Awful bed (for me, I like them softer), but loads of room and very very clean.
This place is genuinely an apartment and not an efficiency. There is a separate kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom and hallway closet. The kitchen hosts a full ability to cook with microwave, cooker, oven, refrigerator and freezer. A small washer dryer combo is in the kitchen as well. Dishes, cups, utensils for 4 folks are provided.
I stayed here so I could shop at the open market and visit tourist spots during the day and easily visit family in the evening in Solihull. The central bus station is down the street, so it's convenient to grab the coach at Heathrow to here and if booked well enough ahead, it only costs about $10 for a 2 hour bus ride.
Two train lines are within walking distance, easily within 3 minutes. Major shopping stores are Selfridges (visible from your room), Marks and Spencers, and Debenhams. If you do a lot of sewing, a visit to the Silk City store is a must.
A lot of the street noise is dampened when you close your windows and doors in the evening. The rest can be eliminated with decent ear plugs.
There are warehouses nearby where work begins at 5 am.
Wi-fi was included but it wasn't always working. read more
