Everything I showed them that needed to be corrected from the prior people that had started the job that wasn't done correctly there was a problem after they got started. Samuel would get so very upset when I spoke to him about things that I wanted done or corrected. I was having to communicate with his son through text on things that needed to be viewed because certain construction terms they didn't understand, but was trying to make a decision based on assumptions. They didn't prep the house properly to even start painting and its peeling off already so I will get someone else to scrape and paint that area because they want to charge me extra to prep the house to paint. It was a difficult situation because I am familiar with remodeling so I didn't understand how they did business. They had an employee that just half did things and tried to hide it and when I asked them to correct it was a problem. I got tired of them being here I wanted them to finish and go because they were disrupting my peace. They don't know how to include a contingency amount but nothing I asked them to do expect adding moulding around the post and painting the doors would may have been extra.
