With a honest and inspiring knowledge to guide us students individually and all as one:) Through laughter, amazing breathing techniques, all over stretching and strengthing, mindfulness, teaching us all aspects of yogas history, and a playful and grateful self love to each one of our individual yoga levels. I can truly say that every Friday morning right as I drove away I felt calm in my mind and excited in my bones. At this stage of my life, mid-60s, I can say that I receive much more relief from stretch therapy than I ever did from a massage. Nicole takes the time before each session and asks how my body is and which areas she should spend time on. She cares deeply for her clients' needs and does whatever it takes to help. Do yourself a huge favor and book a stretch session. You won't regret it and believe me you will want to book more sessions thereafter.

Went back twice, first just to see what goodies they had and the following day before we left, to get produce and gifts. Loved their gifts, local pottery and candles. We also tried their canned Alaskan salmon the day before (had it as a snack) and ended up getting an entire case! Their fresh produce is all grown locally in SLO and we just about finished everything but the green onions. If you are looking for some fresh produce in downtown, this is the place to support. Also loved the shop ladies who were so nice and wrapped up the gift I bought. Thank you!

Beautiful yoga studio! Great yoga instructors! Overall fantastic vibe!…read more It was only my second time doing yoga ever. The very first time was yearssss ago during one of the complimentary session with YEE. The hubby was actually the one pushing for us to do yoga together and especially to come here. He has heard great things from several of his coworkers and been on the hunt for a good yoga studio for a couple years now. Not exactly sure what to expect, I decided to try the Gentle Flow class first. It was a great re-introduction to yoga for me. The second time, we went with a more challenging class and did Vinyasa Flow. I did not expect to break a sweat, but it did kick my butt a little bit. Both instructors were knowledgeable and skilled. Their voices and tones were also perfect to create a calm/zen atmosphere. The yoga studio itself is super spacious and pretty open with all glass doors/windows on one side, and high/wooden ceiling. The classes do get full, but there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. A huge bonus is the home grown vegetables and fruits that the owners would bring in from their own farm. They're organic and at a very reasonable price too. They do have a pretty great schedule that offers multiple different classes each day for different levels. They also have excellent offer for new student, which I highly recommend signing up.

The only regret you will have is that you didn't sign up for Emily's classes sooner!!

During my work day, class at the lab is something I'm always finding myself looking forward to. What I love most is the variety of classes available. On days when I need to decompress and relax, I can take a Restore or Stretch and Release class. Sara has such a calming presence and leads such a mindful, restorative practice; it's exactly what I need after a stressful day. On days when I'm craving more of a challenge and want to keep building strength, there's plenty of options. I always enjoy their hot yoga classes, and I've really come to love the newer Strength and Bar classes too. Beyond the classes themselves, the studio just has a wonderful environment. I always feel welcome the moment I walk in. I can't recommend The Yoga Lab enough!

The Yoga Lab is just one of those places that feels so, so, SO good to walk into. From the instructors to the people taking classes alongside you, there's such a welcoming, supportive community. You never feel like you have to be at a certain level or know what you're doing to belong there. You can just show up as you are, and that's something I really love about it. The classes are welcoming and still challenging, and there is such a great variety. With both heated and non-heated rooms, there really are options for everyone. I especially love the strength classes, and I'm excited for more Pilates and Barre! And now with the addition of the sauna and red light therapy, there are even more ways to enjoy the space. I highly recommend taking advantage of the two-week trial. Try a little bit of everything! It gives you a chance to experience different instructors and styles and figure out what classes feel best for you. I never expected yoga to become such a regular part of my life, but 15 months later, here we are! The Yoga Lab has created a really special space and community, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. ‍

The studio was clean, the equipment is new and Ardy personally came over and introduced herself to me. I have been doing Pilates for 3 times a week for the last 6 months at a very large and busy studio in San Diego. Kristina took the extra time to help me improve my form and to better understand how to use the exercises to more effectively engage my core muscle groups. She went the extra mile and helped me with some additional therapy exercises I can do at home for my plantar fasciitis. This studio has a great vibe and Kristina is awesome! I would definitely recommend this studio.
