Went here for my son's birthday (not a party, but something to do on his celebratory day). It wasn't that busy but the experience is pretty similar to other putting places ... kids taking forever just swinging and kicking the balls while you wait for them to finish the hole in front of you. Nothing spectalar there but the scenary was pretty cool and they had spinners so you could change up the game a bit. They also have an expensive/normal-priced arcade. Overall, kids had a fairly good time but I don't think I'll be coming back here.

To start off, this place is very reasonably priced. I was very surprised and impressed, it was only $25 for two adults to do 18 holes. It took about 45 minutes to complete without anyone infront of us! They have several different courses, some are more kid friendly and there is one that is geared more towards adults. They have a bar and a kitchen, along with a coffee area! We did not purchase anything to eat or drink but the food smelled amazing. They also have a VR laser tag area and an arcade!

They put the Dino in a dynamic experience! I visited with a group of friends for a holiday Valentine's Day actually and despite how busy it was, the service was very well & very speedy. The put-put courses were very creative and exciting as well ,I highly recommend this place for families or anybody just trying to have a good time!

What an amazing improvement! I can't lie, it was definitely time for an upgrade and they did it right! With four courses to play this is an oasis for children and adults. I was certainly nostalgic seeing all the quarter machines upon entering. The kids had a blast. Their favorite part was definitely the hole with the slide. The only thing I wish they invested more in would have been the dining. It's very nice they have food and alcohol available but they lost the opportunity to partner with a local restaurant, pop ups or open something new. Food did not look or sound appealing so I'd likely only eat here if I had to.

This place in a new location is pretty expansive. It is multiple levels, party rooms, and a separate bar area. There is an adult only (after a certain time) area to golf in. The adult area each hole is its own enclosed maybe 10x10 design. So nothing too t crazy to goof off on but also not as painful as the entire floor is the playfield. I was onsite for a birthday and we stayed well past that time while the kids played and the adults drank. It is expansive and not clostrophibic-ish if that is a word. The HUGE dinos are pretty cool even for an adult because they feel life size not miniaturized. I will be back for sure!. Also the place is in an old shared mall but had TONS of parking but look at the map/directions first to judge your approach first. 120th and West Center sounds great but that intersection is a bit weird. I think it was an old Nobbies possibly. or basically look for Report Inn Pub and its essentially same lot-ish area to get you in the right direction. ( oof, had to edit to change expensive to expansive, dang auto correct. )

The new prehistoric putt is pretty rad! We played the upstairs coarse but next time we will play 2 of the downstairs. Cool small arcade and laser tag. Lot bigger than the old spot on Q. I'm sure my boys and i will have many more fun days here.

I love that the new location has so many different courses! It seems to swallow up the amount of people there a bit better than the original. They have a fun assortment of challenging, fun and creative holes on each course. I enjoyed the adults only course. This was a nice touch because I have felt a little strange as a group of adults waiting for smaller children. We understand that Prehistoric Putt is for all ages but, this was a great to have the option of! Their decor is so fun and every corner you turn, there is something new to look at. I will most certainly be back!

Having been to and enjoyed the Fat Putter, my husband and I did a date night at Prehistoric Putt's new location recently after they moved. It's set up similar to Fat Putter where you can choose from four different courses - they all have a rating for "difficulty" and "fun", with one course being 21+ only. They also have a bar area where you can get some food and drinks. They had menus advertising some special cocktails, but when we went to order them at the bar, we were told that they didn't have all the necessary ingredients to make the cocktails, so our options were limited to cans, well drinks, and what was on tap. I ended up getting a gin and tonic and my husband got a beer. We decided to do two courses this night, which I think was a mistake because after starting the second course, we were both starting to feel a little tired and bored - I think we'll choose to do only one course at a time in the future. We did the red course first, which was a lot of fun and ends with a slide down to the first floor! We ended with the 21+ only course, which we didn't enjoy as much. There also weren't as many games within the courses as there are at the Fat Putter. Overall this was fun, but I think I'll give the edge to Fat Putter.

