regular Asian nail salons in other States and never feel as uncomfortable as I did here. Not impressed and my nails look terrible and one normally healthy nail was ground down so flimsy from the removal of the original gel polish. Not impressed. read more

I have been a customer since the salon opened and am very pleased with the service. My nails have always been a problem but now they look the best ever. Find the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Love the fact the nail equipment is taken out of a special packet for each customer and the tubs are sanitized after each pedicure. Wonderful caring environment read more

Probably the worst pedicure I have ever received. The guy doing my pedi didn't remove all the polish from the previous one. My 4 year old Grandson would have done a better job painting my toes. I literally had pink polish all over my toes!!! Save your $, do them yourself. read more

Just had my nails done today by Nina, and as always, I love them!! I've been a regular client at Premier Nails almost since the day they opened their doors. Nina is professional and pleasant. I always look forward to my appointments with her; we have a few laughs, and I leave feeling relaxed and pampered! Never have I been disappointed, even on the rare occasion that a different technician has done my nails. I highly recommend! See you in two weeks! read more

I am having a hard time typing this review as I have 6 infected fingers! It all began 5 days ago when I went to Premier Nails to have a gel manicure and pedicure before our out of state guests arrived. I am from out of state, have had many gel treatments, and had gel polish on my fingers and toes when I arrived. A male employee immediately put nail polish remover and another substance on cotton and wrapped my finger nails and toe nails in foil. After a few minutes he unwrapped my toes and began the pedicure process while leaving the foil on my finger nails. By pedicure process I mean he put some lotion on my feet and legs and then prepared to paint my toes. The biggest reason I was there was to have my callouses and feet buffed. However, when I asked if he was going to scrub my feet he said he didn't do that, but that I could pay $10 extra dollars to have a special callous treatment. Where I live we call that a polish change....not a pedicure. Did I mention a gel pedicure is $50?!?! As he was doing my toes I noticed that my fingers were starting to tingle. I didn't say anything at first, but then not only did my fingers start to throb, but the pain moved up my hands and arms as well. When I mentioned it to him he acted perturbed that I was interrupting him as he got me a bowl of water and told me to soak my fingers. No change. My fingers, hands and forearms were throbbing. When he was done the pedicure, he began the manicure process. He took off the foil and I noticed my finger nails had an odd color to them. When I asked him about it he told me my salon at home didn't put the correct primer on my nails. As he did my nails he was very rough and cut me while trimming my cuticles. I bled. When he was all done the gel color looked nothing like the color I chose, I still had huge callouses on my feet, and I was in pain! The pain continued all night and in the morning I noticed blood pooling under my nail beds. So much so that eventually the gel separated from the nail. Then another nail started to ache. Days later I had 6 fingers that were really hurting me. I wasn't able to get back to the salon until 5 days later the minute my company left. I walked into the salon, told them what happened and shared my bloody fingers. The male looked unfazed and asked me what I wanted him to do about it. I told him I wanted my money back and for him to take the gel off my nails. He spoke to the female manager and after telling me that I probably had weak nails because their customers have never had issues before, she agreed to reimburse me. When he took off my polish my nails looked atrocious! He also made a comment under his breath that I probably bumped my nails. I could not have been more dumbfounded by both of their reactions! No apology...no taking ownership...no concern. I thanked him for reimbursing me and told him that I was appalled by their lack of customer service and would NEVER be back. I've since been told by many people that it looks like I need an antibiotic. I should make him pay!!!! read more
