It took me a while to decide to write this review because it will be so bad...but I have to. This hands down was the most horrible dental visit. The wait was long and I overheard confusion with a temp and someone that is filling in for an open position. Just chaos before I met the Dr. The x-ray was a cluster...the temp didn't know where anything was. The receptionist had to step in and pretty much act as office manager for the fill-in staff. One lady just hung around and watched. With strange comments. Grand finale was Dr. Parra. Just arrogant and rude for no apparent reason. The office was not full and not very welcoming. As I explained why I was there her demeanor was just pitiful and she couldn't stop bragging about what she does. Which was essentially nothing because I would not let that woman touch me with someone else's drill. There are way too many options than to deal with this walking nightmare. read more

Highest quality dental care. Office is immaculate and extremely comfortable. Dr. Parra and Dr. Craighead are both the best. Extremely knowledgeable and caring, as are the techs. I'm personally having dental implants and the required surgeries were long but Dr. Craighead explained everything to me as he was working. I did have problems with prolonged pain after the lower jaw surgery and Dr. Parra made sure I had medications to help. Coming from a dental office that was subpar for many years, it's a blessing to now be a patient at Premier. I am very disappointed with the work Dr Parra has done for me. The expense has been very significant and I am still in some serious pain. Unless Dr Parra can guarantee her work and return to me the $ 2963 I have incurred recently I see no point in having an appointment . In total I have already spent $9943 with her (3/26/2024) to no avail. I have lost my trust in her work and unless she acknowledges her failure in my treatment and reimburse me properly I am going elsewhere for my treatment. read more

BUYER BEWARE...Dealing with the Premier Dental Team in Gainesville, Fl. has been the worst experience of my life; and that's saying a lot coming from someone whose home and all their possessions burned to the ground in a house fire! I have worn a partial upper denture since I was injured in an accident as a teen-ager, sixty years ago. So, I have seen multiple dentist and specialists. My experience with Premier started with a tooth cleaning by an incompetent assistant that left me in tears with my mouth and gums bleeding for an hour. That has never happened before in my life. Then we were give the famous dental Treatment Plan to the tune of $12,000 to pull six teeth and make a full upper denture. I was told that it would take several months (up to six) for my mouth to heal, the bone grafts heal and the gums to reshape. I was then told that I would get a temporary partial denture to use during the healing process. This denture never fit so that I could eat with it. The assistant that took the mold for this denture hod to do it it SIX times before she ever got it right, It fell out of my mouth getting in our car the first time I wore it and partially chipped. It had to be repaired. I returned several times to have it adjusted but it never fit. On each occasion I was told it was only a temporary fix until my gums re-shaped and to just be patient. There was never any mention of our having to pay for another final denture or that the bill was going to increase. At my last visit they did the mold for the final denture, and we were presented with a bill for $2400. This was the first mention of having to pay twice to get a denture which may or may not have fit. My husband called early the next morning and cancelled the denture and told the woman our understanding that the "temporary denture" was never intended to ne a final denture, like we were then being told it was. She was going to talk to Dr. Para and get back to us, which she never did. I should mention that I had a raging infection in my mouth from the time of the traumatic cleaning until I quit seeing Premier. After paying some $12,000 I am left with a useless temporary denture that doesn't stay in my mouth and I can't eat with. So, now after 8 months, I will have to go somewhere else and pay for a decent denture that is actually worth the money; a difficult task for a 79 year old couple on a fixed income! So far I have checked with three other clinics and none of them charge $2400 to fit me with an upper denture. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Parra and Dr. Craighead at this office. It's all been said in the other five starts reviews. I came from Coral Springs, Broward County to see Dr. Parra and Dr. Craighead to Premier Dental Team because they have been extremely helpful to me with a variety of my issues. Despite having a busy practice I am almost always able to schedule an appt. within a few days of my calling and receive my response on my email or phone questions often the same day!! I've consulted many Dentists in my life and it is rare I've found one as knowledgeable, accommodating, and concerned as both Dr. Parra and Dr. Craighead. No. Just No. I feel bad leaving a one star review, because the dentist was friendly and the hygienist was nice--but the cleaning was torture. I was routinely sprayed with water down the back of my throat (drown much?) and left with more than 20 cuts/sores from accidentally using the tartar drill thingy on my gums and cheeks. Then came the X-rays--old school where you have to bite down on these huge folded plastic pieces like 20 times instead of the newer one bite and X-ray around the head (panorex?) that is soooo much more comfortable. Never, ever, EVER going back here. If you prefer a cheap, rushed, really rough dentist and hygienist then this is your place. Personally, I'd rather not endure drowning, a really painful cleaning, and tons of mouth sores for days afterwards.... read more

I enjoyed my visit at Premier Dental. It is easy to drive by the office and not even realize that it is a dental office, but you can't judge a book by it's cover. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the dentist was super knowledgeable. She provided me with options that other dentist did not. The office is clean and the chair you lay on is super comfortable which is a great plus! I will definitely be coming back. read more

I am leaving feedback to save you from making the same mistake I did by going to this dentist. I paid for a temporary and permanent crown as well as build up for a crown at the time of my visit. The doctor was so rough with my mouth I developed 2 cold sores that night. The office staff even apologized to me because the dentist was so rough and in a hurry. They said they were sorry that the dentist was from Columbia and they are rougher than we are use to. I refused to go back to finish the work and now they will not refund any of my money for the permanent crown that I canceled before they had time to make it. Do not go to this office. I totally enjoyed my experience with The Premier Dental Team. I had a full mouth rehab by Dr. Parra and Dr. Craighead. My only regret is that I waited until I was 60 years old instead of doing it in my mid forties. Everyone says I look 10 years younger. The doctors are fantastic and have unparalleled level of training. Their equipment is the latest and greatest which made my procedures very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and has fantastic customer service. I whole hardily recommend these Doctors for any of your dental needs. I used to have large spaces between my teeth. They were very yellow and discolored with many old fillings and crowns. My new smile looks amazing. It has improved my self confidence and has really changed my life. I got all 4 wisdom teeth taken out the same day. I've had my ups and downs at other dental offices, so I was pretty hesitant and nervous for this procedure. I got so worked up in the beginning I started to cry but Dr.Craighead was very patient with me and soon calmed me down. His assistant was very thorough with all of the instructions for home-care. I just read the reviews on the website. I find them somewhat baffling. These reviews are outdated if you notice the dates. I have been going to Premier for over 2 years & have NEVER had a bad experience. I'm not suggesting by any means that these (on this website) reviews are 'not the truth' but b/c they're outdated they don't represent the current staff there now.
