I am so grateful to have found Preet Brows when I moved to Pleasanton a couple of years ago!! Preet is the only person I trust to shape my eyebrows, she is so talented and has a very light and gentle threading style. I am thrilled that she has been able to open again! Preet is following all County required Covid-19 measures and I felt very safe and comfortable during my appointment. Preet has a sign in station at the front door and only one guest is allowed into the building at a time after having their temperature taken. Preet leaves her thread around her neck instead of in her mouth and you can't tell a difference at all while being threaded. I am genuinely so happy to see her business survive the Covid-19 shut down and I hope she stays in business for a very long time to come!! My skin is extremely sensitive, so getting my eyebrows done has always been a difficult task. I had tried waxing and it left the skin surrounding my eyes brows swollen for over a week, so that was a no. I had also tried many different threading places and although there was no swelling it would be extremely painful for me to the point where I would always cry during my sessions. Best place I've ever gone for eyebrows. Every time I've gone Preet has done my brows perfectly. She really listens to what you want and doesn't allow your brows to get too thin (a huge concern of mine as big bushy brows are in). Been going here for almost 5 years and recently moved to San Jose. I still make the trip to see Preet every time because she's truly the best. Her staff is also very kind and friendly. Preet also takes a lot of Covid-19 measures to make sure safety is a priority. I've recommended this location to many friends (who are now regular clients of Preet too) and would recommend to anyone who wants threading or waxing done professionally. I came here once a few months ago. I usually go to Threads in Dublin but wanted to try somewhere closer to home. She did an ok job but it was so rushed. She didn't seem to take the time to check everything over afterwards. Anyways, not the best threading experience. read more

Inexperienced staff. Just had threading done. The girl working there threaded my eyebrows uneven, leaving a very visible dip along upper margin on one of my brows, despite telling her multiple times to not thin the brows. She not only thinned them but made them uneven big time.And continues to insist that she just cleaned up. Avoid going there unless the owner is there. read more

Since the start of COVID, I have been really hesitant to go to salons. However, Preet is super professional, kind and does an amazing job. She makes everything stress free and I feel safe walking in and getting my face threaded. Besides following all the safety protocols, she does an amazing job threading! YAAY I'm a huge fan!! Came in around 4:30 PM on a Monday and was assisted right away. First off, Manpreet is SO sweet. She threads like a dream, and noticed my brows were a little uneven (due to my ability to overpluck...) and worked her magic to make them as even as possible while still giving me the ability to grow them out and come back for her to thread them to the thickness that I eventually want. $8 with cash and $10 minimum for card just for eyebrows, a great deal! Her space is very clean, and I will definitely be a returning customer. read more

If you want to get small cuts while getting threading done then go there. I had upper lip and eyebrows done last week and I came home with 1 cut on the left eye brow and 2 cuts near my lip area. Not a clean place either. I have been to better places. Not worth the pain and money. Not going back. read more

Preet is fast and professional. I have thick brows so I try to go in every 2 weeks, which feels like a lot, so I'm always in a rush to get in and out. I've been going to Priyanka at Preet Brows for a while now. She's always so nice and friendly when I walk in and throughout the entire visit and I always leave with beautiful brows! When I have thinner patches and need to grow them out, she is thorough with explaining why little hairs need to be left behind and what to do in between visits to help with the growth. She's very clear with the process and helps me understand what to expect. She not only makes my brows look great that day, but is constantly helping to improve the overall shape of them and remembers where we left off and what we were trying to achieve in the previous visit. Quite possibly the unfriendliest person I have ever received a service from. I came here to get my eyebrows done & the only employee that was working seemed shocked and annoyed that I interrupted her phone call by walking in. Based solely on the good Yelp reviews, I went ahead to have my eyebrows threaded anyway. Let me mention, I have a major obsession with eyebrows; I have been getting mine threaded for over 15 years so of course I know exactly how I want them done. But still, when I go to a new place, I expect them to ask me what I would like done to them. This girl didn't even bother! She did almost immediately feel the need to tell me tho, that GASP! I have a scar in my eyebrow. Well, thank you captain obvious! The scar(from falling into the corner of a coffee table when I was 7) is very obvious as my eyebrow hair does not grow in in the tiny spot where the scar is. I told her this, to no response. Then she points out to me that one eyebrow is thinner than the other. Yes, it is, I told her, from the last new place I went to. I expected her to say she would do something to try to fix that. Nope. Not a word. She just breezed through the process without so much as a peep aside from pointing out the flaws in my eyebrows, without offering a solution to a fixable problem. When it came time to pay, she didn't even tell me how much I owed. She simply walked over to the register and sat down. I had to look at the price list on a postcard to find out the price. In case you are wondering, she spoke perfect English. I paid, tipped, hardly received a thank you, then noticed they have one of those punch cards for 5 visits get the 6th visit free, which I was never offered. I would have asked for one but at that point I had decided I will never be returning. When I got home, I took a closer look in my magnifying mirror to find tons of stray hairs across both eyebrows. This place may be cheaper than others, but just another case of ya get what ya pay for! read more

I have been getting my eyebrows for many years now and tried at least over 10 eyebrow places in the Bay Area. Unique Eyebrows is by far one of the worst eyebrow place I have ever been to. The lady did such a terrible job on my eyebrows and made a huge mistake- she made one eyebrow WAY shorter than the other. I was so mad so I went back and told me not to blame her. Anyway, she did a terrible job and it's a couple extra bucks compared to other eyebrow places. I do not recommend this place at all. read more
