I did end up trying to find some lamps for the side of the bed, that don't have to be wired, and those were actually on the back wall. Some cute selections, and price wise, it is a higher price point than what you'd find at Home Depot, but also many more options. Plus probably because it's all lighting, the price point is a little more steep. They did have some sales going on that brought the prices down quite a bit for some items, so was definitely worth checking out. I did end up finding a selection of what I was looking for but took some photos and will have to make a decision with the Mr. And make sure he deems it a solid selection for us. The lamps worked but buzzed annoyingly and could not find anyone who knew what ballasts would fit and work correctly. I searched the internet for hours with no luck and began to think no one knew of, much less stocked, ballasts that could replace the original 65 to 75 year old magnetic ballasts. I decided to try City Lights in Phoenix. To my amazement, the City Light guys knew what would work and even told me the ballast case of the ballasts they stocked could be removed so the the ballasts would fit my fixture. They were reasonably priced and I ordered a set. They arrived in 2 days and looked well made and worked perfect. I'm set for another 65 to 75 years thanks to City lights. Don Larson

He flipped it back on, tested the outlet, and confirmed it was working -- the entire fix took just a few minutes. Despite the simplicity of the issue, I was charged the full $285 minimum. I understand service calls have overhead, but I feel strongly that a charge this significant should be communicated clearly at the time of scheduling, not after the technician has already been to my home and the work is done.
