It's definitely been a long road to this point. I had my hopes set high, but they've hit rock bottom with this company. I hired them to install 2 egress windows. The initial install started Dec 11th and to be completed Dec 12th. Day 1, they hit the gas line. There was a dispute about whose fault it was but they figured it out with the gas company, which I was thankful for. After the job was completed Dec 12th, I came home from work to notice that our fence was bent and would not close. They also left tarps and debri in our basement from after the install. They also did not seal around the windows after install so there was a wicked draft coming from both windows which made the house freezing (It's December after all). I could actually see through the cracks/cuts to the outside. One of the windows would also not close all the way nor would it lock. I messaged the project manager that night (Dec 12th) and he said he'd have some of his guys come out to take a look. They left us like this for the whole weekend. In fact, I had to get ahold of the project manager again (On Tuesday Dec 15th) to find out when they would be out since I hadn't heard anything about it. They ended up stopping by that night and were a bit late, but I was notified they would be. They sealed around the windows, took the tarps left by the concrete cutting company they hired, and attempted to bang out/fix our gate. They also tried fixing the faulty window saying it was just dirt caught in the track, but it still wouldn't close so they said the project manager would be by tomorrow (Wednesday December 16th). I hadn't heard from the project manager so I contacted him again and he forgot. He offered to be by Friday(Dec 18th) instead. Sure, we can do that. He came by Friday and said it was a faulty window and it would have to be replaced. He would try to find one close to pick up, but they might have to order one if he can't find one that will fit. Awesome! Sounds great. I didn't hear anything after that. I contacted him 10 days later (Monday Dec 28th) for an update. He still hadn't found one but if they ordered, it would take 8 weeks to get it. He said he would keep me posted....but I still didn't hear anything. I contacted him again on January 6th for another update (9 days later). They found one yesterday, Jan 5th. He planned to go get it that day and then he'd contact me about when they could install it. He called Jan 8th to get us on the schedule. Install of the new window was set for January 15th. I got a call that the window didn't need to be replaced, it was just installed incorrectly so it wasn't set evenly on the track, which is why it would not lock. He reinstalled it, and it locked just fine. Perfect!! I called to get the final invoice and they emailed it to me. The contract I signed said I'd pay $3000 up front before project start (which I did). And then I'd pay $3534 when the project was done. Awesome, I was prepared. The invoice I was sent was a $228.69 difference in their favor. I asked why (could it be for the extra window we didn't need??) at which point I was informed the tech that drew up the contract (that we both signed) didn't do his math right and forgot to include $210 of project cost PLUS didn't do taxes correctly, so instead of the $3534, I'd have to pay $3762.69 For a company that calls themselves Premier Basement Systems, they aren't very Premier and make a lot of mistakes they expect their customers to correct and pay for. What was supposed to be a 2 day project has turned into a month+ long endeavor. I did email them back and we came to an agreement to split the difference of the math mistake (so still paying a little more than the original contract, but it is what it is). I don't mind paying for work done, just frustrated paying for mistakes I didn't make. Next time I'll remember to buy a house that already has egress windows. read more

