David and all the wonderful people at the PAD were so knowledgeable and helpful and gave full transparency on what they were doing. This locally owned mom-and-pop shop gives affordable and gets things done right and gets them done fast. They'll run you through your options and they'll keep your budget in mind every step of the way. They helped me out on a major way when my serpentine belt was running down and my radiator hoses needed to be replaced. David was even able to grab me OEM parts in a timely manner and gave me quite the deal. I'm looking forward to using Preferred Auto Design on my next project and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a look at their car. This place, the owner (David), and his team are the best! I trusted them my brand new BMW 8series gran coupe and they handled with care and precision. Took my néw Mercedes Benz 2021 to David from a friend referral. Least to say he sprayed in my engine that I found out after I tried to sell my car to Nissan deal ship. Also used the wrong type of paint so that cost me $5,800. This dude is cheap. Don't go to this man for nothing. He blocked me and now he thinks I'm not gonna see him. David and his crew are a blessing. I wanted to do a tail light swap for my 2012 civic coupe. Called a couple of shops and they rejected the project, since it wasn't a direct fit (understandable). One quoted me $380, charged me an hour of labor and gave up, saying it would cost nearly a grand to get it done (you know, the typical professional mechanic). Annoyed, I scrolled through Yelp and stumbled upon David's shop. Gave him a call, he said to go ahead and send him an email with any pictures/links with what I wanted to do. He gave me a call back and quoted me nearly half the price of the other shop. No bullshit and straight to the point. He told me to drop off my car and said that I would most likely get it back in 2-3 days. 10 seconds talking to this guy and you can tell cars are a passion for him, not a job. I got a call back the NEXT day, honestly expecting something to go wrong. Nope, he said my car was ready for pickup. Perfect job, no fuss, no added fees, no extra charges. Meet the Business Owner: David A.

From a very young age I was introduced to cars. Tearing down engines & putting them back together with a very close family friend. The affliction to cars continued with a natural ability of mechanics and arts I was able to create so much with my two hands. This gave me the drive to learn more and test the limits of vehicles. Growing up and making various connections with people has led me to step out of my comfort zone. I've been servicing the greater Los Angeles area for over three years. I want to make the car game more personal and have every customer leaving not only with a good feeling but with an experience that generates positive conversation with others.

I want to thank Jay who helped people the day I went. The facility was clean and organized, so I felt very comfortable about coming here. They are next to car wash and a gas station. Also, Stonewood Mall is across the way too. The had coffee and snacks, I loved that they had Kirkland coffee pods, oh heck yea. The waiting area is not huge but enough. Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful; I overheard him helping people out. As far as value, I felt I got a good value, as I was shopping around. I was given a time estimate, and a time estimate if I wanted additional service and they were very good about meeting that. I took my car in because I had an oil leak, so I started off by getting the oil pan gasket fixed (I…read moreknew this was the problem from the start ) so they change it and tells me it's still leaking oil, then suggest a valve cover gasket. I do it then the car is still leaking oil. Dennis (the mechanic) recommends a rear main seal replacement but I don't do it and 6 months later I decide to get to the bottom of why my car is leaking oil and I see it's still the oil pan gasket so I decide to switch it out myself and i see how bad of a job these people did and tried to scam me into doing more work than needed. The oil pan gasket was the problem from the beginning I seen the gasket they used and it was a make your own gasket (later if silicone or something) very messy work some of the gasket was inside of the pan and inside the upper oil pan apart from that it was ripped and still leaking oil. Just be careful check your work before leaving the shop. I paid over $500 for the job to be done with very cheap materials.

All without the customer pre-approval. they also charged her for oil change which was done the day before at a different shop. the brake pads and rotors were replaced few months ago still have more than half life to go. On the bill they hand written, she needs spark plugs and parking brake assembly. never mentioned the OBD code nor the original complaint from the customer. She was charged $380 for work never was needed nor asked for and left with a damaged brake release handle. This is a dishonest facility never take your vehicle there.

Not only do people attempt to take advantage of me because I'm a woman but also because I drive a Mercedes. I needed brakes and there was no way I was going to the dealership to have the replaced . So, I searched on Yelp and of course I came across a plethora of businesses but Bolles was the only one that had all five stars, I gave them a call and spoke with the owner's son (sorry i forgot his name) he was very polite, and knowledgeable. The next day o took my car to them to be serviced. I dropped it off and they called me a couple of hours later with an estimate. Yes the estimate was pricey but again he was using Merced's parts and we all know that those aren't cheap. But what I appreciated most was their honesty . He told me that the rotors on the back were shit and definitely had to be replaced but the front were fine and if the price was too much I could actually wait awhile (not forever, but a payday or two) before replacing the brakes . I thought this was the most honest expertise I had ever had with an unknown mechanic. If you want the job done right, with friendly, professional people I would recommend this business to you and anybody who needed a wheel alignment and or brakes . Hopefully I won't have to go back anytime soon but I'll definitely be recommending the to everyone I know .

I honestly wish I found out about Preferred Auto Design a lot sooner! I was struggling to find a decent Acura and met several people through offer up and other apps. Unfortunately the cars were over priced or in a really bad condition. That is , until I ran into PAD where they posted about an Acura , after several questions which were answered in a fast and respectful manner, we created an appointment where they worked around my schedule so that I could see the car. The car was in an amazing and nearly brand new condition! I was completely satisfied, I even took a mechanic to check it out and he was completely satisfied about the condition of the car as well. Once I walked into the shop, I was able to tell how organized and clean and well maintained it was. I am very picky when it comes to cars and who works on my vehicles. Even though I only bought a truck from David, I would totally bring any of my cars to this shop. David gave me a really good deal, and I am already in love with my truck. I took my truck to this place because I had heard really good thing about it from my friend. I asked them to repair some rust around they windshield, and replace my headlights. The quote was more then fair. When I returned to pick my truck up not only did they repair the areas I asked them to but they had my truck detailed inside and out.
