So frustrated with this office...Doc is great, but the front desk staff, well...Every year it's the same thing...they tell me they don't take my insurance (they do)...I always ended-up calling Mindy (the Area Manager out of Noblesville who was over 5-6 locations) and, knowing they DO take my insurance, she would take care of things. So I called about 3 PM last Friday to schedule my annual...closed (their "bankers hours" have them closing at 1 PM Fridays)...I left a message...by Wednesday, NO return call, so I called again at 4:15...again closed (found out they close at 4 on Wednesdays)...At any rate, left another message and they DID return this call this morning...the first words out of her mouth were "Who is your insurance?" I replied "same as it has been." But the thing is, in my opinion, all they (the front desk staff, not the doc), all they are concerned about is insurance, not patient care! Yes, the doc is good and cares, but it's the crap you have to go thru first. So, I hung-up and was attempted to make my annual call to Mindy...well, they've eliminated that position...each office does it's own management now! So, after 5 years or so, I'm looking for a new eye doc. Do I recommend this place? If you can tolerate the lack of caring on the part of the front desk, yeah doc's are great...it's just tolerating the "know it alls" at the front counter, and I say "know it alls" because, as stated above, every year they try to tell me they don't take my insurance (Anthem HMO) when, in fact, they do and insurance has paid them every year, and paid them for my glasses! read more
