Never thought I'd be driven to leaving a 1 star review on Yelp, but I had a perplexing and negative experience as a first, and one-and-only, time customer. Dropped off an item and was told would be ready 9/2 at 5pm. I arrive at 5:30 on 9/2 and the item not only isn't ready but it's at their Wethersfield location. (No call/text/email to alert of this delay ahead of time, and no apology for it, which was the first perplexing moment) I'm told I can come back tomorrow morning or drive to Wethersfield. I tell them neither are an option as I am mid packing and literally moving across the country at 8AM the following morning. I had to ask (rather than being offered, considering the inconvenience) if they could just deliver it since they do provide delivery services. The staff person reluctantly called her father back and then it was decided they would drop it off at my home that night and I provided my address. The night came and went, no call and no show. On 9/3, I call first thing in the morning and no answer. I then call the Wethersfield location and the person on the phone told me they did get the notice to do this yesterday, but that "it was getting too dark outside by the time it got to 7-7:30pm" and that was why they didn't come. No call to let me know either. He tells me it's going to be delivered this morning and they were leaving in about 20 minutes and I would get it in about 40 minutes. I remind him that my movers are literally arriving in 45 minutes and it's cutting it close as I still need to pack the item- as you might have guessed, this info had no effect on the person and he said the arrival time remained the same. The bottom line worst part about this was at ZERO point in time did I receive any kind of apology or meaningful attempt to make things right. I arrived at the exact date and time you provided on my receipt slip, if you don't have it ready, have the decency to call ahead, and at the VERY least when this is happening, you should acknowledge your screw up and do what you can to make things right. The girl working at the store literally said to me "I'm just a girl who works here who goes to school" and pointed at her college sweatshirt. Pretty sure being the owners daughter and a college student shouldn't exempt you from doing your JOB properly. The abhorrent lack of customer service and the "no call no show" when it was promised to come that night, and THEN offering zero apology and acting like they were doing me a favor with the morning delivery was beyond the most bizarre and ridiculously poor behavior I've ever seen from a small or large business. They then dropped it off without even ringing the doorbell. To add insult to injury the comforter came with a large rip in it. I will obviously never return, but maybe they don't need the business if they don't feel the need to apologize or own their mistakes, and are fine with not following through with promises - don't come here if you need something done in the time they say it takes to be done! read more

The old guy I'm guessing the owner of the store always parks his car in the handicap parking space even though he works there all day which is ridiculous because people who actually need that parking space like myself can then not use it because he is there all day. Then he gets mad at people when they park in the parking spaces that are for his store but that is the only place that disabled people can park because again he takes a handicap parking space. Stop getting mad at people for taking your parking spots when you take up two spaces when in reality you only need one and then you park your car in the handicap parking space. I also should add he only does it to women when it is a man he does not care at all. All the times that I have been there when a man who is parked there he does not care but when it is a woman like myself he gets mad. Maybe if you did not only park in the handicap parking place all day and take away the ability for people to park in that space we wouldn't be so rude to you. Also on top of that if you weren't so rude to people in the first place maybe we would not be rude back. Maybe if you respected people we would respect you, I know if you respected me I would've respected you but you were very rude and very confrontational. I think what pisses me off is the handicap parking space because that has made my life so difficult and again you do not need two spaces specifically for your cleaner if anything you can park in one of them ! read more

My first and only experience here was not the best. Although, the girl working behind the counter was very nice and attentive the cleaning services were subpar. I had a few different items cleaned and my suit I had cleaned was still wrinkled. I brought it back once to the store to only find out when I got home that it was still wrinkled, they offered to come pick it up from my home and clean it again for free. I also had a small hole in a nice dress shirt sewn and cleaned but the next time I wore it the hole opened up again. read more

I bought a Ted Baker gown online which I had altered at the Glastonbury location. The alterations were fine. However, Premier pressed it afterward because there were a couple of fold lines from being shipped in a box. The problem is that the gown had an insert with tiny accordion pleats in a contrasting color in the skirt, and Premier pressed out the pleats! This ruined the look of the gown. The sad part is that the pleated section didn't even need to be touched. I wish I had just had alterations done only, and ironed the part that needed pressing myself. A reputable cleaner should know how to press something with pleats. read more

I did not get a chance to try their services. An elderly man who was a customer walking into the cleaners. I was parked. I exited my car and the store door shot open as I was just pst the door. A very kind voice asked me to not park here in his 3 spots, he only has 3. All had signs I was aware of this. He was unaware I was a potential customer of his. Also it's 830 am I need some coffee. I explained to him, stunned. How do you know I am not a customer? The elderly man tapped on the sign I know this is your parking spot. I was going to Starbucks and then to his shop for a price list. Which I also explained. He told me to move my car. I have lost a significant amount of weight. I wanted to find a A list tailor to bring all of my 12 pairs of black pants 4 pair of gray pants and a couple favorite dresses take them all in, needed more information. Also my husband who has 2 tears on a white pleated shirts. However because I was driving a Honda or was young, or didn't go there first? I don't know why. I was told to move my car even after explaining I was a potential customer. I lost the need for the coffee and left. I will not recommended his shop regardless of how kindly he asked me to move my car. His prices are probably luxury level, and I guess he doesn't need any new business.
