An Absolutely Marvelous Spa Experience - 10/10!…read more I had the pleasure of visiting Tranquility Springs Spa at the Lake Opechee Inn last week, and from start to finish, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Becky, whose kindness and pleasant demeanor immediately set the tone for a relaxing visit. I booked a 90-minute massage with Ashley and a 70-minute facial with Summer, and I can confidently say both services were outstanding. I suffer from severe lower back pain, and without me even needing to explain in detail, Ashley intuitively knew how to release my piriformis -- something not many massage therapists pick up on without prompting. I live in California and regularly get massages and physical therapy, and yet I was truly blown away by Ashley's skill and professionalism. In fact, I was so impressed that I tried to book a second session before heading back to CA. From now on, every trip to New Hampshire will include a massage with Ashley -- that's non-negotiable. My facial with Summer was just as exceptional. She is not only incredibly joyful and warm but also highly knowledgeable. The facial was wonderfully relaxing -- minimal talking, which I personally prefer in a spa setting -- and the anti-aging products she used left my skin feeling absolutely luscious. I only get facials a couple of times a year, but I'll be timing them now to coincide with my visits to NH just so I can book with Summer again. The only thing I wish they had was a jacuzzi for soaking before or after treatments -- but even without it, this spa earns a solid 10/10 in my book. The combination of top-tier service, genuine hospitality, and high-level expertise makes Tranquility Springs a hidden gem. I'm so grateful I found this place!

I got a gift card from my sisters for Christmas because I had been recently diagnosed with…read moresomething that causes a lot of joint pain, etc. It was hard to find the time to book because of work, but I finally made an appt. I ended up needing to cover a coworker in Seabrook NH that day so I called tranquility two days in advance and said I can't make my appt because of work. They said no problem, it's cancelled, you're all set. A few months later I scheduled an appt again. I went in and had my massage. The lady at the counter took my gift card and gave me a receipt and I went on my way. I got a phone call about an hour later saying that I owe $60 because when I "didn't show for my last appt they took money off of my gift card automatically." I said I called and cancelled a few days before, she said I'm sorry they already took it off, it needs to be paid. I then went to voice my concerns to the manager and she said I needed to pay or they'll have to take other measures. I was extremely bummed and did not expect to be treated this way. If someone cancelled multiple times without enough notice I'd understand taking their money but I cancelled ahead of time and only cancelled once. That's the other thing, they didn't even tell me they took $60 off my card. If I had known that in advance, I wouldn't have gone. If you can find a different spa, I would.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMT. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE THE WORST HAIR SALON…read moreEXPERIENCE THEN YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST ITS TERRIBLE . Extremely terrible place to get your hair done honestly if I could have given it 0 stars I would. The stylist wasn't very knowledgeable about hair nor how to use a hot comb. I went in to get my hair blow dried straightened/ a Silk press then trim My hair was not blow dried properly it was never section to blow dry my fair was left super wet then she proceeded to start flat ironing my hair while's it was wet. When I mentioned it to hair she said not it's fine that isn't an issue. My hair was also never detangled before she started straightening it so while's she was straightening it, it was getting tangled and knotted up. When she was done she passed the scissors it my hair 4 times and told me she was done with my hair cute and then just for the hair cute alone I was charged $45 which wasn't done . If I wanted to pretend to have my hair cute I could have let my 5 year old daughter do that at home .

Blow-dry- was great. pedicure-tragic. dont do it there…read more.. its waste of money.. After my visit, i was happy with the way they did my hair, so i decided to do my nails there- pedicure. they told me for 50$ they clean and do the nails , massage your feet, put scrub and cream.... so i decided to try it. i felt so dissapointed, first, they didnt clean my nails at all, i had old nail polish and their nail polish remover did remove simple nail polish, so they had to file it, which was painful... then they were supposed to clean the feet with feet scruber, i got gentle going around the foot one time and this is what is supposed to be cleaning dead skin... after i was supposed to get foot massage, instead i got litteraly 10 seconds a leg applying scrub ... no massage or correctly appling the scrub... then quick losion aplience... after it was time to color the nails... which was applied like a 6y . o . no base, no mid color, no top color(not for gel), only the color i picked and it was put way too much, i was rushed to get it dry quickly. i was told the polish is dry and i can put my sandals on... but it wasnt so now i have nail polish on my cottom sandals and my nail polish is ruined... the way she tried to fix is on the messed up toes, she applied more nail polish and send me to pay... she didnt even clean and start over.... so dissapointed... for 50$ i got horrible service.... and they didnt have real chairs for pedicure so they used some buckets to soak my feet..... dont waste your money and go to a real nail salon... you will be so dissapointed... my nails were messed up before i even left the salon and my shoes cant be cleaned, i tryed so they are ruined because of the poor service. she was polite and nice to me, but her skills and the job she did is horrible. now i lost 50$ and need new sandals... and my toes look horrible... i need to go somewhere else to get it fixed and redone... so i have to spend even more money . i didnt get any massage, she was only doing the bottom of my feet, not the legs under the knees...
