SCAMMERS!!! BEWARE!! my car died at the car wash and these guys were right next door, they told me my alternator is dead and that the battery harness needs to be changed. these guys charged me 1350 for a simple alternator change (WHICH WAS NOT NEEDED) then when I told him absolutely not that it's insane for that price, the guy "moe" or something, got super bummed out and said "you have to pay diagnostic fee -$250. I said "WHAT?!" This guy just checked it for probably 45ms and decided to still milk me after I told him no, then he calls me back 40m later saying he found a cheaper part for $900, embarrassing. My car died right there in the car wash when it happened so I felt like I had no choice. I just bite the bullet and paid him $200, plus a 10% fee for using card, very embarrassing. DO NOT GO HERE, THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF. Oh and I also got the car fixed by just cleaning my battery harness, no alternator changed needed. read more

Where do I start. I got to know these guys about a year ago. I was renting a car and was bringing it in for scheduled oil changes. I'm a DoorDash driver so I was there a lot. I also sat in the waiting room with other customers. I spoke to them about the service that they were getting. Every one of them said that they trusted Mustafa and Mohammed and would not let anyone else touch their car. I even saw a customer come in and saying he needed a break job. Mustafa took a look at them and said that he was fine and a break job was not needed. I have since gotten my own car that they worked on themselves. They put a new engine in it. The work was impeccable. Car runs absolutely fine. Very happy with the service. I don't see very many companies put their heart and soul into what they do. It is refreshing to see that at Premiere Motorwerks they all put their heart and soul into their work. Juan does an excellent job too. Everything was cool, I had amazing relationships with all mechanics, always appreciate their work, gave a tips and I really think, that it was a best body shop ever. But, a month ago I crashed my bumper. Than, I ordered a new one and came to the this Bodyshop to instal it. When guys saw my bumper, they started laugh and tell me a bullshit, like this bumper is broken, why I didn't order from their shop, bla bla bla whatever. I asked the price for installation, and one on mechanics continued his bullshit "Oh, it's gonna cost you 300$ bro, it's a very hard and long job, 4 ours labor!" After that, my eyes became circle. I took my bumper away from that place, came to Russian Bodyshop and there, in front of my eyes, guys changed it for 15 minutes and charged me 75$. If you want a good, reputable, and professional shop to service your vehicle, do NOT bring your vehicle to Premier Motorwerks. I brought my 2005 Audi S4 to Premier Motorwerks in Skokie on Friday, 8-29-14, to have 2 new front axles installed. During the installation, I was informed that the shop had damaged the front left lower control arm, and tried charging me $160 for the part. After speaking to the shop manager, we resolved the issue by only charging me a third of the parts price (if they damaged it, should they not be liable for the entire price of the part? That's another story). After about an hour, the vehicle was returned to me. After driving for about 8-10 miles, I heard a loud clunk that came from the front left side of the vehicle. Upon inspection, I noticed that the front lower left control arm that was just installed had become loose and disconnected from the wheel hub, rendering the car immovable, and stuck in the middle of the street. After waiting about 5 hours, the vehicle was finally picked up by a towing company (which by the way, the shop refuses to reimburse me for the towing fees). The following morning, the vehicle was dropped off at Premier Motorwerks so that they can assess the damages and repair the vehicle. After about a week I was given an update on the vehicle. I was informed by the shop manager (Francisco) that the vehicle had been sent to a body shop to repair the front left fender and the bumper. I was told that they were waiting for new parts to arrive (new front left lower control arm, new front left axle), and that the wheel that was damaged had been sent to Wheels of America to be refinished. A few days later, I was told by Francisco that Wheels of America had damaged the tire while trying to mount it on the wheel, and that I had to wait for a new tire to arrive. Ok, no problem. A week passes and the new tire still had not arrived, but I was informed by Francisco that all the parts have arrived and have been installed, and was just awaiting a new tire to arrive. The following day I called to check on the status of the new tire, and I was told that they cannot locate the tire brand that was originally on the vehicle, and that they would try and obtain a tire with the same specifications and tread pattern that I can use until the original tire arrives. I finally pick up the vehicle on Tuesday, 9-16-14. Upon inspection, I noticed that the rear bumper now had dents, which were covered up with mismatched paint (I found it odd that the vehicle was parked in reverse into one of the service bays when I arrived at the shop - but I digress). Upon further inspection, I noticed more damages to the vehicle that were not there when the vehicle was dropped off by the tow company. The damages are: -Dents on the rear bumper - left side. -Both wheels on the right side had curb rashes (mind you, these are brand new wheels purchased only a few months prior, which were mounted and balanced and installed by Premier Motorwerks). -Front bumper is misaligned (brand new bumper installed in May by another shop). -Front lower splitter on the bumper was cracked in the middle (this was brand new - installed in May by another shop. Part was ordered from Germany, which took over 4 months to arrive - $400 for this part alone). -Cracked front lower grill on the front bumper. I spoke to Francisco, the shop manager, who stated that he will speak to the shop owner, Adil Sunny Raja, in regards to repairing these damages that were not there before. The following day (9-17-14), I spoke to the shop owner who stated that they are not responsible for these damages. I was informed by the shop owner that they are not responsible for any damages incurred while the vehicle is in their possession. He also stated that the vehicle already had these damages prior to them working on it on 8-29-14, which to me is quite insulting, for the vehicle was in near perfect condition (body wise) prior to them taking it on 8-30-14. I was directed by the shop owner to contact the towing company to have them repair the damages. I spoke to the manager at North Shore Towing and was informed that even if the tow truck had damaged these things on the vehicle, it is the shops responsibility to repair the damages, for they are the ones that did the work that caused the damages to begin with. He also stated that the tow vehicle operator, Mike, is VERY careful when he tows vehicles, and if needed, he can have Mike attest/be a witness to verify my claims that these damages were not on there before. After speaking to the tow company, I decided to head to Premier Motorwerks to obtain a copy of the list of parts that were replaced, which was not given to me when the vehicle was picked up on 9-16. I was told by Francisco that he cannot provide me with a copy, and that anything that I needed had to be taken care of the shop owner, who had left for the day. So, as it stands, I have a read more

