I had never been to an eye doctor before that actually takes their time with me. She explained what she was doing, explained how my contacts and astigmatism works, and even explained the Lasik process to me. The office is nice, clean, and staff is friendly. Located within the small Manhattan Village mall and easy to find with plenty of free parking. I highly recommend Dr. Kuriki and I have found my new eye doctor!

I got to see a doctor finally after I called them with my insurance company (it took me 1.5 hour over the phone) but when I went back there as a follow up, there were FLEAS so I was told to come back next month. Then again, they cancelled my appointment the day before saying there was problem with the insurance company. I even asked if I can pay cash, they said no. I also asked if the doctor could give me any advice over the phone/e-mail since I already started my treatment 2 months ago, they said no. I've been on the meds the doctor prescribed and what am I supposed to do? Should I stop or continue? They said they can do nothing about it. Very professional. So I had no choice. I made an appointment with different optometrist but the appointment is now 2 months away. My husband always says.. "Welcome to America!" This really hurts especially because I just got back from Japan where all the medical services are truly accesible and super affordable. I gave 2 stars since Doctor Alison Sholly (I may have misspelled) was actually nice. I wish I could see her again but it's impossible to see any doctor at Acuity unless you're super lucky or every star lines up perfectly somehow in the big galaxy. Poor her if she was bit by all the fleas at the office.
