The food is solid and a typical fusion mix of a miso infused pork belly next to a roast beef sirloin with roast vegies. A laksa next to cold cuts of meat and breadrolls... maybe not so much fusion in hindsight, maybe its a bit of two worlds crossed like star crossed lovers... but with some sushi. So essentially multiple asian countries crossed with the typical aussie fair. So really the world is kissing and youre eating, gross but sweet but gross but kind of nice.. getting off topic here. Lets get this right, the food is nothing really awesome but when combined with queenslands only 360 revolving restaurant a la candlelight 26 stories above a la central gold coast broadbeach... the taste is yelping spectacular $62 later a head plus $4.50 for a glass of coke. So recommended but not really for a regular visit. Perfect for romance and walking a full stomach off by the breathtaking beach.

The main attraction being the view was mostly unseen as the lighting inside was too bright to view the night lights outside. Instead you saw your own reflection when trying to peer out. My recommendation is to go for a day or early evening seating if you want to take in the view. The dessert buffet was the best part of the evening. The worst part, the other patrons. Some patrons had been scooping the oysters from their shells at the buffet station so care had to be taken not to select an empty oyster shell. Searching through the empty oyster shell rubble we managed to find some tasty morsels to return to our table with. The crab was a disaster, stringy dry overcooked crab meat was hardly worthy of the effort involved to get to it. However, the prawns were amazing. The main buffet was a collection of over cooked salmon, tasty veal, chicken, tough chewy steak and tragically over cooked lamb cutlets. The sides were pretty boring - steamed or roasted vegetables. The dessert buffet had a great selection of sugary treats, chilli chocolate pano cotta, pavlova, doughnuts, ice cream, a broad selection of cheeses and fresh fruit to name a few. Ho ho ho hum... Not the highlight of my Christmas vacation. But it wasn't all that bad value for what fare was available.

Absolutely delicious! The staff were lovely and the food was just great. Our only regret was that we were all so full we couldn't fit in any desserts. We'll definitely be back! By the way, My Greek Cuzina is the new name for Little Greek Cuzina.

Very disappointing, to say the least…read more This place was super busy when we arrived for dinner, and I thought that would be a good thing, but I was mistaken. We were seated a small table in a corner and squished in against the table next to us. Barely had room to get to my seat, and it was awkward trying to squeeze past the tables of the diners on either side of us. Our waitress gave us menus after she took us to our table, but took forever to come back and take our order. Yes, the place was busy, but waiting 15 minutes to order was not cool. At one point I was wondering if it was table service or counter service. We ordered a platter to share and some souvlaki skewers, specifically asking the waitress if the food could all come out at the same time, and she assured us that it would, but that it could take up to 40 minutes for the food to arrive and we said that was fine. Needless to say, about 20 minutes later the souvlaki skewers (delivered by a different waitress), and when I told her it was supposed to be served with the platter, she seemed thoroughly confused. She took the skewers back to the kitchen, and seemed to chat with someone in the kitchen. Then 5 minutes later, she came back out with our platter and skewers (the same ones she had taken back earlier), and again seemed very confused about the skewers. She put the plate down and announced they were checken and pork souvlaki skewers. I queried her on this as we had ordered chicken and lamb, and she was adamant they were chicken and pork. Another visit back to the kitchen and she came back and announced they were chicken and lamb souvlaki skewers. Definitely not a good sign when your waitstaff have no idea what they're serving. The food was disappointing. I've been to other Greek restaurants before and in comparison, the quality was lacking. For a platter for 2, the quantities were small. 3 small pieces of potato for 2 people? 1 small bowl of salad to share. The only thing in abundance was the pita bread and the moussaka. We chose to have the eggplant dip with our platter, and the raw garlic in the dip was so so overpowering. The souvlaki skewers were underwhelming - the lamb was dry and overcooked, while the chicken was just ok. All round, it wasn't a great experience. I'd like to say I'd give them another chance, but I won't be. My sister ended up getting sick after our dinner, and that was a deal breaker for us.

My god-mother's friend suggested King Ahiram. The place is just a take-out place with an adjoining room with tables and chairs where you can have a "sit-down" meal. So we ended up ordering a selection of items. I don't know. I am used to going to Little Arabia for my middle eastern food here in southern California and my favorite place in Brisbane is Nono's and omg.... the food here was kinda on the dismal side. I felt really bad that my parents and god-parents had to sit through a different cuisine which I've been touting as so fabulously delicious only to be faced with really sub-par Mediterranean food. We had falafels, hummus, babaghanoush, kebabs, these crescent pastry things which looked like empanadas -- everything was mediocre at best. The meat was dry, the dips needed more olive oil.... falafels were hard as rocks. Tabouleh was flavorless. I never heard the end of it after the meal, even from my son who is an avid fan of this cuisine. We are definitely going back to Nono's next time.

It's only when you really take notice that you see King Ahiram's name on there. So yeah, until I paid closer attention when I decided to review it, this place was always known to me and everyone I know as 'the Lebanese place'. I guess the point I'm making is that at a place like this the name is unimportant. The food is tasty, cheap, and a bit on the greasy side so it ticks all the boxes for hungry youths. I wouldn't go here expecting a gourmet meal, but for the prices and the convenience it's worth munching on a felafel kebab or cabbage roll. 'The Lebanese place' might not be fit for a King despite its namesake, but it's definitely fit for a starving student.