Let's start by saying I'm a 19 year old female which makes me ultimately vulnerable to being scammed when it comes to mechanics. Well I also have a old car, early 2000's. I have been to previous mechanics but none of them which I felt are genuine or just plain too overpriced!! Anyways I came here per my dads recommendation as he had his audi's brakes done here. I had many things wrong with my car but only a few needed to be done now which included my cv joint boot I believe. So I decided to come out of my pocket $320 which is a lot for a college student to be spending in the first place! I'm pretty busy being that I'm a college student and work a part time so I wasn't able to pick it up exactly when it was done which was fine with them. I picked it up and it seemed to run just fine until I slowly start braking and lone behold there is a resistance which later my dad tells me is the ABS acting up. This shit was not acting up before my axel was repaired and I later called them so I could come in and show them. I come in on Wednesday and let me tell you, this piece of shit car does not act up once while he was driving it or when I decided to drive it with him being in the passenger. Wtf!!! He's describing the issue to me perfectly but still needs to "experience" it to know exactly what's wrong when he's telling me straight to my face!! You know what's wrong with it!!! Then he proceeds to tell me that I must have damaged it before they did the work, how sway how???????? I'm just so pissed off at this point, at this guy and at my car! Can never catch a break! Then I tell him I'll drop it off sometime Friday so he can possibly experience it for himself. Come Friday I arrive at 3, and his brother who is usually wearing a mechanics suit tells me he'll be out shortly, my ass. I was waiting and waiting until I just left. I'm contemplating on bring it back or just pulling the plug on that abs fuse because I honestly can't afford this car any longer, especially with mechanics ruining your shit! I'm done with this and this is for anyone considering on bringing your baby here, DONT!! Don't bring your foreign cars here, old or new cars, nothing! I was referred here by a friend of mine who used to live in the area. The reviews were good, so I decided to give them a try. I called them at 8am on a Wednesday morning and spoke to Moon. I let him know that my car was turning over, would run for a minute and then turned off. I had planned to have it towed in that afternoon before closing. The car was dropped off around 5pm on Wednesday afternoon and I was told that they would look at it in the morning. Thursday morning I did not hear from Moon. Early afternoon, I called and was told that they were very backed up and that they would get my car on the lift to look at next. Friday came and I tried calling multiple times through the day and was never able to get through to them. The phone would ring and ring and the voicemail was full. After work, I had my boyfriend take me over before closing to get a status update. Moon advised that he was very backed up and had one of his mechanics quit on him unexpectedly. He advised that he would give me a call tomorrow (Saturday) and would let me know what was going on with the car. Saturday around 2:30pm I get a voicemail from Moon advising that my car is done and ready to be picked up. I NEVER received a call to let me know what was wrong with my car and to approve that they do work on my car! I tried a few times the rest of the Saturday afternoon and again the phone would ring and ring and the voicemail was full. Come Monday (they are closed Sunday to my knowledge) I called first thing and was told that the car was fix and ready for pick up. I asked what the issue was with the car and Moon explained that it was a censor that needed to be replaced. I then asked what the total was and he replied that it was $450 for the censor replacement and the diagnostic testing to find out what was wrong with the car. I was taken aback by the high price and looked into what it should cost to get this censor replaced. I was advised by multiple reliable sources (online estimators, family who has been in used auto parts for many years, etc) that the censor is about $100 and takes maybe about 30 minutes to replace. The total on all of it should be $300 at maximum! I now felt like I had to pay them in order to get my car back despite the extremely high price and not asking me for authorization first! Upon arrival to the shop on Monday afternoon, I was handed an invoice that simply listed the censor fix and a price of $450. There was no break out of how much the part cost and how much labor was. In an effort to give Moon another chance, I asked for a break down of the parts and labor. He proceeded to show me a new censor that was $155 on the Auto Zone website. As I said, I had done my research and the part on the same website was only about $100. I then asked Moon about the labor. He advised that it took them 6 hours to figure out what was wrong with the car and that he was not charging my for all of that time. He also threw in that he was not going to charge me tax. At this point, I felt incredibly patronized and taken advantage of. I decided that if this is how this place does business that they clearly need the money more than I do. I paid Moon in full and decided that I learned my lesson and that I will not return. I have worked in customer service jobs my who life and am very understanding of a lot of things, but this situation had MANY issues. The lack of communication and customer service, combined with the extreme overpricing, is just completely ridiculous. I do not suggest that anyone take their car here! read more

Before taking my Corvette to Premier Motorwerks to get my Corsa axle back installed, I read the reviews on Yelp and everyone said good things about the shop. Once I got there, I met Adil at the front, very nice gentlemen got to help me carry the exhaust even with a bad foot from a motorcyle injury. Right away, I knew that the people cared about their customers. We started to talk about cars and he was also into cars as much as I was. We also realized that we had many mutual friends that were also car enthusiasts. Adil stated that he would take care of my car like its his own and make sure everything went perfect. After dropping it off, it took about 2-3 for it to finish. When I got there, I was very amazed at the installation job that this shop did, couldn't be any happier. I love my exhaust and would recommend this place to anyone that wants any performance modifications done to their car or any typical mechanical jobs such as brakes, oil changes, or any work done to their car. Another thing I noticed at the shop is that it was very clean and organized which says that owner's are also the same way with their work. Thank you Adil once again.