This place is the best! Personally, I love the dinosaur theme but I like that they've expanded the theme a bit to reach a bigger audience. The holes are really fun, with a good mix of challenging and easy. I like that they've expanded have a few different courses so coming back again feels new and different!

A great place to bring the family for a fun time at an affordable price. We went on a one a Friday early evening and there less people than I expected, so we didn't feel rushed through the course with our six-year-old. The theme is quite extensive with many dinos and variations on the game to try. Seems the course has been pretty well-maintained, and there were a lot of unique challenges and sets within the 18 holes that we played. The were more twists than I expected. Will definitely be back!

Pizza from the bar. So good!!

The new location is great! We spent several hours here as we did one round on the easy red course, played in the kids free area, had a pizza and fries for lunch then hit up the games. Staff and service was great. Everything was clean. Fairly priced.

Prehistoric Putt is a great way to beat the heat in Omaha, and is a family-friendly activity with lots of fun dinosaur decorations scattered around the two 18-hole mini golf courses. In my quest to find the best mini golf course in America (Prehistoric Putt in NE marks my 27th state I've mini-golfed in), I would give this place a B+. I love the theming, some of the holes are unique--like the baseball bat off the tee--and the courses are in pretty good shape. But there's little to no room to stand between holes (so when it's crowded, you can't get out of the way), some of the holes don't give you a chance to get a hole in one (which is admittedly personal preference, but adds to the fun of mini-golf in my opinion), and some of the holes seem to be exact replicas of holes at Pirate Putt across the river in Council Bluffs, which seems a bit lazy from a design standpoint (it seems to be the same company running both venues).

Do you love Putt putt? Dinosaurs? If so, this is the place for you! Their new location is absolutely massive, and has 4 different courses that you can choose from. Difficulty ranges from easy to challenging, but each course is a blast to play. It's a great place for people of all ages, and the dinosaur decor is amazing! The sculpture dinosaurs are really cool, and the murals painted on the wall are really neat too. They've even go an arcade and play area for people that don't want to mini golf. Give this local business a try!

The courses are terrible for those who are left handed. An A for effort in design but and F in execution in building the courses.

This is a super cute putt putt place. The slide up stairs blew my kids away! Spaced out nicely being two story.

It was a frequent place my boyfriend and his family visited when we was smaller and he had always remembered it fondly. This place is full of different activities to do at very reasonable price points considering how almost anything you can think of has gone up in price! I mean UNLIMITED mini golf!? I'm thinking of spending a morning I have off just to play for fun. The two different courses are super fun with a variety of obstacles to make it exciting. I even consider the fallen leaves and acorns on the course as little extra obstacles to get the ball in the hole! Why not make your visit fun and positive than negative. To me, that's the best way to have a great time. We actually started off our visit heading to the batting cages. It was a first for me and they actually have different speed cages depending on the level you feel you're at. We started at the slower speed softball pitch, it was such a fun time! I hit a few good ones and figured out the right stance too. My boyfriend moved over to the fast pitch for his second round and boy you gotta stay alert at this one! He hit a couple of good ones before we were ready for some mini golf. Though some reviewers have stated it's a bit run down, it still has everything they can offer to ensure a good time. On that same vein, the more people come, the more profit they'll make which leads to more improvements they can make and more activities they can offer. To me, this place is truly a gem especially being open 10am- 10pm everyday from April to the end of October, weather permitting. The owner, Dale, was super friendly, helpful, and had a warm welcoming personality that already has me eager to come back. I'd love to bring my family and friends too! The food menu looked great and they even have corn hole and a cute dining area!! I'm also wondering if they have an option to rent out the place for a birthday party! If you're looking for something to do that is outside, interactive, different, and inexpensive I highly recommend heading out to Millard to take a swing here at Boulder Creek Amusement park! Our whole evening, two adult mini golf plays, two plays each of the batting cages and two drinks were around $40!! A perfect evening out at gem of a place!
