This is going to be my first review, and I truly feel that Golden Heart deserves to be recognized…read more I found Golden Heart when I was under an incredible amount of stress. My mom needed to go to the ER. I had called the paramedics, but they explained that although her situation wasn't considered an "emergency," she still needed to see a doctor. My mom is non-mobile, nonverbal, and has dementia, so finding transportation was extremely difficult. I contacted her insurance, but unfortunately, they did not cover non-emergency transportation. Kaiser provided me with a few nonprofit organizations that assist seniors, but unfortunately, none of them were able to help. I started calling private transportation companies, but because it was a Sunday, no one was available. I was desperately searching for someone who could help us. I was completely overwhelmed, stressed, and honestly, I was about to cry from frustration. Then, thankfully, I found Rami Cohen through a private transportation company. Rami listened to my situation and referred me to Delia at Golden Heart. I called Delia and explained what I needed. Without hesitation, she was already on her way to meet me and my mom. She was truly a Godsend. Delia picked us up, took my mom to the ER, and then came back about 4 hours later to pick us up and take us safely home. My family and I are truly grateful to both Rami and Delia for helping us when we needed it most. Delia was kind, professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring about our situation. She made an extremely stressful day so much easier for me. Golden Heart will forever be my first call when my mom needs transportation. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable, and professional care. Thank you, Rami and Delia, for being there when we needed you.

I would definitely use his service again if I got into another situation as I did today. Sometimes paying alittle extra has its advantages. Are you young…read moreadults but have no friends or family members who can pick you up during busy weekday work hours after a procedure using anesthetic & the medical facility won't let you take ridesharing or tax services? Do you live in the South Bay, West LA and South East Los Angeles County area? Well Sunshine Medical Transport is the solution! Sunshine Medical Transport offers non-emergency medical transport and they have vehicles that meet ADA mobility transportation regulations. [Process]: I first attempted to call the number listed on the website (844-747-8669), but no one answered so I ended up sending a text message. I eventually received a call back from a gentleman named Brian and was able to set up a one-way transportation arrangement from the medical facility to a location in the South Bay for a reasonable price (in my case between $75-$100+). [Ride]: The medical facility accepted Sunshine Medical Transport's contact information as a form of transportation home. Driver was ready and on standby at the time of discharge. Our driver provided an excellent service and will make sure you or your elders don't fall on stairs and arrive at your doorstep safely.