I rate this company as just "ok". I noticed water dripping down the basement wall in one of the corners one day , just a slow drip no real water accumulation, and here's the saga of what happened next. I couldn't find any other company in or around Spokane that does basements, which explains a few things. Anyway, I called this place, because they did my crawl space vapor barrier previously. Monty came out and spoke with us and said the basement needed to have a lot of work done, it wasn't upkept as it should have been. I got the contract in an email a few days later with the very basic quote and almost died on the spot. Over 12K, apparently the work included adding cactus boards and structural foam. Out all the home repairs I've done , which is a lot cause my house is 100yrs old, this was by far the most expensive, by a long shot. And they said that it might be more depending on any other issues they encounter. Anyway, I'm not made of that kind of money, so they said they are affiliated with Enerbank and I could apply through a loan with them, which I did, and will be paying until long after I'm dead. They gave me the wrong "loan code" I needed in order for the bank to pay them the 40% deposit, but since that was their own fault, they didn't fuss with me about it. Once I confirmed with them I got approved and wished to move forward with the repair, they put me on the schedule over 2 months in the future. I guess they are very busy, being the only game in town. They said the repair would take 3 days (2 for concrete and 1 for foam)....so I got those days off of work, because I work at home and knew it would be noisy. First day on the job, 4 young men came, very nice and professional, and their job was to jackhammer some of the floor and put in the cactus board, re-cover the floor where they dug it up and then chip away "bad" spots of the basement walls. They were slated to be there two days, and only needed one. Which was nice...they told me they'd call the company to let them know they were done early. The foam guy couldn't come on day 2, he was already booked, but I understood that, and was told to expect him the next day at 0900. So already one day off wasted. The next day came, and 15 minutes before the foam guy was supposed to be there, I get a call saying he wouldn't be able to come that day, because another job went long, and I was re-scheduled for about 8 days later. Second day off wasted. Nothing was available earlier than that and I guess the holes all in my walls were not important to fix in a timely manner. Anyway, a week later, the foam guy shows up, takes about 4 hours. The foam is a sickening shade of green and when I asked the guy what I can use paint-wise over it, he didn't know, and I had to call the company to find out. Needless to say when the job was over, I must say for about 12 hours total of work, I paid ALOT of money. I didn't call them to request a more finely detailed invoice, but at this point it doesn't matter and I just want to not have to deal with them anymore if I don't have to. I really wish there was another basement company here because I am not impressed. read more

The crew wasted no time and got right to work and finished everything faster than I had expected. After about a year now of having you work on our basement that previously was flooding about every time we had a good rain, I have to tell you that everything is dry in our basement now. We just had that torrential downpour on Thursday and more on Friday and everything is great. The system works and now we have peace of mind when it is raining in the middle of the night that we do not have to worry about going down stairs and start to mop up water. Also, the additional insulation of walls you installed has made our basement much more comfortable and warmer during the past winter. I had Premier Basement come out to encapsulate my crawlspace. I have seen their work before since my parents used their services for the exact same reason. I wanted a warmer floor which required something to be done with the crawlspace under my house. Scheduling was easy, Steve came out and inspected the space and we walked through what would need to be done. I filled out the required paperwork and away we went. We had to reschedule a few times but communication was always open. The gals in the office are on the ball. Art and his coworker (forgot his name) came out and got the job done in a day. They did have to come back another day because one of the vent covers broke and they had no spares in the truck. Not a big deal, we scheduled it and got it on in about a 2 week time frame. I am very happy with the work. I guess they actually do egress windows, which I will be calling them to do as soon as we move forward with finishing our basement. read more

We had a less than ONE star experience with this company. They flouted a lifetime guarantee of no more water in the basement after installing their perimeter drain system. Well, it was installed ...to the tune of well over $10k...and water continued to flow! Turns out the "guarantee" was just as slippery as the water through the cracks. We heard excuse after excuse and zero accountability. Weeks later hired a different company to fix their mess and it was done with professionalism and integrity. As was the case with another reviewer, they told us we didn't need them and that the problem was likely something in the plumbing. I've called Premier Basement Services twice in the last couple of months and in both cases they came out, showed me what was going on, and showed I did not need their services. Wow - a company that actually wants to protect the customer. 1st Case - I had used a mail in test for Radon gas that indicated I needed to mitigate a problem. Steve Cole from Premier came out, looked at the results I had from the mail-in test, looked at what mitigation would involve (2500-3000) and agreed we should retest with their equipment to check. Result - their test showed I did not need mitigation. 2nd Case - we had water collecting in the middle of a closet in our basement. I was concerned we had a foundation leak. Steve again came out and suggested we get out in the snow and look at the side of the house nearest the leak. Under an overhang where the living room jutted out and next to the foundation were several large icicles Steve pointed out. What's above the overhang he asked - it was an icemaker turned off for the winter but on examination Steve found a small leak at the water pipe that would feed the icemaker. We turned off the feed and the leak stopped. Again no business for Steve but I can say for sure if there is ever an issue, Premier is the first call I will make. read more
