I always thought you had to knock the while thing down. He also offered advice on our water drainage from the roof. Then he promised to send me some contacts for people who could do the work if I wanted to, but again told me nothing structural is going on, so we don't have to. He didn't charge a fee. But its my policy that everybody's time is worth money. He refused the amount I was originally going to give him and took a lesser amount. Finally, he said he owns a Dodge Dart!!
